Deep Fried Deviled Eggs - The Best Easter Side
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 4 มิ.ย. 2024
- Deviled Eggs were a staple for my family while I was growing up. Whether my Mom or Grandmother's were making them, I was eating as many as they would let me. I love the pickle twang in that egg mixture.
Deep Fried Deviled Eggs is a twist on a southern classic. This one of the most delicious recipes on meatchurch.com. Not only do we deep fry the eggs, but we also add pickled jalapeños and a touch of hot sauce. Don't worry, these do not come out "hot" or too spicy.
Pro Tip: These do not store well as they get soggy. Not that there will be any leftover.

Little tip… when pulling the eggs out of the oil, turn them cut side (hole side) down while they cool. Helps prevent any excess oil from getting caught inside
Yeah that definitely sounds like the logical way to do it, I’m shocked at watching him do them it didn’t seem like much of any oil was in the center with doing the opposite.
@@whocares4274 yea videos never really show how it is lol never comes out the same for whatever reason 😂
One of my three favorite cooking channels on TH-cam. I’ve definitely stolen the “I ain’t mad at it” whenever I make something good.
Me too. Lol. I made my first brisket overnight last night and just sliced it. That was what I said when I tasted it. I did good for a rookie 😁
So funny. Not.
Shirts coming soon. :)
@@johnlebzelter4208 That's so kind. 😥
What are the other two? 😊
This was sooooo good, was a hit with the family too, they were devoured.
Awesome feedback!!!
Omg so genius. I'm definitely making this for the next big family dinner. We also like to do a Mexican version with sour cream and salsa instead of mayo and mustard
Yo recipe please, sounds fire
Ooohhhhh! I may have to try that!
My daughter made Avocado Deviled Eggs for 4-H. Lime juice and hot sauce instead of the mayo and mustard, the avocados give the eggs the creamy texture. Immersion blender makes quick work when you’re cooking a big batch.
That's literally genius
Awesome that you are getting up more “side dish” recipes. Of course those fried deviled eggs could make a meal by itself. Make a heck of a sandwich with those too, crunch all around with toast
100%!
I made these for my Family & it was all they were talking about! It was awesome to have a classic with a twist & give them great memories & delicious food!👍
My wife and I made these today and the family loved them!! We followed your recipe with only a minor twist to the flour seasoning. We will definitely be making these for every get together!! I smoked 4 pork tenderloins using your Meat Church pellets and Vodoo seasoning…they were excellent also!
None of your recipes have failed me yet. My family loves all of them. Thank you !
Awesome feedback!
Brilliant recipe upgrade👍🏼
Looking forward to next week too. I love twists on Mac&Ch😋
Tequila Sunrise and Fried Angeled Eggs! What a recipe you gave us! Bless You Matt! Love your channel!
Twice as many as you need? Matt. Come on. I'm going to eat that many before I even get them all filled.
I have to agree.
@@MeatChurchBBQ I can eat 2 maybe 3 fried eggs but you devil them and it's like 29. Voodoo
@@Hi-TechHillbilly lol, so true. My wife makes me 2 dozen of my own in addition to the 2 dozen she will take to holiday gatherings, where I will also eat some of those.
Duke’s is disgusting.
Exactly.
I'm making those this Easter Sunday! They look killer!
This looks absolutely delicious! I must give this a try!
Can’t thank you enough for sharing such great recipes. Please keep up your great work.
Thanks Jack!
Just tried these yesterday and I’m obsessed 🤤
Thank God for these Great Cooks
Definitely going to try to make some because they are different and look delicious.👍
I gotta try this. Sounds awesome that crunch too! 😊
I'm from the UK and for years when I've watched anyone cook in America most if the food looks so tasty I think they use alot more seasoning and flavourings than we do here these look tasty I heard Teyana Taylir made these so brought me here ro try make them can't wait.
I will definitely have to give these a try, they look Delicious 😋😋😋😋
Soooo gonna try this! I do a variation on Deviled Eggs where I mix Guac in with the egg yolks - I think they'd be a match made in Heaven!
What time is dinner at, fam?
😋 lol
That is an absolute genius idea with deviled eggs. Hands down I bet that is the most delicious deviled egg ever. I cannot wait to try this. And I'm going to share this with everybody I know because that is absolutely delicious looking and you sir I give a big thumbs-up 24 deviled eggs because that crunch when you bit into it sounded just so wonderful and that's just amazing how people can think of stuff and make what's absolutely delicious even more delicious thank you for this video.
Dang, this recipe looks awesome! Great video Matt, recipes keep bringing me back week after week!👍
Thanks Darin!
