They gave “Black Adam” and “Blue Beetle” a movie before Static in the height of “Mile Morales’” popularity. Heck they canceled “Batman Beyond” the animated movie during the that time as well.
@@Rage_Templar I didn’t even hate “Black Adam,” it’ll probably be the only time we’ll get “Hawkman” or “Doctor Fate” in a blockbuster movie (also they were pretty good too).
I get it with Blue Beetle as he’s another underrated character that’s barely used really but yeah no Black Adam is just ridicules. Or maybe it’s ridicules to me that his rival was Suoerman and Dr. Fate instead of fucking SHAZAM.
As somebody who remembers the DC message boards before they were shut down, DC still gets a fresh hot L over the shit storm that popped up when McDuffie took over the Justice League and people started calling it the "Affirmative Action League" just because there were FOUR BLACK MEMBERS active in the League at the same time. Members the PREVIOUS writer brought in. The man was dying and this is the shit he had to put up with.
Not with modern Hollywood. They can't have straight strong black male role models. Static would have to be gay. Or weak and incompetent so his sister, Sharon, could step into the spotlight as a hero to replace him. The only reason Black Lightning got a show was so because they knew they'd get 3 females along with him. He was going to lose his powers. Before the show was cancelled. His daughters were going to replace him.
Because Static is not a Batman sidekick. I love DC, I still find them to be infinitely better than Marvel when it comes to their approach to superhero themes. However, they always had an extremely terrible issue of never giving any character a chance so long as they aren't related to the trinity. Heck even Green Lantern and Flash whom I consider to be on the same level of quality as Batman and Superman get sidelined hard. That's how much favoritism do they show for the Trinity. And that's been their crutch, the only reason why the majority favors Marvel is precisely because Marvel doesn't have this much bias towards their characters.
@@bloody4558 it's more like DC doesn't want Sun, Moon and Stars even in regards to the Big 3. They like the sunny Superman, love the mysterious moon with Batman Wonder Stars howerver? Maybe once or twice...and with Green Lantern being the rocket and Flash effectively mission control...yeah...this ain't it chief.
@@RestIess.Gambler Did you watch the video? I think it was addressed that it is not the case. It just that the companies(and I include Marvel in this) refuse to let the black characters without lightning get any type of recognition or change at an adaptation for some reason. There is tones of black heroes with powers as diverse as the other ones.
I think the loss of creators like Dwayne McDuffie has hurt not just the pushing of Black Characters in DC proper, but especially in animation where he would make sure to have some of the best written stories like Justice League Unlimited, Static Shock, even Young Justice, prominently feature black characters as major players or protagonists in the story.
I somewhat agree but at the same time DC has been pumping out multiple animations that revolve around Batman, superman or the Justice league. It makes no sense why Harley quinn can get a decent show (until season 4) but they won't give us another animated Black superhero. I'm still surprised that Wonder woman still didn't get her own show. You can say it's because of SS but still WTF
I have no idea why they don't use Vixen more. Hells, she was even used in the RWBY/DC crossovers. As Eric July has said over and over... there is not a problem with needing more black superheroes. There is a problem with horrendous writers/writing over at DC. (still wondering what the HELL that thing was in creating Starfire's 'daughter')
@@laurenj6802they do tho the writers just purposely want it to be bad so when it “fails” they blame it on sales. They literally could of made the new Batman the Foxman bc bats are flying foxes in some culture and fox is his father last name like come on

I do think Cyborg isn't strong enough of a character to operate outside an ensemble cast. He doesn't have a good rogues gallery either. Though Gridlock was pretty cool.
Black Lightning is uniquely positioned for a lot of meaningful stories. Being a respected black man that can touch many young teen lives as a principle would be like a playground for a lot of wholesome arcs
@saierwe Yeah. That's why I like and respect this character, but he's always written in boring way. When I saw Static even with the same power set, he was always written better. The use of manhole covers and discs to fly with was so cool.
@@saierwe in some ways they can be boring, but I just feel like it just depends upon the right writer to make sure that Jefferson can use his powers more creatively like for instance maybe use the electrical synapsis within the mind of others to be able to read minds or even to use his powers to electrify the cells of a person’s body to heal them or even manipulate the electrical pads within the brain to make people feel pain stuff like that I feel like they can make Jefferson’s powers more interesting or to get actual black lightning instead of being his name sake and give it some sort of I don’t know mystical means behind it or something.

