5:55 completely agree. Scott Johnson will unfortunately forever be one of those guys who created something SO POPULAR and instantly iconic but whose name will never get mentioned with it unfortunately, only with him circles like this. His artwork is Marvel in the 21st Century
I had an idea for a Spidey film that now it would be considered inspired by the ultimate run but I had it some years prior It ditched the origin story by focusing on a Spidey that was like a decade active, a subplot I had in mind was if Peter was able to be in time to spend the 10th anniversary of Ben's death with Aunt May. Peter was close to his thirties and up until that point he only clashed against regular robbers and thiefs, until some of them got tired of always being easily capture, try to upgrade themselves and become sort of the Sinister Six
@@sigzbro The more they adapt recent stuff, the less faithful they'll get to be. Just look at Sam Wilson Captain America for an example, there's almost no material for them to adapt because it's so fresh, but they skipped directly to that, now they can't adapt past stuff without stealing from Steve's legacy. It's a no-brainer, recent material is never a good option, even if it's the best run.
If there is a reboot I hope it’s similar to what the Arrowverse did. Same characters and storyline, but now all in the same universe with changes here and there.
Yeah..., if there is a reboot I hope it harks back to those olden days of Marvel with stuff like the "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" (2006) video game and "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" (2010) TV series and the "Lego Marvel Super Heroes" (2013) video game. Please give us a good depiction of the original five Uncanny X-Men first class team (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Angel, Beast, and Iceman) and their origins and make their characters the main characters for once instead of skipping decades of development like the Fox X-Men movies. We never got a decent live-action adaptation of Cyclops or Jean Grey because the Fox X-Men movies only focused on Charles, Magneto, and Wolverine. The mainstream audiences and average movie goers need to be convinced of why Cyclops and Jean Grey are the leaders of the X-Men. Please give us the old Incredible Hulk back instead of Mark Ruffalo's Professor Hulk. Please give us a Thor who's actually a god and not just some overly comedic guy that Taika Waititi has made him out to be. Please give us a rebooted Avengers team with Hank Pym / Ant-Man and Janet Van Dyne / Wasp being founding Avengers just like in the original comics and in "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" (2010) TV series.

They should throw us right in the middle of this new universe instead of the very beginning. No more origin stories for characters we’ve already seen before.
My idea/theory for Wanda is that they retcon it so that magneto is their biological dad and then left. The mind stone didn’t give Wanda and pietro their powers but instead awakened their mutant gene, kind of like Deadpool.
@@Burger-g4v well, it was implied in Wandavision that Wanda had powers before the mind stone, when she apparently stopped Stark's missile from blowing up
@JustKrin An MCU book guide also mentioned the Maximoffs having latent genes awoken by the mind stone. It seems likely they'll make Magneto their father once he is introduced anyway.
@manzington To this day Lego Marvel is probably the best version of the Marvel Universe ever put to a video game....ok maybe Ultimate Alliance 1 tops it.
This is so true but then I see other people online saying they only care about marvel movies if it adds to the larger MCU and I just kinda 😭 Moon Knight was one of the best of the post endgame Shows, and it was a fully self contained story besides one reference to the blip. Felt cool to just see a new character and their world.
I don't know, I feel like the main complaint people have about the modern MCU is that nothing connects. Marvel's getting mixed signals when they're criticized for connecting too much and also not connecting enough
@@gavo7911 I honestly don't agree. I've never cared for the YA stuff done later with Noh-Varr or America Chavez but Marvel was doing nasty work in their mid 2000's House of M/Avengers Disassamebled/Civil War era and Young Avengers was no exception. The way it dealt with the fallout of Scott's death, added onto the Kang lore and gave me the only variant of the character I ever gave a shit about, tied in with the Pulse comics AND introduced multiple first time characters with charming personalities makes it a worthy counterpart to Young Justice and it deserves a good adaptation. Unfortunately they're muddying it with Kid Loki and America Chavez (and Ms. Marvel, who I like but isn't a YA) but if they had stuck to that original Iron Lad, Patriot, Stature, Hawkeye, Speed, Wiccan, Hulkling roster it would have be awesome. 🤷 young avengers 05 rocks.
@@gavo7911 tl;dr they may not have done it the way I think they should have but Young Avengers getting a movie/show is absolutely a reasonable decision.