There’s a restaurant south of Savannah that serves deep fried devils eggs. Great stuff.
You just blew my mind, totally awesome!!!
Looks awesome. I was going to make deviled eggs for easter anyway so I may as well make these. I am adding bacon cheeseburgers egg rolls with home made 1000 island dressing on the side, along with lamb dolmades with tzatziki sauce and fried and flambéed Greek cheese saganaki. no main course just appetizers so we can eat when we want to and enjoy each other company.
Great recipe to add to my collection.
You, sir, are a madman! I never would've thought of this. Thanks for the inspiration!
Any time!
We made deep fried deviled eggs last year for X-mas and yes they are amazing. I love the idea of the pickled jalapenos.
Fantastic!
Made these for Thanksgiving...the family LOVED them!!!!!....THNAK YOU!!!!!!!!
I appreciate that you do not waste time on all of the redundant processes. I will definitely try this.
Thank you! Just trying to be quick and to the point.
So thanksgiving is this Thursday and I am most definitely making these
I just started smoking last week. Everything I have smoked, 2 chickens, pork butt, and ribs have been off the hook! Thank you for all you and your crew do!

I love your video format, this is much better than other channels I've seen.
Thank you. Tell all your friends about us. :)
Just made these today. They were a total hit!!!!
Love that!!!!!!!
These are amazing. I tried them when Matt did it for Traeger. I would like to see some desserts. I did some chocolate chip cookies with an apple wood and it was delicious.
Also Matt I'm a huge fan of collecting physical cookbooks, have you guys considered doing a cookbook? I'd buy one real fast.
Could be working on mine currently. :)
@@MeatChurchBBQ "HALLELUJAH" 🙌
Me too GolFish, got some from early 60s & 70s.
Hello Matt . Thanks for sharing . Your fried deviled eggs recipe. They sure do look delicious . You And Family . Have A Great Night .😊
Can always count on this channel for new ideas. It's outdoor cooking season in Alabama and I'm for sure going to make this as a side.
I'm not even a big fan of deviled Eggs Matt but these are a game changer...
HAHA you gotta try em!
I Make Salsa Devil Eggs that is really Tasty😋 Thank You for Sharing all these Tasty Recipes!
Going to have to try this and see if my Father-in-law tries one (or has the chance to, lol). This is a good twist on a tasty classic - also our family did dry-rub smoked ribs and smoked ham in our smoker - the ribs were a new addition this year and will be staying, going to add something new every year to grow the table further or at least tweak some dishes.
intermittent fasting for me on mon and tues - wed new MC video is always a treat
Congrats on being first!
Cannot wait to try this!
definitely sharing, hv an important event coming up & want to try these on the family.
Great video Matt as always! Me and my husband are big fans and always love watching your videos and have smoked a lot! Love the Atlanta Braves hat at the end 😊

I LOVE watching your videos! I've been cooking on my Traeger at least twice a week since I've started watching you! LOVE IT!! I've also ordered 4 different types of your rubs! They are ALL amazing! I would like to see if you have a video on how to smoke a whole duck with crispy skin? I've watched a few other videos but yours as always been SO great! I'd love to see how you do one!
I've got to do a duck soon. Thanks!!!
Wednesday has become one of my favorite days. I look forward to seeing what the master mind has in store for us. This is a great twist on a classic app and I am excited to try these out.
I appreciate that feedback Victor.
We ate at a restaurant over spring break just recently that had a deviled egg appetizer that were fried, and I told the waitress when she asked how they were, "I ain't made at it". I also thought I need make these. Now I have the perfect recipe to try! Nice timing!
YES!
Omy Gosh , Thanks for the recipe , Cant wait to try this one , will be sharing but surprising the family on Easter . Happy Holidays,,,

I'm stopping today plans to make these now !!! Thank you
I hope you have these on the menu.
Definitley going to try this. Can't wait for next week though!!!
Hope you like it!
I made your recipe and it's very good . The Cajun in Me took over the second time and I put creole mustard in the yolk mixture and I used duck eggs . I added crumbled blue cheese and bacon bits with a dusting of sweet smoked paprika . Try that one
Sounds great!
DUUUUUUUUDE!!!! You had me at the title! And yes, my family will definitely inhale these. I cannot wait to make this one. Oh and I cannot wait for next weeks secret ingredient with the brisket mac n cheese. Your recipes never cease to amaze me man. Your channel rocks..."I ain't mad at it" one bit. Keep on keepin' on man. Looking forward to what the future brings.
Thanks Jason!
Thanks for this....instead of coloring eggs with my kids we'll be doing this...yummy new tradition.
I like the sound of that!
