I don't think the animation team is getting enough credit; this is the best looking animation I think I've ever seen. They are clearly using 3D models, but then they animate them on 2's or 3's like cell animation. Every frame looks like a comic book panel, it is gorgeous. The colors pop, the characters are always on model, the action sequences are smooth, beautifully choreographed, and benefit from 20+ years of advancement in the industry. It is just so, so beautiful. Even the facial animation, when the characters speak and emote, is best I've ever seen in any television animation ever. It rivals and maybe even surpasses original 2D Disney animation, it's that good. The faces are so beautiful, and the mouth movement is flawless, and you can read the expressions on the faces. So, so good. I need 10000 more seasons, and bring on Spider-man 97.
