At 28:57, these lads were saying 'We have to do something for him at last' cause he paid for the fairground ride; they wanted to do something for him as well. They do not wanted to loot him. Sadly, sometimes local people try to loot when they see a foreigner but the etiquette shown by these lads is absolutely delightful. This is what Nepal is all about. Enjoy your time fullest while you are in Nepal Mr. Philip; hope you will collect some lifetime experience in Nepal. Thanks!

Pokhara is one of the most charming, friendly and happy towns I’ve ever had the honour of visiting. Went there in March 2022, and left with a whole lot of memories of meeting some cool folks, listening to a lot of awesome live music, a lot of beer, late night lakeside strolls, epic Annapurna views, quiet quaint cafés. Everything that anyone ever wanted for a chill weekend! Loved it so much 😍😍😍 And btw Nepali people are some of the purest and the best hearted people I’ve met in all my travels. Love from Kerala India

Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake in central Nepal. It is known as the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a famous hiking trail in the Himalayas. The Tal Barahi temple is a two-story pagoda built on an island in the middle of the lake. On the eastern bank is the district
    w.p.

    • @sandeshdevkota6694

It's not the gateway of Annapurna Circuit but Annapurna Base Camp and other short treks in the region.
Annapurna Circuit starts from Lamjung... Goes through Manang,Thorong-la, Mustang and ends with the road trip in Pokhara.
From Pokhara you can hike to various places like : Mardi, Khopra, Kapuche,Poon Hill and such similar short treks.

The majority of Brits will go to a curry house and order chickens, beef, lamb etc. My point was that vegetable (or vegetarian) dishes are underrated, I literally didn't say anything about spices, or not knowing about the existence of them, so I'm not sure what your point is exactly, but I hope this clarified mine 😊

I agree, I've travelled it many times since my first time in 1982. The bus ride may be slow and stopping multiple times, it may be noisy and dusty and bumpy at times, it may break down, but I would still rather take the bus than the plane. And if you want a real local experience and get close to the people, take the local micro-bus with about 15 seats, but sometimes carrying over 20 people and sometimes a couple of chickens as well 😂❤️ Jai Nepal

You can get great internet speeds in major cities of Nepal. Currently using 250Mbps internet with no problem. Just be sure to check the internet speed of the place you’re staying beforehand though. Regarding reliability, it’s okayish… haven’t had any major problems, maybe 1-2 issues monthly. But it gets fixed as soon as possible.