@@Toatekaha yes they do. Black Panther and Storm alone are better than every DC black superhero. That’s without even mentioning Miles Morales, Luke Cage, Blade, Bishop, Falcon, and War Machine.
And even some of these adaptations where Black characters do show up, get it wrong. Apparently Black Lightning's creator Tony Isabella urged people to not read 2018 Batman and the Outsiders, claiming that it turned Black Lightning into a sidekick to Batman :/ Although to be fair, DC likes to turn EVERYONE into Batman's sidekick
Pretty much, Black Lightning was written to be a role model for the African American community. And yes you're very correct in saying that everyone is a sidekick for Batman. DC needs to learn to stop wanking Batman and give other characters a chance
And he has so many sidekicks already! The Batman writers don't know what to do with them, half of them end up just standing around (or getting amnesia or dying). Why keep giving Batman more? He doesn't need Black Lightning or Superman or Blue Beetle as sidekicks. DC, let them be free so that they can all be their own characters🦋
If you can get an interview with Tony Isabella (co-creator of Black Lightning) he will tell you how ass-backward DC was in the 70s with making Black superheroes and how they originally envisioned Black Lightning before Tony took the reigns. Black Lightning really only exists because Marvel was way ahead with Black superheroes (Luke Cage, Black Panther, Storm, Brother Voodoo, etc) and DC didn't want to be seen as lagging behind. Also, the addition of Black Vulcan in the Super Friends cartoon (a carbon copy of Black Lightning) is another screwed-up story.
They don't need to pay them to use their characters but go off. Edit: looked it up I was wrong, they don't have the right to use the characters without milestones permission.
@@Hello-bi1pmI disagree. I think the reason we get so many bad adaptations is because certain producers/studios are too greedy and won’t invest in “expensive” creators/writers to get a bigger payout later. Who cares who is better? Every black hero is a “genius” Terrific is a newer character and a rehash of an old unpopular white character. He was in one comic. Justice society and it was read by older aged fans. Most black heroes are unoriginal or rehashed race swapped versions. Most have lightning powers or mechanical like cyborg n steel and iron heart (who’s also a genius) when everyone is a genius that cheapens the effect. The old guard of hero’s have decades of history. It would be nice for black creators to maybe look into ancient history and myth of black peoples, then make something based on that. Instead of doing black versions of unpopular white characters. Black panther is the most original and has decades or history to draw from.
Mr Terrific isn't close to Reed Richards Reed is like an intelligence cheat code. Marvel has made Reed so smart that no one comes close Whereas in DC there is a debate
@@lavon65beamon Bro the question was black characters in comics/fiction. And Bishop's powers are that he absorbs energy and can then use it in many ways. It's not lightning based, but he could obviously absorb electricity.

@Infamous1892 No. That's stupid. By your same logic, Superman should be a bad character cause we don't have any human-looking aliens writing for him. Batman should be bad cause no billionaire has ever written him. Bad writers are bad writers, regardless of skin color or appearance.

