Little tip… when pulling the eggs out of the oil, turn them cut side (hole side) down while they cool. Helps prevent any excess oil from getting caught inside
Yeah that definitely sounds like the logical way to do it, I’m shocked at watching him do them it didn’t seem like much of any oil was in the center with doing the opposite.
Omg so genius. I'm definitely making this for the next big family dinner. We also like to do a Mexican version with sour cream and salsa instead of mayo and mustard
My daughter made Avocado Deviled Eggs for 4-H. Lime juice and hot sauce instead of the mayo and mustard, the avocados give the eggs the creamy texture. Immersion blender makes quick work when you’re cooking a big batch.
Awesome that you are getting up more “side dish” recipes. Of course those fried deviled eggs could make a meal by itself. Make a heck of a sandwich with those too, crunch all around with toast
I made these for my Family & it was all they were talking about! It was awesome to have a classic with a twist & give them great memories & delicious food!👍
My wife and I made these today and the family loved them!! We followed your recipe with only a minor twist to the flour seasoning. We will definitely be making these for every get together!! I smoked 4 pork tenderloins using your Meat Church pellets and Vodoo seasoning…they were excellent also!
I just started smoking last week. Everything I have smoked, 2 chickens, pork butt, and ribs have been off the hook! Thank you for all you and your crew do!
That is an absolute genius idea with deviled eggs. Hands down I bet that is the most delicious deviled egg ever. I cannot wait to try this. And I'm going to share this with everybody I know because that is absolutely delicious looking and you sir I give a big thumbs-up 24 deviled eggs because that crunch when you bit into it sounded just so wonderful and that's just amazing how people can think of stuff and make what's absolutely delicious even more delicious thank you for this video.
I'm from the UK and for years when I've watched anyone cook in America most if the food looks so tasty I think they use alot more seasoning and flavourings than we do here these look tasty I heard Teyana Taylir made these so brought me here ro try make them can't wait.
I made your recipe and it's very good . The Cajun in Me took over the second time and I put creole mustard in the yolk mixture and I used duck eggs . I added crumbled blue cheese and bacon bits with a dusting of sweet smoked paprika . Try that one
@@Hi-TechHillbilly lol, so true. My wife makes me 2 dozen of my own in addition to the 2 dozen she will take to holiday gatherings, where I will also eat some of those.
Looks awesome. I was going to make deviled eggs for easter anyway so I may as well make these. I am adding bacon cheeseburgers egg rolls with home made 1000 island dressing on the side, along with lamb dolmades with tzatziki sauce and fried and flambéed Greek cheese saganaki. no main course just appetizers so we can eat when we want to and enjoy each other company. Great recipe to add to my collection.
We ate at a restaurant over spring break just recently that had a deviled egg appetizer that were fried, and I told the waitress when she asked how they were, "I ain't made at it". I also thought I need make these. Now I have the perfect recipe to try! Nice timing!
@@MeatChurchBBQ you just made me sad and intrigued at the same time. Ha! Looking forward to seeing it, and I'm sure trying it. My youngster is a huge mac and cheese fan.
Great video Matt as always! Me and my husband are big fans and always love watching your videos and have smoked a lot! Love the Atlanta Braves hat at the end 😊
Wednesday has become one of my favorite days. I look forward to seeing what the master mind has in store for us. This is a great twist on a classic app and I am excited to try these out.
DUUUUUUUUDE!!!! You had me at the title! And yes, my family will definitely inhale these. I cannot wait to make this one. Oh and I cannot wait for next weeks secret ingredient with the brisket mac n cheese. Your recipes never cease to amaze me man. Your channel rocks..."I ain't mad at it" one bit. Keep on keepin' on man. Looking forward to what the future brings.
My 7 year old said you tricked her “he didn’t even cook bacon”. Lol. Thanks for all the cooks. We love them and try many of them. Best part, my kids look forward to watching with me. Thank you!
