The TRUE sound of a fox! I refuse to believe vortech saying their new heritage edition sounds the same. I have two V1 S-Trims (one was an insane deal, so it's my backup), and both sound just like this. I can't imagine having a fox without this sound. Late 90's, you roll up to another fox at a light, or even just in the area, if you heard this sound, you knew not to mess with them. This was the sound that ruled the streets.
Heck yes you are right on the money! I had a old V1 S-trim 10 lbs on my old 92' and it scared the crap out of everyone idling at stop lights. 😂

That's an ultra sick ride, love the rake on it with the new Cobra kit, black wheels, blackout 5.0 badges, cowl hood, and of course the clear head light kit. Looks timeless!

An acquaintance had one of the first S Trims with a straight cut gear because he (we) were good friends with a speed shop that raced Pro 5.0 back in the day. They used to get test items from Paxton and SVO to play around with and then drip some of the items to their closest customers for some *ahem" competitive evening testing. He drove it to the track with the belt off and I was there working on a stroked big block with a 400hp shot. He wanted to buy some C-16. He activated the pump with the gas line off to rid the tank of some of the gas and then poured the C-16 in and put the belt on. The car was running mid 10s but was all over the track. Turns out the rims were spinning in the slicks.
What a sound, it does sound like a jet taking off, what a sweet foxbody, nice job.
I remember that car... it wasn’t just a wiring mess, that was a Fustercluck! ( kid friendly) ... what an amazing transformation. Beautiful work. You need that whipple though... the BIG one.

This dudes an old school gear banger i love it! That thing is bad looks just like a 93 cobra except the emblems that car is sick. I like the old school builds coyote swaps are amazing but it is nice to see these builds too takes me back 20 years to when these kinda builds were super common lol.

My son who is 18 now used to have to be put to sleep when he was a baby with this sound 7:55 . He was a premy and was hard to get to goto sleep when we brought him home . I could take my 95 out on the highway and do 65. The hum of flowmasters would put him to sleep everytime . Then i would just car him in carseat and all .If i didnt know any better i would say Flowmaster 40s , x pipe and longtube headers? Listening to this in a full blown home theater setup it sounds just like my old SN95 95GT with what i listed

Love the car!!!. I had a centrifical on my 90 GT and the noise drove me nuts after awhile.
I had a Paxton on mine, it never got old for me. But I only had it as my daily for 5 years. So, it may have gotten annoying later on

I have a 70 fastback fully restored and seeing these blower cars is giving me the itch to put one on there. Hell i did everything but paint it and I’m looking for a new challenge.

It looks like it's 11.9 to 12.5 on afr at 8lb a little lean for my liking. Man that is a beautiful car
They are still fine tuning it, but it runs really good
That afr is more than good for pump gas and 8 pounds. It’ll run even better when he throws some meth at it too.

Always gotta be a hater in the comments. That "noise" is glorious and most any real car guy is gonna love it. It's a mild low compression 302 on 9 psi with an old vortech and it seems to move out pretty good for what it is. This was a solid combo for a street car from that era. You don't gotta have 800 hp to be quick on the street and have fun. A 400+ rwhp fox can easily go 10s without much effort.

Totally right on the sub my thoughts exactly except I was thinking that it was the tried and true W3 which is a banger for the buck back in the day was the shit to have them with the old school punch amps!! I had 3 W3 12s with a punch 1000 in my lil lowered laid Ford splash extended cab!!! Mind you that was 20 couple years ago now and that thing would pound that truck to death and moved some serious air!! Won many competitions with it and then I got lil older and went with all Memphis audio and to this day I rock 2 Memphis MOJO 12s with a Memphis 1100.1 in my expedition and I can't complain it can take your breath with a bass drop!!! I'm getting older but I still love to bump my music when I'm commuting to and from work or out running errands!!! Ol school banger!!!! But thumbs up boss good eye on catching the sub!! Looks like we the only 2 that noticed or know what we are looking at. Have a good day.

Sounds like its got a little taller rear gear. Makes them so much more streetable but you gotta have some HP for the taller gears otherwise you're giving up too much. Definitely sounds good 👍
