George Lynch was and still is one of my guitar heroes from my teenage years. But Reb Beach did a fantastic job on this tour and the album he played on. Don could still sing during this time. What's insane is Reb is a FANTASTIC singer when it comes to harmonies with the work he did/does with Winger. And Dokken just didn't even need him to sing. Mick, Jeff & Don nail the vocals live. This show (I have it on DVD) is a must watch for any Dokken fan.
Great concert, the DVD is outstanding, from the same show do Too High to Fly, believe me, you'll be 'flying' by the end of that jam! More Dokken please, they have plenty of great tunes, Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
Also thanks for the new format with you guys BEHIND the screen, we can still see you but now can also see the full video. Good Job, Bravo and Thanks! Keep on Rocking. 🎸
You should listen to 'Tooth & Nail,' the album cut. Saw them open for Kiss in '84. They were amazing back then. Truly one of the best guitar solos you'll ever hear.
Reb is good but George Lynch is a legend. He was compared with Randy Rhoads and EVH. The original video is great! They are driving around LA on a flatbed trailer.
Eh, not digging it. Rob is a great guitarist, but for Dokken, George Lynch is much, much better. He has an unmistakable style and there's a distinct difference. I've only heard two guitarists cover Lynch and get it close enough to sound like Lynch. His use of pinch harmonics and when and where he uses them for instance, is much different. On top of the guitar, George sings in a higher octave, which works so much better in this song. I'd like to see you react to this same song but with the original lineup. That lineup was lightning in a bottle.
Lol, young people treat sexual innuendo in the music of the 60's, 70's, and 80's like it's shockingly taboo. It's like they walked in on their parents doin the nasty or something.
Jeff Pilson, every Rock band would love to have this guy. No surprise that Foreigner picked him up.

Great DVD, Reb Beach was incredibly good replacing George Lynch, I saw both, both were killer!
What is the name of this DVD I would like to buy it
I forgot how underrated they are but they can absolutely tear it up.

Rockin with Dokken!!!!
80s hair band!!! One of the best
They never considered themselves a hair band. They were different.

Prime years for sure. I saw them at least four times in the '80s. They were always incredible live.
George is a maestro on the guitar.

I've seen both multiple times live. Reb is at least as good as Lynch and IMPO, better.
Cool another dokken song, great song, great video,I prefer the original video, more dokken
I love Lynch but Reb is incredible here. The equal of any 80’s guitar hero
“In her heart” 😂😂😂🔥

No George, this is criminal
Criminal? No, Reb Beach is another great guitar hero.
This is in no way close to the studio version with George Lynch. The tempo is too slow also.

Correction this video I definitely like better
No george lynch no dokken
meh not geroge.. reb is good.. but ya this is not a vaild version
I prefer official videos.
No George = 💩
Reb is great, but George is the man!
Should have watched the original video in which they played on the back of a flat bed 18 wheeler on their way to the concert
Dokken without George Lynch is boring....
