I have known Debbie for about 30 years. Met her because I was her moms hairstylist. She is the absolute most giving, kind person I have ever or will ever know
I have many pieces from her
AqY
really? I guess having an affair with a married man is ok in your books! NOT MINE1
I have several ppl who I'm related to that have gotten tattoos from him and was good friends with him. It's such a sad story.
@@lorrainem1870these comments be like yeah adults having sex with high schoolers is cool when u do tattoos
@@ngd223she didn't say anything actually happened when she was 16 except an attraction. If I heard correctly she said they got married when she was 21 after they had been together for 3 years so the math on that would mean she was 18 when they actually got together.
I started crying so hard when she describes seeing her son as an angel with his wings wrapped around her mother. So beautiful.
It's a shame people think it's ok to own large wild animals. It's cruel to keep an animal in a cage that's supposed to have a territory of a 30 mile radius. Especially when it's not a zoo or a animal sanctuary for sick or injured animals.
I agree with you. That got to me a bit
So unfair to those innocent animals.
Debbie - i could listen to you all day. Thanks for sharing your story. Your spirit shines big time💕
Hell yes, Dangerous Deb! Would love to see you talk to more old school tattooers, so much fascinating history and stories to be told from these legends of the tat game.
There’s one from a few months or so ago. Freddy Negrete. Really great ep.
I remember seeing pictures of Debbie when I started started getting tattooed in late 90s/early 2000's and she blew my mind! I wanted to look like her and be a tattoo artist too. good to see her still holding it down - thanks for sharing!
I really found listening to her stories fascinating. Mark, you have an ability to find the most interesting people. Too bad it was so hot in the shop. I felt maybe the session was cut a little short, maybe, because you wanted to get the hell out of there because of the heat. I could have listened to her ramble on for twice as long. Thanks for another look into the "Soft White Underbelly" of life. This time in Gary, Indiana. Love you and all the Underbelly Family. Big shoutout from this old, longhaired, country boy, here, in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Much peace, love and happiness to you all.. See ya on the next. Later.
To whoever is reading this keep going, you're doing fine! No matter how slow your progress, each new week is filled with tiny steps forward. Be proud of yourself you got this! ❤
Thank you, very humbly. That whoever is me...I'm whoever💜🙌
Very slow progress but I’m getting there. Thank you for the encouraging words. ❤

