It’s every two seasons, not every season. One and two. Three and four. Now five and six. But yes you’re absolutely right! Each group has been astounding.
Agreed. They really did go out and get the best the British acting community has to offer in almost every regard. Highly impressive how much talent resides in such a small area.
@@Mb-eo6bg Imelda Staunton is an amazing actress and I’m sure she will play the role perfectly, especially to people who have never seen HP. As someone who also has though I fully agree lol. It’s the voice for me! I immediately hear Umbridge.
Can we just give a round of applause to whoever's in charge of casting bc MY GOD! Blur your eyes and the real person is right there in front of you. It's that accurate, you'd feel like you're looking into the past. But I know this season is gonna end on a heartbreaking note with Dianna's death in 97. The one death that stopped the entire world.
Fun story about Diana’s “revenge dress” at 1:13-initially, she hadn’t been planning to go to that event she’s attending, but then she got word that Prince Charles’s biography was going to be airing that night. So at the last minute, she decided to go the gallery opening in a bold black dress she’d never worn in order to knock him off the front pages. The papers the next day showed the now iconic dress with the headline, “The thrilla he left to woo Camilla”.
@@Artemisss1 It might be petty, but it didn’t actually hurt anyone-it’s not like Charles came to any harm by being on page 6 of the paper instead of page 1.
The 3rd episode was really something special. The actor playing Dodi's father was incredible. The close relationship between father and son and the machinations of the Fayeds trying to cozy up to the Royals. The Bahamian (Jamaican?) butler etc.
What I really enjoy the most was the charming of Diana's jokes, the performance it's very fresh, sexy and sweet exactly the way how we imagine her on real life
They should've done the exact same trailer but replaced the actress for Camilla, with the actress who plays Camilla in 'The Windsors' (maybe for red nose day/aprils fools)
Nothing will beat Claire Foy. Diana is easier to portray imo as she’s such a big personality and had so much coverage of her life - on a personal level - that it’s easier to access her as a character. But doing the young queen properly (with such limited references and footage) is a whole other type of achievement and can only be done by someone as talented as Foy. Still don’t think she’s got enough credit for just how good she was.
@@n_sn_s5470 i absolutely LOVED Claire Foy and i have no words. I believe Diana's portrayal would be harder to nail for the exact same reasons you mentioned, there are ever so many footages and videos of her irl and so many past portrayals of her that leaves a lot of room for comparison and criticism. While for the young queen, there were little to no clips of her - which means if mistakes were made , theres some chance they might be overlooked. Both of them are phenomenal❤️✨️
The version of Bittersweet Symphony (one of my all time favorite songs) playing in the background is just phenomenal! Diana saying “You mean staying silent”, sent chills down my spine. This trailer (just like Season 4’s) is Award worthy!
The physical resembles between the actresses and the real Diana and Camilla were spot on! The Bittersweet Symphony fits really well here. The song realesed in the same year Diana died.
The shot of Elizabeth Debicki as Diana entering the car had me believing that she was the real Diana for a second ( 0:50 ). Also Imelda Stauton nailed the looks and voice of late Queen Elizabeth II. So excited for this season
I had to watch it twice as it was crazy how much Diana looked actually like Diana. That shot of Charles and Camilla at the fireworks, holy, does she ever look exactly like Camilla! I agree with you that Imelda nailed the look at voice. Amazing acting this upcoming season.
Holy mother of god!!! Elizabeth Debicki is the total reincarnation of Diana here; the tone, speech pattern, the posture, the mannerisms, everything is absolutely slam dunk impeccable. I'm afraid, sis is coming for that Emmy.
I love the contrast between seasons. From the last season of painting Diana as a simple yet dazzling, unappreciated woman, to the new season a complex and dazzling vengeful queen. Sort of a protagonist to a little bit of an antagonist.
Really hope they make Diana much more than just a Cinderella but a Cinderella with a Cunning and relentless PR revelations that was humiliating the family at every front of the PR between the people and the house of Windsor.
I think they hardly painted her as simple…although to me she was (as the actress) rather simple and plain looking. The Brits to me have always made much to do about nothing over di who was rather vanilla in all aspects. Hell she wasn’t even a commoner, plucked into royalty like a rags to riches story we all love. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth-GASP, a socialite with a proximity to royals through their social circles ends up marrying a prince!? That’s not luck, that’s the convenience of aristocratic society.