"Egg on egg action"...hilarious! I was thinking about the irony of the breading station, and whether or not you would be dipping hard boiled eggs in beaten eggs, and there it was. Not a deviled egg fan, but I can appreciate the twist. Happy Easter, Matt.
These are amazing. I tried them when Matt did it for Traeger. I would like to see some desserts. I did some chocolate chip cookies with an apple wood and it was delicious.
Yummm! I grew up in Boston, and we always used Hellmann's mayo, but since living in Indiana since 2011, things change, and I'm an official Duke's fan now! I love this, just subbed, and Deviled eggs have always been my favorite too around the holidays, and sometimes whenever! I could also eat the whole dozen if someone doesn't pry me away lol. Thanks, and Happy Easter! Edit: you mentioned pork panko, but I'm a fan of chicharrones, so I finely blend them to use as breading for a low carb meal. 😉
I grew up in a Hellmann's house hold. I heard of Dukes long time ago, but wasn't sold in my area. Then one day I was grocery shopping and saw it on the shelf. I grabbed some and haven't gone back to Hellmann's since. I hate Mirclewhip mayo!🤢
Hey I made this yesterday for mother's day. I didn't put the brisket in it be cause it was still cooking. I did however dice up some jalapeño and put that I. DUDE!!! Thanks for a great one Matt
I LOVE watching your videos! I've been cooking on my Traeger at least twice a week since I've started watching you! LOVE IT!! I've also ordered 4 different types of your rubs! They are ALL amazing! I would like to see if you have a video on how to smoke a whole duck with crispy skin? I've watched a few other videos but yours as always been SO great! I'd love to see how you do one!
Going to have to try this and see if my Father-in-law tries one (or has the chance to, lol). This is a good twist on a tasty classic - also our family did dry-rub smoked ribs and smoked ham in our smoker - the ribs were a new addition this year and will be staying, going to add something new every year to grow the table further or at least tweak some dishes.
LOVE MEAT CHURCH!! My one step addition we do it with our deviled eggs is smoke them. I would add in make your hard eggs then cold smoke the whites 10 minutes possibly more (depending what you smoke with). I will FOR SURE be trying this though!!
@Meat Church BBQ It changes the game we make them every time people come over for game night. I'm happy to see awesome people trying them out. You won't be mad at it.
Sounds awesome! One suggestion given you smoke meats, smoke the eggs first after hard boiling. I used a hickory/maple/cherry pellet blend that gave the deviled eggs an amazing sweet smokey flavor.
Another tip is to put the yolks, mayo and other seasonings into a ziplock. Mash and mix in the bag and when done cut tip off corner of bag and pipe into egg whites.
Just a little extra----use ground pork skins as your coating--(also makes it keto-friendly) we also like the sweet pickled jalapenos on this---either fried or regular for the filling....Love the videos BTW
Gotta try this. Can't wait to see next weeks video. During one of the covid shutdowns we had a family gathering (Shame right? Nah.) and I smoked pork belly burnt ends then we sliced em in half and put them in an HEB frozen mac n cheese. It's been requested many many times since.
Hey, Matt! New sub to the channel...you had me at "Deep Fried"...but Deviled Eggs, one of my favorites! I could hear the crunch when you took that bite. This is something I have GOT to try...thanks so much!

Eggs look fantastic. On my drive to Kemah we stopped by Waxahachie and stopped in Meat Church and bought a five pack of rub. Wish I could have met you in person. Heading back to Missouri after Easter.
Can you air fry instead of deep frying? Also how long do you let the eggs chill after frying before putting in the filling? Thanks and another great video!!
Try the roll technique for cutting the eggs. set the knife into the white (long ways), and push away for a full rotation. You will cut time in half pulling out the yolk, as they should remain fully intact on one half of the egg white.
Little tip… when pulling the eggs out of the oil, turn them cut side (hole side) down while they cool. Helps prevent any excess oil from getting caught inside