You're not alone
💜🙏 I hope you have a great day, Janetwentz❤
Thank you, I have a 9 month old son and weve been up at 3am the last 9 days...but this wont last forever
Im in a waiting room for an MRI. Thanks for reminding me. Yes it's all temporary. ❤
I'm so sorry about your son, Debbie 😢You're a strong woman, and thank you for sharing your story with us ❤
Keeping exotic/wild animals as pets is cruel. Let's not glamorize that.
I live in Illinois. I’m 25 now but I’ve been getting tattoos since the minute I turned 18. Debbie if you’re reading this I would love to come get a tattoo from you. This channel has been a huge part of my life since it started. Thank you so much for sharing and putting yourself out there ❤
Yes I can tattoo you
@@debracooper9962great interview. I really enjoyed it. I’m terrified of one of my sons dying. I don’t think I would live through it I don’t think I will be able. 🥲🥲🥲
I can't imagine the pain of losing your son. Thank you for sharing, Debbie!
I do, I lost my 23 year old son in 2010 due to complications from hitting a hole in the road with his motor cycle. Took 7 years to live normal again. I'm not a party person, Don't think it would help. GOD with us all. I saw my son on my wall 2 times in the same place eating unleavened bread with JESUS.
❤ beautiful
Debbie is a very interesting person with lots of interesting stories to tell. Thanks for the video, Mark.
This was one of the best interviews, to me, so far! I wish Debbie would write a book. Such an interesting life. Amazingly strong woman to be able to endure the loss of her son. The picture of her tattooing her father is priceless. Debbie's life has been like a puzzle and slowly the pieces all came together to form a masterpiece. ❤❤❤
It would be an entertaining read
Speaking of Karma … that was the most cruel comment ever.
@@jacquelynndee4321 I agree. I've been trying to not comment . People are so fuckin mean, its sad.
She did write a book, with an actual writer. I was so interested in her life that I googled her. There's lots of information on her, Roy Boy and their son out there. The name of the book is something like The King and Queen of the Badlands. Lots of pictures too.
@@lisahamrick4061 thank you
This lady is badass!! Thanks these more “professional” interviews lately, I love hearing about peoples’ passions, on top of their life story 😊
I can listen to Debbie talk about their stories for HOURS.. I remember "Roy Boy" stories, he was somewhat of a legend here in Maine. Thank you Debbie ❤ Sorry for your Losses! 😢😢
She is so interesting and you can tell that despite what he put her through she loves Roy. I love that she was laughing through her stories as she was reliving the memories. Great interview.
WOW!!! Debbie’s story has to be the most adventurous one I have ever heard.🤩
Love Debbie’s energy. Lovely woman. Wish her and her group much success in the museum.
I’ve probably seen 80% of your interviews and this is easily the best one. I love you Debbie! Keep going, never stop!
Roy Boy and Debbie are absolute legends! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her a couple times because a friend of mine helped produce a book telling the story of Roy. Roy was very ahead of his time and was larger than life. It’s a really crazy story. Glad to know she’s doing well.
This one is making me ill, let me see if I have this straight, “Roy Boy” started grooming a high schooler as a married 36 year old man, desecrated human remains because they were on some farmers land, I’m sorry but just because you don’t know that persons identity doesn’t mean their remains are yours to use as a prop in photos, kept big cats and other exotic animals in a cage for his own amusement… in short, disgusting. Debbie you deserved better than this creep and falling into his web as a literal child
She had a really amazing story to tell. Looking at someone you never know their story. Amazing. Thanks Mark! ❤
And THATS one reason I love this channel ❤
Just read the encouraging
message. Feel like a
rurtle moving forward,
but at least moving.Thank
you and♥️
Debbie, I lost my son 3 years ago and you're right, your whole life changes. And our hearts...it is truly a real pain that's from a broken heart. Thank you for sharing your interesting life!
If there were academy awards for TH-cam channels…this soft white underbelly would be a nominee.
Debbie, you are by far my favorite guest on Mark's show. You are amazing. Your stories are a joy to listen to. You just give off a vibe 😊 I think some of you rubbed off on me. As far as I can see, you are having a life well lived ❤🎉
Loved this interview! I hope you have her back!
Awesome interview! I'd love to hear more! I think we just got the highlights and she's still got lots of stories!
Another great video, Mark. Thank you. All of your guests have interesting stories to tell, and Debbie is certainly no exception
Life tried to burn this woman’s spirit -
But forged under fire- she’s a woman of steel
With a compassion
And softness
Blessings Debbie ,‘you are a gift
Beautifully put

My heart felt the loss of her son . My heart goes out to any momma that loses a child .
She seems so kind and understanding
Dangerous Deb! What a guest, tattooist have some interesting tales.
My condolences about your son. 😔💜
Debbie, I am so sorry for the loss of your son Cody. I really enjoyed your story. I am not a girl who ever wanted a tattoo. But, if I change my mind I would be honored for you to do it. Happy Birthday. Take Care.
Out of all the stories I've heard by tattooists, this has been the best. It can be such a crazy lifestyle.
Great interview Mark! She’s awesome! More interviews like this please. 👍
What a cool woman! Loved hearing her story. She should absolutely write a book with pictures. Id buy it. I also want a tattoo from her!
Interesting interview, Debbie. A life lived consciously is so amazing and I appreciate hearing every person's unique experiences. Best wishes for you reaching your business goals. My favorite part of your interview was hearing about your son, Cody. I cannot put into words how losing your son must have felt. I had shivers down the back of my neck and down my spine when you explained the angelic appearance, Hallelujah, Just WoW! You are protected and watched over...😇😇😇🤗🤗🤗 God Bless!!! ❤

I'd love to see/hear more of her story maybe a part 2. She is very interesting ❤
What a wonderful woman! I'm not really into tattoos, but I want to get one of her designs on my body. Thanks Mark, for this interview.
She is really cool and down to earth. I like the way she chuckles, looking back on all of the shennanagins...tho at the time im sure she was pissed. I can tell life has humbled her. Rip to her son.
One of my favorite interviews !
passing through the great lakes this past summer on a motorcycle trip to milwaukee and one of my friends said “we need to stop in gary and see my friend dangerous deb!”
deb and her crew at the badlands showed us so much hospitality. it was like we were family by the time we were ready to roll out of town.
sit down, shut up, don’t move. it’s time to get a tattoo.
Wow I could listen to her talk all day!! What a great interview! I would love her for a Auntie!
loved this interview
We need more videos of Deb and her stories
What an awesome life! The ups the downs feeling every minute. Never boring! I love her energy and positivity. Life well lived Debbie! Rip Roy Boy and Cody! ❤
That was fun. Sorry for the loss of your son, I can't imagine what's that really like and obviously it took you time to come back but sounds like you are on a great trajectory now and your spirit is intact.
Thanks for this Mark and special thanks to Debbie for telling her story. Debbie you have many interesting stories and seem to have a kind heart. I’d like to meet you if I ever make it stateside again!