Don't know if you've seen the season yet, but they really play into the anti-hero thing. Margaret really confronts her sister and straight up villainizes her in a scene. Don't know how accurate it is, but it's interesting.
The makeup artists and the costume designers have done a fantastic job in this series. It seems that they can make the dead person alive through make up and costumes. Huge round of applause for those crew members. They have a great contribution in making this series remarkable.
@@ericasimonson8737 absolutely. Acting is really important but apart from the actors the crew members who worked hard behind the screen to make this series amazing, deserve recognition and appreciation.
I grew up in the 90s and I met Princess Diana in school, I live and was born in Cornwall and she was our duchess... A queen in our eyes. Our generation and older knew who she was and don't need a programme to know. She was an everyday part of our lives here in the uk and she's still terribly missed. Charles will never be forgiven for what he did to her
I like King Charles very much. But I have to agree him marrying a vulnerable person of 19 was ill judged and cruel as it turned out. Diana wad kind, hard working and deeply caring. The very beet of British. She may havd been nieve but she deserved much more understanding and kindness from the establishment
Charles was sort of pushed into marrying Diana by both Buckingham Palace as well as Number 10 Downing Street. The Royals wanted him married off because he was the heir to the throne. Number 10(Thatcher) wanted a royal marriage in order to distract the British public from the horrible economy and Thatchers cutting back of social programs people had come to rely on because there were few jobs available. There were dozens of riots in many of the cities in the UK and it had gotten so bad that in some cases the police wanted to start carrying guns. A huge Royal wedding would have been a source of temporary jobs as well as a distraction from the issues of the day(Bad economy, terrorism, strikes, ect). Besides, Charles still loved Camilla but could not marry her. I’m not excusing what Charles and Diana did to each other but basically it was an arranged marriage that ended badly as well as tragically.
The Bittersweet symphony as a main theme of this snapshot is so much accurate 😭 whoever came up with this idea deserves standing ovations... Can't wait to see the entire season 5 😍😍
The casting are insanely good, the cinematography looks fantastic and the music that tied this whole trailer is incredibly well-thought of. Truly the one series and season to not miss
I am sobbing after watching the "Ipatiev house" episode. My gratitude to everyone who has worked on this season for portraying the Romanovs and the historical intricacy surrounding this family. Love from Russia, Saint Petersburg.
I thought this after the Queens death, I said to Woody “I’ll keep going until the end, and I will never give up on you Woody”. He found that very powerful that he almost cried. Even my mother heard my words to Woody and she also cried her eyes out. I think I’m the new Princess Diana
sue did go in the end… too bad she was so vindictive. you cant fight love, its a sin. Charles did try but he loved another. I am all for love, i feel sad for Diana but lets be honest she dod not love Charles ether
Western intelligence got her in the end. The real paparazzi had nothing to do with Princess Diana´s death. It was the illigiitmate paparazzi, that chased Princess Diana´s Mecedes, down the Expressway, from Place de La Concorde -and into the Alma Tunnel. They were intelligence service agents masquarading as the real paparazzi. I can tell you how I think it was done. Oh......and co-incidentally and very conveniently, the cameras down the Expressway, at La Place de La Concorde and also inside the Alma Tunnel - you guessed it - didnt work on the night in question. What a convenient co-incidence. Really? The claim that the cameras inside the Alma Tunnel, didnt work, has been refuted. So............I can tell you how I think this assassination was executed, if your interested.
@@tadejau3325 i think its hard to love someone who gives you every reason not to. After causing her mental illness its true i think she grew to resent him.
Charles saying "Her Glories Belong To The Past, And the World Will Move On" while the British flag is folded in rainy Hong Kong is honestly a tingling moment. Props to Netflix for adding it into the trailer.
Yes, I've enjoyed the running theme through the series of the waning power and influence and how the various administrations have struggled with becoming more and more insignificant on the world stage. It's great to see they aren't shying away from that in later seasons either.
Everyone is focusing on the Diana bits, which is fine, but moments like the handover in Hong Kong are just as important to the overall running themes of The Crown and what really makes this show click. The show is coming to an end, the British Empire comes to an end alongside it. Brilliant. I know people want it to keep going, but better to quit while ahead than drag on and on and on and lose its integrity.