I think that the likely rout is focusing on the effects of the mutants being part of the new world and lead to a Avengers vs X-Men situation, but your idea is MILES better than that.
Someone should warn him about Pie. It’s run by the same people as Honey and they’re doing the same thing… (I’m sure Troy doesn’t know, so don’t send hate)
I’d love if Reed and Cyclops end up becoming the Tony and Steve equivalent of this next Saga. Basing the next saga off of the ultimate universe is a great idea. My ideal phase would be; 1. X-men - something similar to Superframe’s pitch of the og 5 vs magneto and Sentinels. 2. Ultimate Spider-Man - Taking inspiration from the Hickman run 3. Fantastic Four sequel - keeping the same cast as the movie next year and having the team go up against the Maker. 4. Hulk- could make it a hulk vs wolverine film with wolverine being a government weapon like he is going to be in the ultimate universe. 5. The Ultimates - based of the comic run, mainly focusing on Hank and Janet. 6. X-men sequel - giant size team vs Sinister. Edit: I’d also add a Black Panther movie taking inspiration from the ultimate run as it would be nice to see T’Challa again.
@@sudhanvahvI agree. But tbh I'd also not like to see Ultimate Spider-Man so soon. Holland just began his college era, I want to see him naturally grow into an middle aged, married Peter.
Brie as Carol Danvers NEEDS to be in the soft booted universe idgaf, she deserves so much better writting instead of being dropped for poor reception which has nothing to do with the character but the WRITING
MCU starting not only when they didn't have the rights to all the heroes, but also at a time when people weren't quite as open minded towards "fantastical" stuff (they tried to explain Thor was an alien) is really funny and interesting in hindsight, and it's interesting to contrast with the Gunn DCU. The DCU coming in when heroes are established, both in universe AND in just the casual audience's eyes.
I'm afraid my MCU reboot would be too retro for most people. I don't really keep up much with modern comics. For example, my reboot of Thor would be more from a human POV. You'd see very little of Asgard. It would be about a disabled doctor named Donald Blake accidentally finding his life entwined with that of a Norse god and having to help said god stop other gods like Loki, Amora and Skurge from messing with people on Earth.
I don't think a hard reboot would be received well at all because it makes past events pointless by starting over So at best just introduce the Xmen and fantastic four and make them central and have the older Characters switch to supporting characters who still exist in the world
@@shippendales8543All marvel had to do was focus on another group of heroes and let the "avengers" be over with. Like introducing the X-Men and instead of having "avengers" movies as the big team up movie they should have just let the new centralized group be that big team up movie. Eg X-Men, fantastic four.
@@Aimville well he explains it in the video but back then, they couldn't do any movies with those characters since they sold the movie rights, so they had to gamble with the avengers and all those obscure characters. Like they could help out with Fox with the X-men, F4, Spiderman (pre civil war), but couldn't have them connected to the mcu back then. Why you think we never got or haven't even gotten a hulk movie aside from the 2008 film.
Honestly, not giving thor the Donald Blake identity was a huge mistake. They need to give it back to him. Like, people get all excited when they see Tony and Reed do science stuff together. Thor and Dr strange are literally both physicians. Why has that never come up in a story?
If I may? Some of the current comics have absolutely magma arcs that could be amazing if adapted. An immortal hulk/fractured son animated horror movie would be raw Smashstronaut can be used for space stories Theres venoms comics. Kindred would be a DOPE Halloween arc(which is funny because Nick Spencer ends his story around the end of october in 2021) Theres miles comics which are amazing Iron man supposedly has some good stuff The X men have raw stories from what I heard (X of swords was good) The F4 are on a come up She hulk is interesting Heck I heard captain marvel has some nice stuff Blood hunt I heard got crazy but was good
Regarding your previous video about the DCU Batgirl, I'd say that a great pitch for the DCU Batgirl could be similar to the recent run called "Batgirls" by Becky Cloonan and Michael Conrad, where it would be Barbara, Cassie and Stephanie working together. I think it would probably work best as a series and it would really help explore the characters and the camaraderie they share.
