    When the bulging disc bothers you no matter how careful you are.
    When the wrist you sprained 5 years ago somehow starts to hurt more.

    I’m not in the plumbing business, but in another home service business and one time I was working at a professional athletes house and I asked him. When did he know he was the fastest, He told me in high school I knew I was the fastest
    I think a lot of the same with Work when you know you’re the fastest a.k.a. the best then it’s time to start your own business. Kind of what brassman said about being proven and trustworthy and knowing your skill level .

    I just got my master plumbing license and started my company in July but, I’m still working full-time. I have just started doing service plumbing for a commercial GC on the side but, the last job I completed they said my pricing was too low. Thank goodness they were honest with me but, I’m needing help on how to price for commercial service work.

    Man just came across your channel, loving the straight honesty. I am in the process of getting my electrical license and would love to be able to pick your brain here and there... Would you be cool with emailing you maybe later to touch base. Really looking for someone to help/teach me how to get or find jobs once i get going and how to do this thing legit from the rip . Thanks man and keep up the good work. 👍

    I'll be going through all of your videos starting now, but I was wondering if you could maybe do something about how to learn the accounting/pricing side of things if your current manager wants to prevent you from learning from them.

      @@danielyoungblood3137 I did it a lot for a while. I didn’t like it and wouldn’t say it’ll be the best for you unless you’re really trying to move up at the company you’re at now and they require that in order to advance. Living out of a suitcase get really old really quick.

    How quickly did you hire your first guy? Im 2 months in on my own over here in Albuquerque, one man show, doing service and remodels mostly averaging about 15k a month. How do i scale this shit?

    • @brasshouse-og
      @brasshouse-og  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Plumbinghvacr I hired my first guy about a week into it. I sold like 12-13k or so my first week and had a buddy that needed a job and he helped me out. Then about a month after that I hired my father in law and 2 other plumbers I knew to go do sub work for another company. Then just got busier and busier and kept having to hire. For me the secret sauce was high volume customers. I deal with people who buy a lot of plumbing on a regular basis. Property management companies, facilities directors, plant managers, JOC pms etc. I’ve got 5 customers that give me 80% of my work

    If you ever find yourself with some extra time, you should consider becoming a business teacher. I had a teacher who reminds me a lot of you-someone I respect. He was young, cool, and incredibly supportive, always ready to give us a much-needed reality check. He wasn’t afraid to speak his mind, regardless of the consequences, because he believed in doing what he considerd right, even if it meant risking his job "cuz hes rich asf he doesn't care lmao".