No matter what you thought of this season, no one can deny that Johnny Lee Miller, who played John Major, killed it in this season. That ending monologue in Episode 1 gave me the chills - it was masterful.
Ok but Imelda Staunton got the queens voice so on point I legit thought it was a recording in the first few seconds. I am beyond thrilled for this season!
Just finished watching. Must say that the actress who played Diana was so amazing it felt so original. Definitely the best one among all the actresses that have played her till now. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely NOT. The Crown is about the winner takes it all. It´s about the winners. Princess Diana lost in a staged car crash. And that's how NETFLIX justifies the denigration of Princess Diana's memory!
This looks bloody fantastic. Brilliant casting as always. The whole new cast looks amazing. I already see them sweeping the Emmys, SAGs & Golden Globes. I am a 90s kid & Princess Diana's death legit was one of those pivotal moments I can remember so vividly in my head. I cannot wait till this drops. I will binge the whole series. Well done Netflix once again.
What's great about this series, that every season has different cast, yet it feels right, it feels natural and needed to have different actors for different eras.
It's pretty amazing! The only transition that seemed off to me was the Queen Mother from Season 2 to 3. The second actress seemed to play her very differently - a bit giddy or goofy. Although I really don't know which was more accurate! (Victoria Hamilton --> Marion Bailey)
@@ericasimonson8737 I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that it could be that the first 2 seasons were when the Queen Mother was adjusting to her losing a husband, losing her place as Queen consort, and figuring out what to do after that. Seasons 2 and 3 seemed like she finally moved on and simply enjoyed her life with her family. It just seemed that way to me.
A while ago I was thinking what music they should use for the season 5 trailer and I was hoping they will use Bitter Sweet Symphony. I Can’t wait to watch season 5
What I find impressive about this series is that even though most of the real life family drama was hidden from us, it still manages to be as personal, monumental and dramatic as possible. It's a strong family drama that works in the context of the true events.
*Imelda Staunton is a great actress. I remember when she played Dolores Umbridge. She's surpassed expectations. She made Dolores Umbridge the most hated character even more than the Dark Lord himself!!*
She has 40+ years of acting under her belt and several awards and gets identified by a side character in movies that are shown on repeat on Nerd Central. I absolutely get why Alec Guiness despised Star Wars.
I've been watching this series with my parents & our generational differences are part of what makes the watch so interesting. The first 2 seasons were before either of my parents were born, so those seasons feel more like history to them. Then seasons 3 & 4 started going into events they actually lived through (my mum told me about living through the blackouts when she was a little girl). Then season 5 ends around when I was born. Everything I've seen feels like history to me, but for my parents, some of these events depicted make up their past.
Looks like Imelda already won all the awards with this trailer. What a great acting! It was not easy to play Queen Elizabeth II. Many great actresses played her and won Oscar, Emmys, Baftas etc. Casting director needs to be applauded.
Imelda is a brilliant and astounding actress, I can’t wait for people who know her just through Harry Potter to witness her serious talent and acting chops!
Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Elizabeth Debicki, Dominic West and Lesley Manville. The Crown always gets incredible talent to play these people and they always knock it out of the park so I'm incredibly excited to see how everyone does this season
I was only 5 years old when Princess Di passed away and even without truly understanding, an innocent child across the pond, felt the loss the world was feeling. She is the reason I ended up watching this series to begin with. She was captivating to every age of the people and I think that shows how intense her life and soul was. This season looks so epic- I must have watched this trailer nearly 30 times, already. And even apart from the Queen just passing, this season will surely be the most controversial yet. For some reason, this just brings so much more intensity and heightened curiosity for this chapter. This was the shift and the change of the monarchy and one woman felt the courage to release it all.
As someone who lived through that time I am old and experienced enough to see a different perspective. I worry that a new generation will take this as a true account of what happened back then.
They have nailed it when choosing this season’s actresses specifically Camila and Diana characters. I can’t wait to start watching this season tomorrow!
I don't blame Camilla nor Charles! They truly loved each other. But the fall out was Diana, who became broken, seriously frightened and paranoid. Poor girl should have got a kinder, better outcome in life
well they blew it on Charles-clearly someone is sucking up to him. They have continually been bending the whole narrative by making Charles a handsome guy played by actors that literally look nothing like him. Like the OJ movie where Oj is shorter than his weasel but licker, robert kardashian. Oj was a good foot taller and 100lbs heavier than that little fame suck up "lawyer" he had hide his bag with all the evidence. the physical dynamic should never be compromised.