I always like the idea for a plot where babs in a wheelchair isn't oracle yet as she thinks she has no purpose in life anymore and through her relationship with cass and steph she realises she does and takes on that oracle mantle
Awesome idea, I also think that since the video games are gonna be canon to the DCU, it would be really cool to see a prequel game where Barbara is batgirl, I agree that the better role for her is Oracle and that’s what the movies should focus on, but a prequel game with her batgirl would be so cool, same with Barry Allen, I think there should be a flash game with him that serves as a prequel to Wally West’s movie appearances
5:45 one of the last gifts my Grandfather ever gifted me was a giant framed poster of this picture. It has remained on every single one of my bedroom walls since 2007
I just recently started English videos to learn English (im Italian, 14yo) and i wanted to watch not random vids but ones about my passions, finding you on my homepage was a fantastic discovery, thanks for your videos and keep up with the great content, love ya
9:14 hardest mcu frame without a doubt. great use of perspective by putting the audience into Loki’s shoes and seeing firsthand how formidable the first Avengers team was. great vid btw
I think it all comes down to a couple of key factors. Like the bun, the type of cheese, the beef, the sauces, etc. Like, that burger is gonna have to be damn good to convince Molecule Man to stitch this new world together.
0:50 you know, in Secret Wars or even after, maybe on a Deadpool movie, if they as a joke cast Robert Downey Jr for a variant of every original Avenger as a cameo would be hilarious AF
I read Hickman's Ultimate Spider-Man back in January and I've been reading comics weekly ever since! I think this new ultimate universe is phenomenal and I think it would be cool if it was adapated down the line. Although I am satisfied with reading peak fiction every month.
I would love a universe that's made up of animated shows with phase one being Spider-man and Daredevil (because Disney has free reign over bug-boy if it's an animated show that's under 45 mins), a Wolverine show where he fights the hand, a Ghost Rider show because an animated Ghost Rider show would go so hard and an X-men show where Wolverine shows up after a couple seasons to show you don't need him
I think it would make sense for the MCU to reboot after Secret Wars so it could introduce a new X-Men and recast the Avengers but the thing is, if they do that, what about all of the other characters they have introduced in Phase 4, like Sam Wilson Captain America, Yelena Belova Black Widow, etc?
My FIRST 4 movies for the new mcu will be something like this: THE XMEN:a team with the 4 originals, storm, gambit and wolverine NOVA: an origin story for richard rider version HULK AND GHOST RIDER: a very cursed idea, but is a duo I always wished to see, an R rated movie of course THE INVADERS/FIRST HEROES EVER: a movie placed in the 40's with a captain america post-WW2 recruiting union jack, namor and the classic human torch
6:13 I think I had a little box with landscapes on them like a city and stuff that had magnet figures you could put on them of Marvel characters that was very much this style.
The MCU is hesding into an ibteresting direction now with Sam Wilson, FF and Thunderbolts. We havent seen an ongoing cinematic universe this deep before. Even Star Wars tells the same stories. Go weird MCU. Ill always havemy comics anyway.
that Scott Johnson artwork flashbanged me, such nostalgia man. I used to have a puzzle of that image with all the heroes as a kid and I glued it up and hung it on my wall, and everyday I'd be googling every obscure character's name to learn about them
Honestly you're my favorite person I subscribed to this year as for how I would approach a reboot, I would honestly let go of the live action approach and just go full on animated with movies and television with art styles reminiscent of the comics. Cause you could do a lot with animation and comic accuracy and translating it. I would obviously do some changes like Spider-Man being in college or in his mid 20s, I also think it would be cool to see this universe set in the decades they appeared in like maybe in the 60s or 70s. My first project would be a Spider-Man show (obviously) and then a Fantastic 4 animated show that was reminiscent of Saturday morning cartoon with episodic adventures with an overarching plot line and the next thing I would do is an animated Hulk show with a much more dark and horror tone inspired by Immortal Hulk and other stuff with the X-men and other heavy hitters.
I have had that poster you’re talking about since I was a kid! It moved from my childhood room, to my college dorm room, to my first apartment, and now it’s in my children’s room
Didn't include a Big Wheel movie, Big Wheel streaming series, Big Wheel video game tie-in, Big Wheel x DC comics cross-over, or actual Big Wheel. Totally unrealistic reboot plans, instant dislike and unsubscribe.
