At 5:52 you mention it's possible to lose signal or have issues if too many people are connected to the DME. I'd never really thought about how DME works, but figured it was more of a passive broadcast. (I'm not a real-life pilot). Reading more now. Fascinating!
If you want to pretend to be English at any time, simply pronounce ‘Norwich’ as “Norridge” (don’t drag out the O). Oh and I loved doing radio nav in my PPL, problem with the UK is it’s not big enough and has not many VORs to be interesting.
Thank you for all these videos. Over this weekend I managed to remember enough to perform my first ILS landing using the C172 with the G1000.
Thank you for the excellent refresher! The wind correction tips are super useful 🙂

Good video You know what's fun too is doing an ILS with the steam gauge instruments and putting the weather with bad visibility
Fisher’s Island! Much more famous in my profession for the golf course. Love flying in and out of here on the sim.
I got bit by that mixture bug the other night, too. Pretty obnoxious, since I don't currently have an axis bound to mixture.
You did bust the delta airspace lol 😆 I don't think they will mind
Great Video. Thanks
Excellemt thanks for sharing