Nope. The Crown is about the winner takes it all. It´s about the winners. Princess Diana lost in a staged car crash. And that's how NETFLIX justifies the denigration of Princess Diana's memory! Assholes.
@@line_frank I think it’s a mark of how formidable an actress she is that after all those years her depiction of Umbridge still haunts us 😅 I heard she is a very sweet person so it must have been hard work for her.
In retrospect: this trailer was so good…and the part where Imelda said “as future king” my God…I think what made this season so “bittersweet” was the return of the show after the Queens passing…definitely made this a must see
In the first clip of Diana in the rear view mirror I got goosebumps. Looks exactly like her. I will never forget being up @ 5 AM feeding my newborn son when the news broke here in the US. I loved Diana and this actress is really striking. Good casting, and the song is brilliant.
This cover of bittersweet symphony is beautiful and very representative of the music of the UK in the mid 90s to the very early 2000s, a big era for British music. It's a perfect description of Diana's life. A bittersweet symphony. She was here, she captivated men and women the world over, monarchy lovers or not, helped so many and had an aurora of sophistication, then in a blink she was gone. A symphony that cut off too soon. A life too short. Forever young. One of the most famous women of the modern age, someone who's legacy will live on in history books long after the people of this era are dead.
Try to make ends meet, you’re a slave to money, then you die. I dunno. Brilliant trailer and I adore that song just not one I would associate with someone that privileged. Can’t wait to see what other 90s British musical classics work their way into the season though.
Regardless of its controversies and the reception of this season, this show will go down as one of the greatest TV series of this generation and a secure top 3 historical drama series and the show that actually gave Netflix the acclaim it deserves.
@@inigobantok1579 The Crown is huge, don't get me wrong. But what I am saying is a fact. Open any book about streaming platforms and you'll see what I am saying. House of Cards made Netflix what it is today. It put Netflix on the map and made tons of subscriptions. Even the sound of Netflix is based on Frank Underwood's knock.
So I’ve watched this hundreds of times already. I am obsessed! But does anyone else think that this has a cinematic quality to it? The previous season trailers are fantastic too but they feel like they are for tv series. This feels like a movie…and an Oscar contender at that.

The sound and look of Season 5 is luxurious, elegant and completely compelling. Watched first 2 episodes and am impressed with the thoughtful writing. Praise praise praise!
Oh my! Season 5 looks like a real rollercoaster. I mean it covers the '95 Lady Di's BBC interview and her revenge dress moment! At last, Imelda Staunton is gonna receive the global recognition she deserves. Can't wait!
I agree except for one thing: Imelda Staunton ALREADY HAS the global recognition she deserves. Amongst other roles, she was Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter and almost everybody knows about that role and that franchise.
@@dianamagritte yeah definitely, it's just that she's not that widely known except from her Umbridge role, even if she was an Oscar nominee long before. I think that her role as the Queen will elevate her in the way Downton Abbey worked for Maggie Smith, if you know what I mean.
Yeah it annoys me so much when an actor has been doing quality work for decades, yet if they ever did anything in Harry Potter, that's ALL people know them for. Now, however..hopefully Imelda's moment has come :)
Bittersweet Symphony was a genius choice for the editing. Throws me back to the glory days of the 90's Cruel Intentions, deception, scandal and death all in one tiny stanza. Bravo! Elizabeth Debicki is magnificent as Diana, Princess of Wales.
Cinematic masterpiece. Also I'm so very glad they used Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve. They won the royalties of the song just a few years back so using the song in this trailer means they are about to make bank. As a life long fan of the band I'm so happy for them.
@@Bazookatone1 Jagger and Richards gave him their copyrights for the song in 2019. The sample that was used was actually Andrew Loog Oldham’s orchestral version of their song ‘The Last Time’.
The Crown Season 5 looks stunningly eerie with a hint of mystery beneath it. Princess Diana had so much to give to marginalized communities all around the world. She has become an icon that will forever remain a symbol of generosity.
Lol marginalised communities? Charles gave far more to marginalised communities - look at what he did for poor black and Asian neighbourhoods. The legacy lives on. What did she ever do? Pander to media bs. Not actual marginalised communities outside of the privileged gaze.