I think Thor has tons of untapped potential that most movie fans haven’t seen because most of them don’t read the comics. Thor comics are awesome and we NEED to have Beta Ray Bill in a movie. Honestly I think he could carry his own trilogy
I think this is a poor idea, what made the MCU special was the limitations. Picking some of the lesser known heroes made people want to come for the stories more than the characters, if they started off with the heavy hitters people wouldn’t care about the little guys. I bet characters like Doctor Strange, Ant Man, and The Guardians wouldn’t be as popular as they are today. Edit: note to self, comment AFTER watching the video in its entirety
the ironic thing about that ironman armored adventures comment is APPERANTLY according to scources peter in the armored adventures universe was apperently gonna be older than tony and be his mentor soooo....
14:42 Or Scott Pilgrim, they did the movie with the last volume of the comic not being finished, the author put plots of the ending in the movie and then improved on it in the final volume.
I really like your videos, and your outlook on things in general. I agree that the best thing to do is to reboot in a way that feels earned and not arbitrary. Obviously audiences are not going to be a big fan of characters being recast after decades of growing familiar, but if the MCU or any franchise for that matter is going to maintain the longevity that comics themselves have then they need to do it. In the same way that comics change artist, eventually the MCU must change actors.
just want to say i love your videos and I'm so happy to have stumbled upon you. the videos are great and gives me more super hero centered videos to watch
With the direction MCU is going right now, here's I think what will happen. Wanda vs Doom in Secret Wars. Wanda beats doom and "fixes" the incursions but accidentally merges the timelines instead and gives us a new sacred timeline.
I feel that if they had the rights back in 2008, Spider-Man would've been the main character for most movies in the MCU... and he would've had that gorgeous costume (NWH) from the beginning.
Using the new ultimate universe as a baseline for a "hellworld" that they need to reset could be cool, and I definitely like the idea of earning the reboot But also "the world you find yourself on is now beyond saving and the only hope is to reset" gives me DCAMU vibes and the end of that storyline was rough. Seeing all these characters miserable and knowing their world is dying was hard to watch. Barry running to reset it was just too sad for me after getting invested with those versions of the characters
Omg, I absolutely need to check out the new Ultimates for the new She Hulk, she's been one of my favorite characters Marvel has ever had, and with Tatiana Maslany being, honestly too good for Marvel, I'm glad the comics are also treating She Hulk well as a character
My god you are right about that artwork, like yeah I grew up on Marvel but the main thing I remember was that specific art piece! We had a copy hanging on the walls for years.
I absolutely adore the new Ultimate Universe by Jonathan Hickman and co. Ultimate Spider-Man (2024) and The Ultimates (2024) aren't just the best Marvel Comics out at the moment, but some of the best comics of the last ten years! Please adapt the Ultimate Universe!
My only irk with it is that it's called "Ultimates" when it's really another universe entirely. You see this in entertainment a lot with sequels made way later-on having the same title as originals, it's very confusing. But otherwise the stories are great, just please make the naming conventions easier to track.
i really appreciate this video because you dont just be negative about current marvel's spot but work with it and make it connect w current comics that are often overlooked
I actually came up with my own take on an MCU, and divided it into 3 sagas, each with their own focus and BBEG: Phase 1 focused on the X-Men, with Apocalypse being the main threat; Phase 2 focused on the Avengers, though the big bad villain would end up being Superior Iron Man, as a way to subvert expectations; finally, Phase 3 focused on the Midnight Suns and the Champions. Spider-Man, the FF and the Guardians would feature on all sagas, though they never were the main focus.
Ngl, I'd love to see the DCU take elements from the new Absolute DC universe since that's their Ultimate DC. And would help them stand out from other live action adaptions.
