Dude awesome rig. I’m currently in an LR4 on the east coast. So many similarities between the two, but the Defender is much more easily customizable which is so cool. Great to finally see one with the factory winch and bullbar- and it looks good. Would be nice if it gave some protection to the lights but its still really good. Need to wait for Compomotive UK to make 18s that fit with no spacers or mods and then put them, lift kit and 33s (or maybe a bit more) on. If you’re thinking of doing so I highly recommend doing the bump stop increasers and limiting straps from lucky eight. In event air sus fails and drops down it will provide more room so body doesn’t fall onto tires and get you stuck. And limiting straps prevent over articulation from those extra bump stops that can damage CV joints and control arms. From personal experience with 31.8 tires on my LR4 the air sus dropped onto standard bump stops (luckily I was only 2 miles from home) and the tires barely fit- Made it buts lots of rubbing. Not sure if I was offroad with bumps if I would have made it.

Literally placed my order for almost the same model and accessories today. Is that the satin exterior finish? Also, do you have a base plate that goes in the rear cargo area that you put your fridge slider on that you can take out when you’re not over landing? If so I would love to know if you made it yourself or could I get 1 somewhere. Great video, thanks!!

I didn’t hear you mention the wrap. Is that the factory wrap? I just took delivery of a HSE same color and loving the look. Dilemma is that the bottom sills and wheel arches are gloss. Do I satin wrap the whole vehicle including trim and then add the extended wheel arches?