@@mikeno8192 What? Diana was one of the first people who wasn't guided out of fear of aids. She went to help people who were harmed by land mines un África.
Big difference helping AIDS sufferers in front of cameras to actually assisting marginalised communities in an ongoing sense - actually changing lives. Not just giving teddy bears to sick children and dying ppl
Micah: Diana did not do anything close to what Charles did for any communities - that’s a fact. He’s been doing it for decades, before her and after her
This series is so well done for me it's not just about The Royal Family, we are all watching the history we lived through and what effected us all in our youth. Not only is it a reflection of our lifetime, it includes flashbacks to what we were doing, who we were with and where we are now. it's all history now it's not even what we call past. history takes on a different context
@@Inkpinkierosie I’m British and lived through this history, it has cultural significance to a certain generation, even down to the clothes, the music, how Britain looked, the job centre, the housing, the riots, protest, politics. This series has it all.

@@a.t.c.3862 I agree. Diana was only that thin early in her marriage. By the early 90's she had her bulimia under control. Diana was 5'10" Elizabeth is 6' 2". Emma corrin is 5' 7." So, Emma is actually closer to Diana in height. Even though the 2 women look very different, they both had aspects that remind us of Diana. I think both look more like her than Naomi Watts and Kristen Stewart. Even Naomi and Kristen were better than any form all of godawful Lifetime movies done back in the 90's. so when you look at everything, I think Netflix did as good as any in portraying her. Diana is sort of like Jackie Kennedy or Marilyn Monroe, such a big icon, I doubt anyone could do her real justice.
You can really feel a different vibe compared to the earlier seasons. Maybe it’s the new cast or the fact that the events don’t lie that far in the past, I can’t really tell. Nonetheless I’m extremely excited to see it and will probably binge watch it xD
This show NEVER disappoints whatsoever! Not to mention the unbelievable talent from the actors! I’m so ready for this season! 2 years of waiting are over!
This season left out an important moment in the 90's. They never mentioned the time John Major met with Cornelius Fudge and Rufus Scrimgour to discuss the Wizard wars.

Gotta prepare before I binge watch ***Diana, Bashir, Camilla, Queen, John Major, and Philip, are so perfect **** Cinematography is perfect just a feast for the eyes
This is gonna hit SO hard now Her Majesty’s not here anymore. That shot at the beginning of her standing in the ruins of Windsor Castle made my jaw drop! On a more positive note, at least we can guarantee Imelda Staunton’s going to do a beautiful job of honouring her!
Glad she is not her anymore, now she cannot get hurt like her family is by every season while the public have fun with her family problems, even worse now that people think that is entertaining to relive the worst moment of the life of two people, when two boys lost their mom :)
The comment from Samantha, the purpose of the show is to show the common person the royals are people too and the struggles they each had. And unless you have studied the family and all it’s history you can’t appreciate what they are doing here The royals have given interviews that confirm most of it
After this is over. They should make a spinoff Crown series on Queen Victoria. The 2 longest ruling monarchs in british history and both were Queens. Both had somewhat similar trials and tribulations during their reign. It would make a fantastic show especially under Peter Morgans brilliant vision.
@@michaelstastny I’m English and she sounds very different. Even Olivia Coleman’s performance as the queen was really off (in terms of voice and accent). They’re all OUTSTANDING performances, but in terms of actual closeness to the real thing, I’d say the S3 & 4 Charles and maybe Diana & Phillip is the closest. Foy was also amazing as the young queen (although it’s harder to verify since there isn’t much footage of that time that can be referenced) and the closest out of the three queen actresses so far, especially with her voice.
It's crazy how from what we've seen so far, it almost resembles an action/ horror movie then shifts into almost a psychological thriller with things all over the place, things on fire, yelling and multiple scenes of people with a look of distress in thr,. This was how Diana was feeling every day of her life along with Charles living two lives, and the strict nature of the Royal Family. Phillip literally says, "It's a system, for better or for worse. We're all stuck in it." Followed by somebody else saying "it feels as if it's all about to erupt."
Yes, she is an absolutely brilliant actress who nailed Diana's mannerisms. The previous one was looking like she is holding a roller in between her chin and neck.