I heard the crunch 😮❤
My 7 year old said you tricked her “he didn’t even cook bacon”. Lol. Thanks for all the cooks. We love them and try many of them. Best part, my kids look forward to watching with me. Thank you!
I love that. Tell your kids I said thank you, Ryan!
Love your channel Matt.
Thank you Lee!
Sounds look good
Perfect side for Easter Sunday! Also really looking forward to that brisket mac and cheese. Secret ingredient? New seasoning maybe? 😮
Enjoy! (It's another cheese)
@@MeatChurchBBQ you just made me sad and intrigued at the same time. Ha! Looking forward to seeing it, and I'm sure trying it. My youngster is a huge mac and cheese fan.
Just made some. Wow these are awesome!!!
You are fast!
@@MeatChurchBBQ looked too good lol. Plus I had the stuff here. I like a little Louisiana hot sauce on top of mine. Thanks the the idea and recipe. Keep up the good work!
i had no idea about the ice bath, thanks. I always add a lil vinegar to peel them easily.
This is going to be the PERFECT side to go with my double smoked ham, looking forward to this weekend…
1000%
awesome
Those look delicious 😋
They are!
Alright... I haven't even started watching the video. Oh, I will! But just the idea of this is awesome! I will definitely make this for family. I love this channel. 😊
Thanks Jim!!
Wow, can't wait to make these devil eggs!!!
I'll be trying these.
Enjoy!
Looks so good 😊
Thank you 😋
Love the idea, I'm going to try that with smoked eggs instead of the hard boiled.
They are great that way too. I should have mentioned that. I just cut down on the technique to make it more approachable. Enjoy!
Looks Delicious.
Thank you 😋
Matt, can you do a loaded fries video? Brisket chili cheese fries or something would be awesome.
Straight out of a Betty Croker cook book. Boil eggs for 2 full minutes, remove from heat and cover for 15 min. Gotta try this recipe
You had me at Deep Fried! This is the first video of yours I have seen. Subscribed, liked and drooling..... on to watching more of your videos!
deserve a grammy🔥🔥🔥
Very Nice 👍🏼
Yummm! I grew up in Boston, and we always used Hellmann's mayo, but since living in Indiana since 2011, things change, and I'm an official Duke's fan now! I love this, just subbed, and Deviled eggs have always been my favorite too around the holidays, and sometimes whenever! I could also eat the whole dozen if someone doesn't pry me away lol. Thanks, and Happy Easter! Edit: you mentioned pork panko, but I'm a fan of chicharrones, so I finely blend them to use as breading for a low carb meal. 😉
I grew up in a Hellmann's house hold. I heard of Dukes long time ago, but wasn't sold in my area. Then one day I was grocery shopping and saw it on the shelf. I grabbed some and haven't gone back to Hellmann's since.
I hate Mirclewhip mayo!🤢
@DNA39 same here, hun. Never was a fan of miracle whip.
Hey I made this yesterday for mother's day. I didn't put the brisket in it be cause it was still cooking. I did however dice up some jalapeño and put that I. DUDE!!! Thanks for a great one Matt
Awesome
Nice! Never thought about deep frying a deviled egg.
It's so good!
That looks GOOD!
Thanks Patrick!
OMG these look so yummy.❤❤❤
It was awesome!!! Great idea!!
Glad you liked it!!
Gotta try this. Can't wait to see next weeks video. During one of the covid shutdowns we had a family gathering (Shame right? Nah.) and I smoked pork belly burnt ends then we sliced em in half and put them in an HEB frozen mac n cheese. It's been requested many many times since.
Sounds great!
Something new to try, thanks
Hope you enjoy.
"Egg on egg action"...hilarious! I was thinking about the irony of the breading station, and whether or not you would be dipping hard boiled eggs in beaten eggs, and there it was. Not a deviled egg fan, but I can appreciate the twist. Happy Easter, Matt.
It felt odd but it worked. :)
gotta try this, probably going to whenever i feel like lol
Love Devil Eggs will try for sure
This is the kind of dish that takes the spotlight.
I wrote down your recipe & Im making the deep fried deviled eggs for Easter....THANK YOU! 🥚
Hope you enjoy!
Killer recipe- 👊
I like an olive with a deviled egg. Been wanting to add some ham cubes too. I'll have to try this with that.
Certified Gold!!!!!!
Thank you!
LOVE MEAT CHURCH!! My one step addition we do it with our deviled eggs is smoke them. I would add in make your hard eggs then cold smoke the whites 10 minutes possibly more (depending what you smoke with). I will FOR SURE be trying this though!!
Def can smoke them. They are good that way. I was trying to make this more approachable. Cheers.