I think the best to do it is go based on the comic marvels by Alex Ross explaining the marvels universe start to end what changes but still keep stuff from the old mcu. Probably post secret wars . This will also include X-men characters throughout the history
Phase 1: Fantastic Four 1 (Enter Moleman) Ant Man (HANK, NOT SCOTT) Hulk 1 Fantastic Four 2 (Enter Doom) Spider-Man 1 Thor 1 Iron Man 1 (Manderin is defeated but doesnt die) Hulk 2 (Enter The Leader) Captain America 1 Iron Man 2 (Happy Hogen becomes The Freak, Enter Crimson Dynamo) The Avengers (Hank, Janet, Cap, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, NOT HAWKEYE AND BLACK WIDOW)
God... I fucking hate it how the MCU got Spider-Man's relationship with other Marvel heroes *completely* wrong... In the MCU, Peter Parker / Spider-Man is often portrayed as this fanboy type character that desperately wants to be apart of The Avengers team, but in the original comics Peter was very much a loner especially early on in his early days as a superhero vigilante... Now, this isn't to say that Peter in the original comics hated everyone or wasn't friends with other heroes, but he was on equal footing with them and he didn't address them as if they were above him. This also isn't to say that he had *great* relationships with other heroes in the original comics as he's been known to lash out at them and even start fights with them like in "The Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #1" where he literally broke into The Baxter Building looking for a job and a way to make money fighting crime and in "The Amazing Spider-Man Annual (1964) #3" and along with this he was also not very trusting of them. Like even when Peter Parker was a high school student in the original comics, whenever he put on the Spider-Man costume he was an adult, he was the main hero and not anyone's sidekick and he was his own distinct person as opposed to in the MCU where he was basically Iron Man's ward for five movies... Man do I miss the olden days of "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" (2006) and "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes" (2013) where Spider-Man interacted with other Marvel heroes in a way that wasn't sucking the skin off of them and fucking becoming their mentee and Spider-Man acted like he was his own independent superhero because I loved when Spider-Man did that and I thought that was awesome and I think he should do that more lol. Also, one of the things I dislike about modern Spider-Man adaptations is that they have Peter be just so flawless, fluffy, and boring and if he has any flaws it boils down to "You are too kind ...\ Push yourself too hard". Both Tom Holland's MCU Spider-Man (Although, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" might've repaired this for me by having Tom Holland's Spider-Man punching the ever loving shit out of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin lol...) and especially Insomniac's "Marvel's Spider-Man" definitely fall into that category for me... In the original comics, Peter was kind of an ass/prick in his early days lmao, and his jokes weren't cringe or awkward either the way they like to portray him now as being an eye-roll jokester.
@@andraw4003 Andrew came the closest. But they kinda botched it in the second one by making him come off very creepy in some scenes But I just find it an absolute waste that MCU Peter comes off more like Miles than actual damn Peter Parker. He’s just the “friendly kid”. Where’s the loner dude who didn’t care for team-ups and partners???
17:59 honestly, i'd start with the most famous ones, Spider-Man, Wolverine (that teases a X-Men movie), Fantastic Four (that's as a "test" if it's possible to do movies of Teams), a Daredevil Movie (without Wolverine, that joins the team only in the end as a post credit); and then i'd try to do a movie of someone not so famous, to make him know, and honestly, i'm i decoded between Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) and Black Panther
@@GodInHumanFormhe means that if he started the universe from scratch, so no the movies aren’t being taken into account because they wouldn’t exist in this hypothetical

With this I wanted to see what a marvel universe that took place in real time would looks like! Obviously there are gaps missing and you’d need an actual writer to put theme to these events and make them compelling but this is just what I came up with for what events I’d want to see in an mcu reboot with ALL characters available🤷🏾♂️
I have a love/hate relationship with these videos. I love the creativity and comic recommendations, but on the flip side of that, I got SO much content to get thru already (movies/shows/video games/comics) because I lived under a rock for the first 20 years of my life experiencing the same few movies, shows, & games but I decided to become open to new experiences and good god, there’s SO much I missed out on. Every time I watch these vids, you recommend a comic or two that I can’t help but wanna read, so I reluctantly add it to my already-bloated list. I didn’t even know there was a new Ultimate comics line or that Hickman started an Ultimate Spider-Man. I haven’t read a single Hickman book yet but I’m already eager to read it just based on the sheer amount of praise for his F4, Avengers, Secret Wars, & House/Powers of X (all of which I plan to get to within the next several months).
great video but I don't think we should be putting these fresh and creative new comics (which are still building their first main arc) into the slop machine.
Now with the MCU moving to focus on the multi-verse more, some kind of MCU reboot to fix their past mistakes would be really cool if it can be done right. Maybe have the What If? disney+ show eventually tie into the cannon MCU using the Kang storylines to destroy the multiverse barriers and combine two main universes with the one we have now, and a comic accurate one.