Icon and Static deserve more attention from DC, like static shock had a popular Cartoon that made him popular. Look at Miles Morales, he has basically become The spider man for this new generation due to how many things his in but also by how great his movies, game and comics are. (Edit: Why does everytime I mention Miles as a good example in a comment, it devolves into people that hate Miles trying to justify their opinion that he is a terrible character?)
I am getting a little tired of them using Spiderman content across different forms of media to set up Miles. I hear they're planning on doing it with the live action movies as sell. So… white guy here, for as much as that may matter, BUT… I grew up watching Static Shock, Justice League/Unlimited, and essentially any piece of remotely superhero-like media (Danny Phantom, Ben 10, Samurai Jack, Generator Rex, etc) especially since my dad, who was a teenager in the 80s, had been a comic book fan, and shared all of his interests with me growing up, and now I love them more than he does. Now that I’ve given some back story, let’s get to the meat. Dwayne McDuffie is the GOAT. He had his fingers in all the best pie. Unfortunately, I have been unable to purchase the Milestone compendiums yet, but I will, as soon as I have the money, so that I can read his and the other Milestone writers’ works. Static Shock had a profound effect on me though, and is probably one of the earliest shows I remember watching that made me think, especially with episodes about school shootings, racism, etc. Static should get a show or movie, and it should be top-tier, with a dedication to Dwayne McDuffie. But past that, Icon and Rocket should also, absolutely, get a trilogy of movies, at the least. And yes, some people will say that the Milestone characters should stay in their own universe, but I disagree, because I was 11 or so when Young Justice came out, and I think if done right, having the Milestone characters added to the DC sandbox can lead to greatness, similar to the Charleston characters, Fawcett characters, etc. They can and should all have their place. DC has just mismanaged their characters way too much, and brought on these new writers who only want to create a legacy for themselves by making new characters that check boxes or are self-inserts, rather than using the pre-existing characters to tell great stories. Don’t get me wrong, a new character every once in a while would be awesome, especially if they are unique and fresh… but that never happens. It’s always just a reskinned character. Literally. Now, if we look past the Milestone of it all, like you said, Vixen, John Stewart, Mr. Terrific are all fantastic. But then you’ve got Steel, who I personally find awesome. Yes, some may say he is a Superman rip-off, but for the story he was introduced in, it makes sense, and if you/DC want a “black Superman”, but don’t want Icon, he’s perfect. You did mention Black Lightning, but I want to give him special focus, because I also really like him, mainly for the fact he is a teacher. Always thought it would cool to play his character kind of like Morgan Freeman’s character in Lean On Me (I’m pretty sure that’s the movie), where he’s a teacher turned principal doing everything he can to turn a school around, trying to help the good kids shine and stay out of trouble, but also getting the bad kids out to make it safe for the others, while others move against him. And he’s a leader of The Outsiders. Just remove Batman from the equation, and let Sapphire Stagg fund the team or something. Obviously you talked about Cyborg as well, and while I think Cyborg is great, he’s apparently just incredibly difficult to give new material, because all they can ever do is write him as this “am I man or machine” story, and he desperately needs something new, but I think he is best suited being a Titan, and then helping from the background like the other New Teen Titans as the next generation comes up, and being a member of the League when they need him, but give him something more to do than be transportation and communications PLEASE. I like Batwing/Luke Fox as opposed to Jace, the other Batman, but hate the name Batwing. I think he should be called Gargoyle personally, and have him, Tim Drake, and Barbara team up to lead Wayne Tech and develop new technology for all kinds of uses, but mainly to help people, while also doing superhero stuff on the side. I don’t know enough about Naomi, but I have heard good things about her in the past, so… maybe? And I know he’s a villain, but Bronze Tiger in the Suicide Squad could be very compelling if done right. Past them… I’m sure there are other characters that just aren’t coming to mind right now, but they waste so many of their characters as it is, of any race, gender, etc, we’ll probably never see the greatness I always imagine. We can always hope though, especially with what Gunn and Safran have been cooking.
Black Lightning and Nubia should be more popular, as DCs first black hero and first black female hero they arguably should DCs first picks when needing a black character in something.
Error- Vox is the first Black DC hero and his wife Bumblebee is the first Black DC Heroine. Nubia starts her story off as a villain who slowly reforms into a Wonder Woman mantle- share. This is why she doesn't show up often, despite her 1973 debut. Black Lightning didn't show up until 1977, same year as Bumblebee, but about a few weeks after her. Vixen shows up first in a planned 1978 debut, but it got delayed to the early 80's. Mal Duncan has a 1970 debut which even predated John Stewart in 1971. Bumblebee is often first picked in many adaptations of DC comics for a good reason. She's a teenage female version of the Atom...and his ex-sidekick. (Excuse me, ex-partner...everyone on the Titans feel the same way as Arsenal about being called sidekicks.) This is even referenced in DC's official history...although Karen and Mal often argue whether John, Jeff and Mari were first or if it was them in modern-continuity. Karen says John, Jeff and Mari, Mal says them for both continuity and publication. Logically, Mal's right...he and Karen were first. The Teen Titans were known for being way pavers. Vox debuts as the first black superhero and about a week or two later his wife gets in on the act, then John, Jeff and Mari...but John tends to get "saucy" about being a GL-shareholder in his early days...which is why he floated over everyone's heads...and disgusted everyone except Hal (who recommended it) at first until the Xanshi incident gave him a wakeup call.
Static is more popular due to being younger I think. Hell, being young is largely why Peter Parker as Spider-Man became so huge despite not being the first Superhero. Comic readers were mostly young and latched onto Peter's more relatable struggles with school/dating/bullies etc Nowadays those fans are older and relate to the adult versions of Peter from Spider-Verse and the Insomniac games, meanwhile Miles has sort of picked up some of that younger fan popularity. I think Static fills that similar fan demand, or at least he did when his show was airing.
@@wakkaseta8351 yes...and it was odd. Nubia also got a more proper Wonder Woman title at the time too and they had even given her a Future State special where she was connected to African mythology concerning "Aunt Nancy's" flyswatter ex-machina.

