It was def a 1000, just pause the video around 30:16 mark, u should be able to see the 1000 printed on the note. It’s ez to tell unless he gave her additional money off the camera

I'm surprised seeing an American enjoying the spicy and flavor-rich street food of Nepal. Back here in India/Meghalaya/Shillong, we have many Nepali people who comes from Nepal to work here. Nepali are very humble, friendly, trust-worthy, loyal and most notable of all is that they are the most hardworking people I've ever known, I have many Nepali friends and I consider it a privilege having them as my friends, man I love them all. One more thing, I don't think any chef can compete with a Nepali when it comes to cooking mutton, I once tasted a mutton curry cooked by a Nepali friend and I remembered it till today. I hope one day I will have a chance as well as time to visit Nepal.

ChatPate is Nepali version of bhelpuri with Nepali twist. Main ingredient is puffed rice which she added first. wai wai instant noodles, peanut, chillies, rock salt, masala adds the flavours. The 2 bottle she used was lemon juice and vegetable oil. Enjoy.

In western India they dont add Puffed rice / Muri / Mudhi
But in Eastern India We add Puffed Rice

Hi Max, just noticed the airplane you flew in from Kathmandu to Pokhara few weeks ago was the same model ATR-72 aircraft, same route, same airlines Nepal’s Yeti Airlines except the ser# of your airplane was 9N-AMM and the crashed one was 9N-ANC from the wreckage’s picture on the news, what a co-incident event, So happy for you Max, best of luck to you as always.

Pokhara is a very scenic place. Especially the lake view if you get a good window facing it in your room. Also don't miss the sunrise at 5:30am - 6:00am where you can literally see the mountains wearing three different colors in a span of two hours, bright yellow, orange and red. Before turning fully white by 10 am.

The best thing about Thakali serving is they give you free unlimited refills. However some Thakali do tend to charge extra for the meat curry, but everything else is unlimited.
Also this video makes me wanna go to Pokhara. Haven’t been there since 2017.