From the States here. My mother was drawn into the Royal Family by the publicity around Princess Di when I was a child. She loved her so much. When the news of Diana's passing came, I was 7, and I remember my dad bringing me to my mom in bed (she was sick at the time) and her holding me while sobbing. Not in an ugly way that would scare a child, in a loving way. She saw two young boys who lost a mother and a mother whom she loved. Later on, my mother researched and read everything she could on the Royal Family, the good and the bad. And she has passed that passion on to me. I commend this series on its perspective and its writing. Not to mention the craft and the acting. It definitely comes from a few specific viewpoints, but at least we are seeing this family as humans thrust by birth into a place of power. It's extraordinary, and I can't wait for this season.
Why would royals be uneasy and scared? Scared of halfwits being influenced by the tabloid media? Yeah..that was so damaging….they’re not stronger than ever at all…

The physical resembles between the actresses and the real Diana and Camilla were spot on!
The Bittersweet Symphony fits really well here. The song realesed in the same year Diana died.

Hardly. This actress playing Diana is very skinny and harsh looking. She looks nothing like Diana.
Also the way she talks.... it sounds just like disna. it gives me goosebumps
Holy mother of god!!! Elizabeth Debicki is the total reincarnation of Diana here; the tone, speech pattern, the posture, the mannerisms, everything is absolutely slam dunk impeccable. I'm afraid, sis is coming for that Emmy.

She's too thin and not as pretty as Diana. In the 90's Diana was working out and had lost that skinny bony look she had in the 80's.
@@davidthomas-ot4cl i think she is too tall and thin in comparisons to diana. The last actress was great
yeah, she does. except her height is 190 cm (6.3 ft). The woman is a tower.
GREAT COMMENTS 👍
I love the contrast between seasons. From the last season of painting Diana as a simple yet dazzling, unappreciated woman, to the new season a complex and dazzling vengeful queen. Sort of a protagonist to a little bit of an antagonist.
Really hope they make Diana much more than just a Cinderella but a Cinderella with a Cunning and relentless PR revelations that was humiliating the family at every front of the PR between the people and the house of Windsor.
Well said!

Lucky you!!!!!!!
The Bittersweet symphony as a main theme of this snapshot is so much accurate 😭 whoever came up with this idea deserves standing ovations... Can't wait to see the entire season 5 😍😍

Hello eidde how are you doing today?
I was born in 97 so I don't remember any of the 90s!
For me, it was the favourite season of The Crown - Diana's season. Elizabeth Debicki did a superb job as the main character of this season.

And Jonny Lee Miller as John Major!
Elizabeth Delbicki is closest to Princess Di
It surprises me that such intelligent talent want any part of this!
Although being fan of Dominic West, I am bit dubious of him as Charles.
I remember the Diana years and naively thought the same. But now I realise that she was not all sweetness and nice.

Not only is it a reflection of our lifetime, it includes flashbacks to what we were doing, who we were with and where we are now. it's all history now it's not even what we call past. history takes on a different context
It ain't even that serious yt ppl making paragraphs 😂
@@Inkpinkierosie I’m British and lived through this history, it has cultural significance to a certain generation, even down to the clothes, the music, how Britain looked, the job centre, the housing, the riots, protest, politics. This series has it all.
Fantastic cast, especially Diana’s actor!
Elizabeth Debicki! She's been wonderful in her previous films and shows.
@@twilight79010 I knew, I knew that face
John Major and Camilla look *exactly* like the real people
Actress - don't be woke.
@@a.t.c.3862 Actor/actress it really doesn’t faze me in the term i use. Fantastic cast either way. 👏
I have a feeling this season will get very emotional. The scenery, the music and the cast are out of this world. Peter Morgan, you did it again… The Crown is a masterpiece.
It's fiction
@@jasonperry8529 not entirely. They showed Diana making herself sick in the last series. We all know Diana was bulimic. So they do show real things.
@@startracker5895 So on your assumption everything Netflix puts out is 100% fact ? Please tell me you are not buying all this guff ?
@@jasonperry8529 yeah you monarchists win again, they will put a fictional disclaimer with it.
@@jasonperry8529 It is a work of fiction based on historical facts and loads of biographies of the RF
Wow. The Diana actor is on point! This series is amazing and I can’t wait to watch it
She's way too thin.
@@a.t.c.3862 She is a little but her she's got the look
@@a.t.c.3862 Yeah, love Elizabeth Debicki, but she's almost too slender and fragile-looking!
@@fiddleandfart She just looks unhealthy - while Diana absolutely glowed - saw her three times in person.