Ever notice smart people never own wild animals ?
For all tragedies and great times for Debbie, she has the most cheerful personality. What a beautiful soul. Wishing Debbie peace and fulfillment from this point. Thanks for sharing Debbie and Mark as well.
Such a great interview!❤
Debbie, you are awesome! What a wild life you have had, thus far! I loved hearing your stories. The loss of your son though, i am so sorry. I cant imagine♥️
Captivating! Thank you so much for sharing. I can only imagine the pure joy and excitement of expecting a baby while simultaneously grieving the loss of having to re-home your most favorite beloved grizzly bear. Lol…so many bitter sweet and wild memories. I could listen to her all day. She should write a memoir .
Nooooo suffering does not captivate me
I loved this interview, Debbie seems like a really interesting person . I wanna listen to more of her story, and also, I love her tattoos keep fighting Debbie!! ❤❤❤
Loved this one. I knew Deb would be a fun, interesting & relatable gal.
I want to go on a road trip and come get a tatt and visit. This was not enough. Great interview Debbie 🏆
What a life !! I could listen to her stories all day . ❤
I got tattooed by deb not too long ago. Last year maybe. As a a tattooer it meant the world to me. Debbie is apart of a dying breed of tattooer. Mark if you see this somehow you need to come to Fort Wayne Indiana and interview wild man at wildmans. A true old school tattooer
I wish we could buy these portraits that you take. They are so amazing and my favorite parts of the videos when I watch them.
You might get your wish. Did you check out Mark's other project, Created Equal? If not, please do.
No way dude it’s dangerous deb cooper an absolute legend in the tattoo world
Thanks for sharing your story Debbie!
What an amazing lady! I used to collect the tattoo mags back n the 80s n I remember her as a young heavily tatted women posing with the animals. What a great lady she is n she is so so smart to stay away from the heavy drugs! I loved this interview! God bless her!
Loved your interview Debbie!
Sounds like you had a nervous breakdown Deb. So sorry you had to go through so much. God bless you. Thanks Mark!

This gal thrives on the drama.
Your stories are crazy! I have been sat, mesmerised listening to your life story ❤ you are one remarkable lady! Ain’t nothing gonna keep ye down! Hearing you say, “Ah, this is a wild one…”, you know it’s gonna be a good un! ❤ you need to get your memories written down, lovely lady 😊
As a tattoo artist 33 years, I can absolutely relate to her story. And for any haters out there, back in those days people didn't condemn girls dating adult men when they were 16. It wasn't taboo.
I was married at 19 to my wife who was 16.
I, too, was alive back then and it's absolutely not true that society didn't frown on a 36 year old married man having sex with a 16 year old girl. In fact, contributing and statutory rape crimes were actually prosecuted back then. It WAS taboo. A 16 year old and a 19 year old, not as much, obviously, but it even then it was not considered a great idea. What world do you/did you live in?
@@Silversmoke1000 the real one. One where I actually married her. And uhm.... I wasn't 36
@@Tinman69 I was clearly referring to Roy Boy.
@@Silversmoke1000 Lol thanks. I had no idea he was that old when he was seeing her at just 16. I guess I didn't hear that part ewww.
What a story, such a fighter and someone who really enjoyed life, took it by the horns. I applaud you, half of us are to scared to try anything new. Yes yes yes your stories would make an amazing book, do it!! Thanks for sharing. ❤
He really was an amazing person. RIP Roy boy
I love your transparency Deb thanks for keeping it real. You are such a sweetheart and I love being in your presence. I am happy to say that you tattooed your name on me because you are a legend and such a loving woman. Thank you for sharing your story and opening up to the world about you and your family. I respect you for everything that you have been through in life because you are still standing. I am impressed with this interview because I have heard stories about Roy and Cody but you tell the real story with feeling behind it. You ROCK DEB‼️🦾
❤
I loved the interview. She has had a very exciting life. Roy Boy was a character! He reminds me of my cousin: excitement seeking.
Debbie keeping it real for all these years!