as much as i am a die-hard batman fan, GOD does DC need to step it up with the development of their cast in general. JL and JLU are two of the coolest shows I've watched and I LOVED vixen in it sm I am so sad she isn't pushed. The appeal of JL and JLU is the interactions between a lot of the cast of the JLA and I got attatched to so many of them and I feel like DC just planted a seed and forgot to give it water. I was first exposed to static shock, icon, and rocket through young justice and I thought they was pretty cool and I dunno much about them and milestone, but they are definitely characters that deserve attention and proper development.
I completely agree because after reading about them, their characters are so interesting because there is a dynamic between these two that is really interesting to see because essentially they grow from being partners to pseudo father and daughter, and it makes it more inspiring that Rocket propelled icon to become a superhero, which I find so refreshing Because she wants to generally help their community more ways than one and even go global to help the world and also seeing their viewpoint of how they handle certain topics because icon has such a I would say fashion look on life where as Raquel brings in that spark of hope for a better future which most of time they often clash would you want another regarding these ideology but that’s what makes them such a unique pair imo.
I'm a white man, and I agree with EVERY point you make in this video. Glad Mr Terrific is going to be in the new Superman movie. I just hope to see the Milestone project if it ever comes to fruition. An ICON movie would be genuinely great, it’s the perfect black Superman movie and he’s literally a character begging to become an ICONIC (pun intended) on-screen character. We should be on our third ICON actor by now and he should be bigger and more recognizable than Black Panther.

Yeah sadly the thing about milestone is that there always seem to be rights issues, static was on hold for years because Warner refused to pay out royalties to a McDuffie's widow iirc. Real scummy on their part. Static definitely deserved a movie before.... black Adam. Woof
You forget my boy Kaulderam from young justice. He's aqualad and the orginal aqualad still exists, even in the show. And Bumblebee. Bumblebee barely appears, I've only seen her do an appearance on Teen titans and be a main character in dc super hero girls. I hope that Rocket, aqualad, and more get cameos.
Fun fact, I was actually part of Milestone's Initative for new creators. I was asked to write a prompt for Rocket and Icon that asked me to show their conflicting views, and maybe it was me, but it felt very "OK Boomer." People know I'm not very political, and for me I grew up on the old DC cartoons, with Static Shock being among my all-time favorites. So, I had my work cut out for me. I labored for weeks writing a script, working with a friend. One draft after another, I kept putting out garbage, because I realized I was writing what my pretentious colleagues at DC were putting out. My friend suggested I return to the Saturday morning cartoons, the characters I loved. He told me not to be afraid to inject optimism, fun, and of course characters I knew. While I couldn't swap out Rocket and Icon, they didn't say what villains were off the table. Draft after draft, I actually wrote something entertaining. It featured an obscure Static Shock villain who didn't get much love or exploration and instead of the typical soapboxing about politics, I returned to more broad and uniting themes. By my own admission, it was a bit campy, but it was the loveletter to the DCAU many people wanted. My biggest feedback from the people I workshopped it with was how I nailed the villains. Especially the one I utilized from Static Shock, they loved his motives, his personality, and just how he came off as that person you love to hate. Ultimately, they passed, refusing to give me feedback, which I admit is understandable with how many people there were. However, became disillusioned with comics, having already experienced some of the worst of the industry working with some of aforementioned colleagues who went on to write for DC and Marvel. So, I moved on and found a new outlet as a journalist/writer. Briefly I entertained a notion of returning to comics, with a co-creator of a certain cult classic of the late 90's/early 2000's ready to hand over the keys to their kingdom so I could write the first official continuation since the show ended. However, turns out the rights were in possession of someone else, and unfortunately, they had no plans to do anything with them.
They’re all so painfully underrated. Static barely shows up, Black Lightning probably has the best interpretations because of Young Justice and his own show but he barely shows up still, Vixen is horribly underused, Duke Thomas I think people usually forget exists, John Stewart hanging byA thread by the DCAU, Kaldur is underused, and I don’t know what the actual hell Icon, Mr. Terrific, Cyborg, Bumblebee, Herald, , or Rocket by doing. When someone mentioned the idea of raceswapping Clark Kent or Hal Jordan it actually pissed me off simply because we already have black supermen (Steel and another one) and Green Lantern (hell we have a black female GL) And honestly, as much as I don’t mind them having lightning abilities….its kinda become a trope in of itself. I’ll kinda like to see them get different abilities other than lightning more. (Also I’m so goddamn irritated by how YJ did Static.

