How to Repair the Screen on an iPhone 6S (Complete Guide)

As part of my series on how to help you stop paying stupid amounts of money for people to repair your iPhone for you, here's how to repair the screen on the iPhone 6S. So long as you get a kit with all the tools needed, it's not as difficult as it sounds. The biggest pain is to have to remove all the components on the old screen and transfer them to the new screen, but if you're patient you'll be fine.
Now, I used a specific kit for this video that I've linked to below, but feel free to look online for other kits. So long as they come with all the tools and are a good quality screen, this video will work regardless. Without further ado, here's the step by step process for replacing the iPhone 6S screen.

So im repairing a screen from my old phone (iphone 6s) and when i was disconnecting the screen at the top of the phone i accidently ripped the smallest vertical ribbon piece and it no longer connects when i put it back together is there anyway to fix this?

Well, I'M having trouble with a stripped screw, it was stripped in the phone. It doesn't want be come out. So much for trying to save money.looks like I'm going to have to take it to Apple and have them fix the screw and put on a new screen. Nice video by the way.

make sure to *DISCONNECT* the battery before removing the display as the backlight’s fuse is likely to blow/fry on the motherboard. This will cause your iPhone’s display to have no light illuminating it/thus needing a bright flashlight to see the screen rendering the phone *unusable.*
