Enjoy guys, its so good to live in Nepal more time of year than in western country because with little money in Nepal u can enjoy more. I really like the way your buddy/Dad in the background too. What an amazing nice friend to have. I am Nepali but I live in Australia and only visit Nepal once a few yeras, But by looking at yours I am tempted to go back again sooner. Specially wet season is no good, but August Sept Oct Nov are awesome months in Nepal, pleasent weather. And may be autumn & springs are great times, not summer & winter so much. Winter is Okish but summer are tooooo rainy, bucketting rain which is not good for going out/travelling but staying at home it is ok. I would love to spend time and enjoying food n beer with you and your lovely friend one day. Really enjoying the feeling of easy relaxxed life, drinking beer and living with less expenses is so cool. Hello from Oregon, USA -- thank-you for the well-produced and interesting bike tour of Pokhara and surrounding countryside. Some years ago (1975-1978) I lived and worked about 6 hours walk NW of Pokhara in the Mardi River Valley in a small village on the Southern slope of Machapuchare. Several times a year, I would make the trip into town to buy supplies and meet up with friends who also lived and worked in the area, At the time, Pokhara was a small town with a laid-back vibe of just 26,000 people, few cars and no motorbikes at all -- they didn't arrive until the 1980s. Lakeside was largely undeveloped in those days with only a handful of restaurants and guesthouses, but a great place to hang with friends and meet foreign travelers coming from Kathmandu. All travel to areas outside of Pokhara was on well-used walking trails as the region was almost entirely roadless. Thanks again for the fun video, and for bringing to mind a wonderful and adventurous time in my life. Really great that you could have this experience with your dad -- looks like you guys had a blast!! Cheers--Mark

17:35 That man wasn't asking you money. He was just simply stating that his living conditions are bad because he has no money. When you asked him if he wanted money he couldn't understand you either and perhaps thought you agreed to him about his house being broken because he's poor, and said something like 'Yeah, no money', but just couldn't communicate properly. Just a language barrier thing man. He hadn't really asked you money even once throughout your entire conversation with him. Even when you were inside he was just saying "The roof has holes because we're poor", kinda in a humble way, without ever directly asking for any money.
