BIG SHOUT OUT TO FREDDY! Thank you Mark for inviting the Legend on for an interview.
I’ve known Freddy for over a decade personally and also knew his son Boo Boo. I must personally say that Freddy is an exemplary individual who’s inspired many of us not only through his kindness, but incredible strength. God Bless 🙏🏼

Congrats on your sobriety. I’m an addict on the streets of NYC. Over the past 2 months I’ve been slowly weaning myself down from a 2g a day habit to a .03g a day now. Real heroin is all but gone from the US and I’m not a fan of fentanyl, but now that tranq sh** is finally hitting NYC too now and I want no part of it. So for the first time in my life I’m serious about getting clean.

Freddy is an incredible person: He tatted a gorgeous portrait of my Mom on my arm who passed away from Cancer in 2018. She and I lived in San Gabriel (where Freddy is from) for several years after my Dad passed away.
I’ve gotten to interact with Freddy several times and he is so humble, kind, smart, and unbelievably gifted. Despite the unimaginable obstacles he has endured, he is truly so patient and so respectful toward everyone. People in Shamrock always ask to take a photo with him and he always kindly obliges.
Grateful that he is being given platforms to share his powerful story. True LA legend.
So much love and respect for Freddy. 🙌🏼

Many years ago someone I loved died. He was all buff and muscular, worked out a lot. He was so handsome, so smart, very articulate. He hid his addiction well. He died alone in a hotel room of a heroin overdose at the age of 38. He was not a homeless killer or bad man. He was a father, son, brother but he had a dark secret….drug use he tried to hide from everyone. Every time they do that drug they say play Russian roulette and sooner or later it’s going to get them. Prison or death, that’s all drugs & alcohol addiction brings. Here we are 20 years later, and I still think about him. All the what if’s…
Please seek help if you’re struggling. Do it for yourself, do it for those who love you.

There was a Tattoo convention in Serbia, Novi Sad. I think it was 2015. The convention was visited by Mexican artists, who really were good. Back then my ex-boyfriend bought a bag full of candies and gave one of customer, who was getting Tattoo and came together with a Mexican Tattoo crew. I will never forget the way he grab the bag and eat those candies, 'cause he was so sweating of tattooing 😂 😂😂

I’ve met Freddy. Good guy. His son tattooed me in a video probably 10 years ago or so. He was a sweet guy too. He mentioned my friend Kate who passed (Shanghai Kate). I’m happy to hear his higher power story. Very rough life, but so uplifting to see how he’s come out on the other side. 🙌🏻❤️‍🩹