Out of every teaser or trailer for any Netflix show, this is the best.
You can really feel a different vibe compared to the earlier seasons. Maybe it’s the new cast or the fact that the events don’t lie that far in the past, I can’t really tell. Nonetheless I’m extremely excited to see it and will probably binge watch it xD
Is recent history, that's why it feels differenrt, is firly recenr history and a lot of people have it fresh in their mind...
This is history now but it only occurred 30 years ago.
This show NEVER disappoints whatsoever! Not to mention the unbelievable talent from the actors! I’m so ready for this season! 2 years of waiting are over!
Really? Stopped watching mid season two
Debicki’s Diana voice at the end when she says she won’t go down quietly.. holyyyy shit that sounds exactly like diana
Whoever edits these Crown trailers needs major recognition
That shot of Windsor burning… symbolic AF.
Symbolic of what? It happened years before any scandal with Diana did.
Oh heck yes!!!! The actress playing Princess Diana standing ovation looks and acts exactly like her. This season looks amazing!
The casting and make up department are doing an amazing job on this series. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 They capture these people's personality and likeness so well.
This season left out an important moment in the 90's. They never mentioned the time John Major met with Cornelius Fudge and Rufus Scrimgour to discuss the Wizard wars.
Whoever cuts these trailers knows how to pick just the right music. Every single time it's sheer perfection.
This is one of the best trailers I have ever seen. Give the awards to The Crown. Im not a fan of this genre but got hooked on every episode. I have a feeling this will be its best season yet. Feels like im gonna watch an Oscar winning-like material on my television this Nov 9. Gotta prepare before I binge watch
***Diana, Bashir, Camilla, Queen, John Major, and Philip, are so perfect
**** Cinematography is perfect just a feast for the eyes
And unless you have studied the family and all it’s history you can’t appreciate what they are doing here The royals have given interviews that confirm most of it
Was she the one potraying professor umbridge? What a great actress!
No one cares about her. Her glories belongs to the past and the world will move on
@@jodytackaberry6065 By turning their lives into a soap opera and twisting the truth for ratings.
After this is over. They should make a spinoff Crown series on Queen Victoria. The 2 longest ruling monarchs in british history and both were Queens. Both had somewhat similar trials and tribulations during their reign. It would make a fantastic show especially under Peter Morgans brilliant vision.
First line by Imelda sounds EXACTLY like the Queen... just WOW!
no she doesn't?
@@G94-u4c she does, clean your ears
I feel like it’s only Non-Brits saying that she sounds exactly like the queen 😂
@@n_sn_s5470 might be true, I am from Slovakia, I cannot hear much difference. But does she sound MUCH different to you? Or just sligthly?
Don't forget it's fiction. Diana didn't even want a divorce, till the very end.
Absolutely brilliant! Elizabeth Debicki as Diana is giving me chills! Wow! 🙌🙌
Yes, she is an absolutely brilliant actress who nailed Diana's mannerisms. The previous one was looking like she is holding a roller in between her chin and neck.
@@Boop-beep-bap At least she actually looked like Diana. This actress doesn't look like Diana at all.
@@SR-iy4gg even actress portraying Queen Elizabeth doesn't look like her. It's not about how similar they look, it's more about portrayal.
@@SR-iy4gg yes she does
The casting is so spot on. Like wow
Have you ever seen footage of Princess Margaret??
It's extraordinary, and I can't wait for this season.
you mom's passion sounds lovely. I do wonder how she felt when the queen died though
I share your same sentiments.
I love the fact that The Crown is making the royals uneasy and scared, it makes everyone more curious to watch it.
it makes them sad because they are harassed by lies enough in the tabloids they don't need idiots taking fiction for fact on tv too.
Why would royals be uneasy and scared? Scared of halfwits being influenced by the tabloid media? Yeah..that was so damaging….they’re not stronger than ever at all…
@@G94-u4c they reap what they sow and it’s nothing much terrible compared what their previous generations done to another nations
@@G94-u4c The royals have been spinning fiction for as long as they've existed. Of course they don't enjoy losing control of the narrative, but it's not the public's responsibility to indulge their desire to maintain a facade. The days of royal sanctity are long gone.
Exactly
The soundtrack Bitter sweet Symphony fits perfectly with Princess Diana’s story. Chills down my spine