No lie, Mr. Terrific is so underrated and under used. I hated how they turned him into a jobber on Arrow, and I'm cautious about how James Gunn will be using Edi Gathegi. (WE REMEMBER DARWIN.) Frankly, the Injustice animated movie did more justice in his character than anything outside of the comics. The dude led the JSA! I'm just jaded when it comes to certain live-action adaptations of DC superheroes.
Luke cage, mr terrific, blue marvel*, John Stewart, Falcon - that took way longer than I wanna admit

Yeah I laughed when he brought up Uncle Ruckus, cuz I have always thought the same! 😂
This is an amazing video. I couldn't agree more with all of your points. Seriously, bro, well done.
Bro Without Dwayne McDuffie a lot of the milestone characters are just left to rot sadly.

Y'all forgot about Jim Valentino's ShadowHawk. From Image comics. He's a black character. Then we got obscure but dope black characters like Night Thrasher, Rage, Triathlon, BloodWynd, and Sentinel. None of these guys have lightning based powers and two of them don't have any powers at all. Just highly trained abilities.
Shadowhawk was sick
"Shadow", "Night" 😭
Icon and Static deserve more attention from DC, like static shock had a popular Cartoon that made him popular. Look at Miles Morales, he has basically become The spider man for this new generation due to how many things his in but also by how great his movies, game and comics are. (Edit: Why does everytime I mention Miles as a good example in a comment, it devolves into people that hate Miles trying to justify their opinion that he is a terrible character?)
I am getting a little tired of them using Spiderman content across different forms of media to set up Miles. I hear they're planning on doing it with the live action movies as sell. I kind of wish they would do something different like may set up Mayday Parker as Spidergirl. And i can agree on Static Shock. I'd love to see a movie based on the animated series
No they don't. DC has WAY BETTER Black characters than Marvel. They have multiple iconic characters, and DC creates an entire comic book series every Black History Month. Peter Parker is Marvel's standard bearer. Miles Morales will never be as big as Peter Parker. As for his movies, Miles only has an animated feature to his credit. Peter Parker's games and comics were always far better.
@@DavidMartinez-ce3lp The problem with Mayday/Spider-Girl is that they need a happily married Peter Parker for that, and marvel will never do that in the mainline comics if Paul is any indicator of that(plus we saw what they did to Ben Reilly, they just don't want anyone aside from Peter to have the title, Miles is popular enough to out shine Peter in some regards. Otherwise he would suffer a similar fate)
I agree but Why would they when they can oversaturate characters like Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn etc even when they have Cyborg he feels like a background character or plot device. DC just doesn't feel confident in other characters Hell WW can barley keep up with Bats and Sups
If I was writing these Black Characters I give them new stories and new villains to battle.
They definitely need that. Static is in a good place because of his show. If other characters got a similar treatment, then it could work.
in general most of the DC heroes need better rogues, Batman and Superman had a lot, maybe Flash and Teen titans too
but Green lantern? Black lightning? Martian manhunter? arrow? Almost nothing
They did exactly that with Cyborg during Rebirth, but fucking no one was reading that book. It was dope, cause they got into Cyborg dealing with robotic and cybernetic villains on his own. @@Percival983John was a damn tragedy
(Excuse me, ex-partner...everyone on the Titans feel the same way as Arsenal about being called sidekicks.)
This is even referenced in DC's official history...although Karen and Mal often argue whether John, Jeff and Mari were first or if it was them in modern-continuity.
Comic readers were mostly young and latched onto Peter's more relatable struggles with school/dating/bullies etc
Nowadays those fans are older and relate to the adult versions of Peter from Spider-Verse and the Insomniac games, meanwhile Miles has sort of picked up some of that younger fan popularity. I think Static fills that similar fan demand, or at least he did when his show was airing.
Didn't Nubia get that Tumblr looking comic a while back?
@@wakkaseta8351 yes...and it was odd. Nubia also got a more proper Wonder Woman title at the time too and they had even given her a Future State special where she was connected to African mythology concerning "Aunt Nancy's" flyswatter ex-machina.