Phase One: Captain America Fantastic Four Hulk Ant-Man (feat the Wasp) Spider-Man Thor Iron Man X-Men Daredveil TV show The Avengers. It's long but DC has a long first chapter too. Hell, I'd even like to see a S.H.I.E.L.D. centered movie/show to introduce Natasha, Clint, Bobbi etc
How I would’ve made the MCU Phase 1: 1. Spider-Man: same origin story as the Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man movie but with Doc Ock as the main villain. Norman Osborne is present in the movie but isn’t Green Goblin yet. Also mentions Oscorp industries rivalry with Stark industries. Peter will also be working for the daily bugle (newscast not newspaper) as a part time job and will also be seen taking pictures but on an iPhone instead of a camera while fighting crime. 2. Fantastic Four 3. X-Men 4. Iron man 5. Hulk 6. Thor 7. Captain America: The First Avenger 8. The Avengers (introducing black widow and Hawkeye ) Phase 2: 1. Spider-Man sequel 2. Fantastic Four sequel 3. X-Men sequel (introduces Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch) 4. Daredevil 5. Black panther 6. Doctor Strange 7. Captain America: Winter Soldier 8. Ant Man and the Wasp 9. Avengers: Age of Ultron Phase 3: 1. Iron man sequel 2. Hulk sequel 3. Thor sequel 4. Spider-Man sequel (introducing Miles Morales) 5. Captain America: Civil War 6. The Wolverine 7. Deadpool 8. Ghost Rider 9. Avengers: Infinity War 10. X-Force 11. Avengers: Endgame
We shouldn't do Black Widow and Hawkeye as founders again again NGL. The absence of Hank and Janet in the MCU is VERY felt and if we're getting a do-over, we should have them in instead. Janet named the Avengers and as Troy said is the HEART of the team, I'd save Nat and Clint for the sequel.

I had an idea for a Spidey film that now it would be considered inspired by the ultimate run but I had it some years prior
It ditched the origin story by focusing on a Spidey that was like a decade active, a subplot I had in mind was if Peter was able to be in time to spend the 10th anniversary of Ben's death with Aunt May.
Peter was close to his thirties and up until that point he only clashed against regular robbers and thiefs, until some of them got tired of always being easily capture, try to upgrade themselves and become sort of the Sinister Six
Too soon. Marvel gotta stop adapting recent stuff, they're gonna run out of material to use, it's one of the current problems they have now.
@@radrno7They have the past stuff to adapt also. They're literally never going to "run out" of stories to tell.
@@sigzbroThey were specifically talking about the 2023 Ultimate reboot, there's no "past stuff" there.
@@sigzbro
The more they adapt recent stuff, the less faithful they'll get to be.
Fr
I swear, the Arrowverse is such a paradoxical jumble of good and bad decisions.

They should throw us right in the middle of this new universe instead of the very beginning. No more origin stories for characters we’ve already seen before.
Like how superman 2025 is in an already established universe with active heroes and villains
Facts and recast Tchalla son of Tchaka
I like this idea
I personally think if they reboot just jump to a different timeline with a complete different storyline
So even if they did some sort of origin story it would still be fresh and original not over saturated and done in every new super hero movie
My idea/theory for Wanda is that they retcon it so that magneto is their biological dad and then left. The mind stone didn’t give Wanda and pietro their powers but instead awakened their mutant gene, kind of like Deadpool.
@@Burger-g4v well, it was implied in Wandavision that Wanda had powers before the mind stone, when she apparently stopped Stark's missile from blowing up
@JustKrin
An MCU book guide also mentioned the Maximoffs having latent genes awoken by the mind stone.
It seems likely they'll make Magneto their father once he is introduced anyway.
no way! i thought i was the only one who had that head canon theory.
@@kevinskywalker5539 me too, it’s good to see a likeminded person here. I wonder if troyoboyo17 has a similar idea.
its weird that magneto isnt their father anymore in the comics

I love that the monitor screen for this one is just LEGO Marvel Superheroes lol
its peak so
@manzington To this day Lego Marvel is probably the best version of the Marvel Universe ever put to a video game....ok maybe Ultimate Alliance 1 tops it.
Having the new marvel ultimate universe and dc’s absolute universe back to back nowadays is peak
Ya need to be realistic here
There is literally no way they do that
Even if they do something similar to that it won’t be as good
They need to go back to character based stories instead of building a massive cinematic universe.