I want an Icon and Rocket project so bad!!
Had to give you a like mane that Zro edit had me dying 😂
I'm a white man, and I agree with EVERY point you make in this video. Glad Mr Terrific is going to be in the new Superman movie. I just hope to see the Milestone project if it ever comes to fruition. Icon and Rocket are great, and Static is awesome.

Exactly, and not to mention that during his time as a member of the Teen Titans/Titans and in the Doom Patrol show, he was written as an actual character rather than just the token black tech guy
They really need to get this Blade movie on track. The first Blade movie is one of the most beloved superhero movies of all time. As long as the script is decent you have strong potential to smash through these sub 100 mill openings that have been plaging the movie industry this summer.
An ICON movie would be genuinely great, it’s the perfect black Superman movie and he’s literally a character begging to become an ICONIC (pun intended) on-screen character. We should be on our third ICON actor by now and he should be bigger and more recognizable than Black Panther.
10:24: I too never cared for the decision to have Cyborg on the Justice League, especially as J’onn J’onnz replacement in the big 7. Just make Martian Manhunter’s human form, John Jones, black. He was obscure and only became known in pop culture in the 2000s. There wouldn’t be any real pushback against that. In fact, almost every piece of DC extended media already does that. Just put that in the comics.
As much as i liked John Stewart in JL and JLU, he was honestly the most boring member of the team to me. Most of his stories were taken from Kyle Reiner or Hal Jordan.
I mean same thing with Barry Allen and Wally West took writers take wallys personality and swap it with barry
@hoodiek6802 sort of, but i'd say he had more of Wally West's personality. I'd say they did that more in the Flash CW show.
@@DavidMartinez-ce3lpBarry was nothing like Wally in the cw tv show, also people only say Barry’s taking Wally personally when he cracks a couple of jokes which is werid bc Barry has always been the most light hearted character in the JL and a jokester. Just that a lot of Barry’s jokes are dads jokes, or jokes that are funny only bc of how awkward the timing or delivery was.
But how does that make him a bad character in the JLU???? Also a lot of elements in Wally west was taken from Barry in the JLU, like how Wally was basically a swap of Barry Allen, living a similar life style, and same exact origin as Barry Allen
@2kx62 I'm more saying he took Wally's personality because he wouldn't stop talking. He always had the drop on villains and then he would Crack a joke. And he would lose a lot. It got old and wasn't very funny. I'd always considered Barry to be wiser and thought things through better(aside from Flashpoint).
The only problem with trying to make Icon work is he needs Rocket and god forbid studios give a black woman a staring role.

Fun fact, I was actually part of Milestone's Initative for new creators. I was asked to write a prompt for Rocket and Icon that asked me to show their conflicting views, and maybe it was me, but it felt very "OK Boomer."
People know I'm not very political, and for me I grew up on the old DC cartoons, with Static Shock being among my all-time favorites.
When someone mentioned the idea of raceswapping Clark Kent or Hal Jordan it actually pissed me off simply because we already have black supermen (Steel and another one) and Green Lantern (hell we have a black female GL)
And honestly, as much as I don’t mind them having lightning abilities….its kinda become a trope in of itself. I’ll kinda like to see them get different abilities other than lightning more.
(Also I’m so goddamn irritated by how YJ did Static. They had a damn go to right there with Black Lightning being his mentor….but nope he’s wasted on constant jokes about his lack of a girlfriend…..)
That girlfriend thing pissed me off.Dat was really insulting to me as a black guy.
U wanna know one problem with these pple...I will say it..they jus hear black and its like he won't be good looking or we won't waste time on facial creation just give him a bald head and huge lips and u have a black character.😢.
MARVEL abandoned dis theory when designing miles..goodness dat guy is fucking good looking to be a cgi creation. And also if they actually make he and Gwen a thing...we talking more fans aswr to God because they too cute.Remember young justice 1 when we first saw lightning...he had a bald head...what's with whites thinking black youngsters and even men don't keep hair.Bald head and eye masks....I'm afraid we don't work like dat No more. Also why did they change static's first hairstyle😏.Dude was fuckin good lookin with his full dreads and they changed it in s3.
And just look at the design for his babe.😢😢.So black girls are ugly.Keep fooling urselves,Mr producers.Aqualad became gay out of nowhere...I fainted when he kissed he guy....I loved dat dude and I was traumatized after seeing he was made gay after DC created a beautiful black female Atlantean meta.😂😂
I wish Dwayne McDuffie was still around today he'd be the best writer for a lot of them.