This is so true but then I see other people online saying they only care about marvel movies if it adds to the larger MCU and I just kinda 😭
Moon Knight was one of the best of the post endgame Shows, and it was a fully self contained story besides one reference to the blip. Felt cool to just see a new character and their world.
I don't know, I feel like the main complaint people have about the modern MCU is that nothing connects. Marvel's getting mixed signals when they're criticized for connecting too much and also not connecting enough
@@mr.iiconic Well one problem is that they’re connecting things that nobody cares about. We do not need a Young Avengers movie.
5:40 Man that Spider-Man artwork is so nostalgic.
I think that the likely rout is focusing on the effects of the mutants being part of the new world and lead to a Avengers vs X-Men situation, but your idea is MILES better than that.

An ad for an ad blocker is crazy
Right? 💀
I’d love if Reed and Cyclops end up becoming the Tony and Steve equivalent of this next Saga.
Basing the next saga off of the ultimate universe is a great idea.
My ideal phase would be;
1. X-men - something similar to Superframe’s pitch of the og 5 vs magneto and Sentinels.
2. Ultimate Spider-Man - Taking inspiration from the Hickman run
This is amazing...just a small suggestion, for the Black Panther movie, introduce Storm and place it before Giant Size X-Men
@@sudhanvahvI agree. But tbh I'd also not like to see Ultimate Spider-Man so soon. Holland just began his college era, I want to see him naturally grow into an middle aged, married Peter.
Love this. I think it would be complete with an Ultimate Armless Tiger Man film
Reed and Cyclops are the blandest leading characters in their respective teams. Why do you want that?
Oh boy I just love this
Pls this come true
Been hearing people mention you around as inspiration, which i think is cool
I'm afraid my MCU reboot would be too retro for most people. I don't really keep up much with modern comics. For example, my reboot of Thor would be more from a human POV. You'd see very little of Asgard. It would be about a disabled doctor named Donald Blake accidentally finding his life entwined with that of a Norse god and having to help said god stop other gods like Loki, Amora and Skurge from messing with people on Earth.
I don't think a hard reboot would be received well at all because it makes past events pointless by starting over
So at best just introduce the Xmen and fantastic four and make them central and have the older Characters switch to supporting characters who still exist in the world
@@shippendales8543All marvel had to do was focus on another group of heroes and let the "avengers" be over with.
An immortal hulk/fractured son animated horror movie would be raw
Smashstronaut can be used for space stories
Theres venoms comics.
Kindred would be a DOPE Halloween arc(which is funny because Nick Spencer ends his story around the end of october in 2021)
Theres miles comics which are amazing
Iron man supposedly has some good stuff
The X men have raw stories from what I heard (X of swords was good)
The F4 are on a come up
She hulk is interesting
Heck I heard captain marvel has some nice stuff
Blood hunt I heard got crazy but was good
Regarding your previous video about the DCU Batgirl, I'd say that a great pitch for the DCU Batgirl could be similar to the recent run called "Batgirls" by Becky Cloonan and Michael Conrad, where it would be Barbara, Cassie and Stephanie working together.
Imagine if James Gunn announces an animated adaptation of Batgirls after Brave and the Bold?

They are gonna light reboot. They are keeping guys like Tom Holland,Mackie and old actors like Hugh Jackman

NOVA: an origin story for richard rider version
HULK AND GHOST RIDER: a very cursed idea, but is a duo I always wished to see, an R rated movie of course
THE INVADERS/FIRST HEROES EVER: a movie placed in the 40's with a captain america post-WW2 recruiting union jack, namor and the classic human torch
The X-Men have 5 originals. Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Beast and Iceman

that Scott Johnson artwork flashbanged me, such nostalgia man.
And where's The Wall?
I think Thor has tons of untapped potential that most movie fans haven’t seen because most of them don’t read the comics. Thor comics are awesome and we NEED to have Beta Ray Bill in a movie. Honestly I think he could carry his own trilogy
13:48 Armored Adventures was one of my favorite shows growing up.
bruh the Ultimate Saga has to be the greatest name for a third and final saga in the Mcu
4:32 You know what else is massive?
The low taper fade
13:08 honestly I've been saying this for a while Miles Teller is the perfect casting for the maker he just exudes that energy

Or Scott Pilgrim, they did the movie with the last volume of the comic not being finished, the author put plots of the ending in the movie and then improved on it in the final volume.
subscribed off this, your love of the source material is apparent in every second of this video. thanks for the knowledge!
"No more multiverse."
Dude, when you said, "-my mom." A low quality j.peg of Muscle Man from Regular Show entered its way into my subconscious. I think I'm stupid.
Don’t worry I was really close to editing it in
@@troyoboyo17 did I just see into a slightly different timeline? Crap, I'm that mutant who started Civil War II!
I feel that if they had the rights back in 2008, Spider-Man would've been the main character for most movies in the MCU... and he would've had that gorgeous costume (NWH) from the beginning.
Using the new ultimate universe as a baseline for a "hellworld" that they need to reset could be cool, and I definitely like the idea of earning the reboot
But also "the world you find yourself on is now beyond saving and the only hope is to reset" gives me DCAMU vibes and the end of that storyline was rough.
The hair looks great, man! The only MCU content I watch these days is when I see a video of yours pop across my feed.
MCU 2 phase 1 “Cosmo the dog” “Lucky the pizza dog” “Jonathan the Wolverine” and finally “Squirrel girl”
Phase 1:
Fantastic Four 1 (Enter Moleman)

Spider-Man 1
Thor 1
Iron Man 1 (Manderin is defeated but doesnt die)
Hulk 2 (Enter The Leader)
Captain America 1
Iron Man 2 (Happy Hogen becomes The Freak, Enter Crimson Dynamo)
The Avengers (Hank, Janet, Cap, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, NOT HAWKEYE AND BLACK WIDOW)
I really just want to see a live-action Spider-Man that actually pulls off his angst and loner attitude right
Exactly. Nowadays his character is dissolved by trying to make him an awkward relatable everyman nice guy.

Now if u read all that I’m sorry for u but also would say this is my general timeline for a mcu style reboot. I didn’t wanna include anything such as multiverse & time travel bc I frankly am not good at writing things like that & kangs time manipulation is limited in that he’s on a fixed timeline.
The soviet would shit their pants if the usa had superheroes lmao
Phase One:
Captain America
Fantastic Four
Hulk
Ant-Man (feat the Wasp)
Spider-Man
Thor
Iron Man
X-Men
Daredveil TV show
The Avengers.
It's long but DC has a long first chapter too. Hell, I'd even like to see a S.H.I.E.L.D. centered movie/show to introduce Natasha, Clint, Bobbi etc
5:44 Bro, I had a puzzle of this image, that is so nostalgic lol
16:41 GODZILLA MENTIONEDDD
PERFECT VIDEO FROM A PERFECT MAN. you don't even know how much I love these kinds of videos from you :)
Instead of being live-action, the MCU reboot will only be LEGO movies from now on.
I want the Incredibles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe 🤬👊
We can get the LEGO Incredibles. Maybe even Ninjago too
Lets gooo Troy doing what he is known for his Spider-Man videos lol
How I would’ve made the MCU
Phase 1:
2. Fantastic Four
3. X-Men
4. Iron man
5. Hulk
6. Thor
7. Captain America: The First Avenger
8. The Avengers (introducing black widow and Hawkeye )
Phase 2:
1. Spider-Man sequel
2. Fantastic Four sequel
3. X-Men sequel (introduces Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch)
4. Daredevil
5. Black panther
6. Doctor Strange
7. Captain America: Winter Soldier
8. Ant Man and the Wasp
9. Avengers: Age of Ultron
Phase 3:
1. Iron man sequel
2. Hulk sequel
3. Thor sequel
4. Spider-Man sequel (introducing Miles Morales)
5. Captain America: Civil War
6. The Wolverine
7. Deadpool
8. Ghost Rider
9. Avengers: Infinity War
10. X-Force
11. Avengers: Endgame
We shouldn't do Black Widow and Hawkeye as founders again again NGL. The absence of Hank and Janet in the MCU is VERY felt and if we're getting a do-over, we should have them in instead. Janet named the Avengers and as Troy said is the HEART of the team, I'd save Nat and Clint for the sequel.
well to see you come back to your roots as a spider-man youtuber is certainly a surprise
