im getting range rover vibes with this
velar to be specific. the angles from the side and back are matching 1:1
Looks more of a Range Rover Velar competitor IMHO!
I thought the same thing
In the front looks cinese i dont like It👎
It's sized like a Range Rover sport and X5
Jeep Wagoneer is more of competitor for modern Range Rover Sport.
At this point I think Stellantis is just trying to confuse their buyers with their odd naming convention. You have the Wagoneer, a full-size gas powered SUV and now Wagoneer the midsize electric crossover (like adding an S does anything). With Dodge they made the charger a two door and discontinued the challanger, while still also having a four door Charger.
The Charger used to be a 2-door car back in the 70s.
@@fenrirslipwe all know but it doesn’t change the fact that everything is all confused now
@@exzoduss3089 I mean, I wasn't confused.
@@exzoduss3089Maybe you're confused but that doesn't mean the rest of us are. Also a 4 door variant of the Charger Daytona is coming as well.
@@DodgerFloof so they got a 2 door charger and a 4 door charger, dropped the 2 door challenger name. then we have the wagoneer and the wagoneer s which are two different vehicles. i’m not confused but this is just retarded naming
Hot take, but I like it's design..
Yeah it generally looks good, just unfamiliar for Jeep
If you squeeze your eyes it's looks exactly like a range rover
I was thinking Land Rover Velar.
Yes that’s a 4 th screen where the climate controls should be and it folds in ward to uncover the wireless charger (a lil gimmicky) but I agree we need more ruggedness from the Jeep brand and less trend following 💯
The head looks like any car brand
The side of the car looks like a Land Rover, and the rear looks like a Nissan or Toyota
Except for the grill, the whole car doesn't look like a Jeep.
Although its a good-looking design
2:58 agree. Screens are cheap. Physical dials are classier at this point.
Also, Jeep missed the memo that off-road appearance is what people like.
This is technically a trackhawk replacement if the Grand cherokee doesn't get a Sport model
70 k for a an electric Cherokee
Kinda have a Range Rover vibes to the exterior
I welcome the screens. I wanted a new Grand Cherokee, but I'm not going to pay $70k plus for a vehicle with a 10" screen from the last decade.
That’s a very nice looking SUV
At this point I think going with the sleek, sharp, sporty/ ev oriented design is something that’s not going anywhere rn.
Not an advocate of Evs nor do I dislike them, is good to have the options but ev design language is predominant on all car brands rn
As of screens, I couldn’t agree more with you. This and other reasons (broke) makes me go for older models with real gauge cluster and real buttons to feel what I’m pressing down.
The thumbnail made me think you were comparing a Wrangler to a Lucid Gravity
The power in EVs is more a function of how much power the battery pack can discharge (and recharge, the C is normally the same), not much to do with the motors themselves. So making a fast EV is "cheap" if you aim to get it to recharge fast.
And numbers impress, so there's that.
Lets be real the Wagoneer S is just an electric GrandCherokee TrackHawk replacement but milking the status of the Wagoneer.
Well, they did have that competition to give it a different name. I didn't think they were that sold on just using the wagoneer name, again...
I like the design a lot I will say Jeep needs to take back their round headlights such as the G wagon Mini Cooper Land Cruiser Bronco
Interior Audi Q7,
Exterior, combination of Toyota and Range Rover
This whole design is beautiful and it is needed for the survival of Jeep. It's designed by the younger generation and they have made it desirable too.
Should have been a Chrysler.
Toyota could make a TRUE hybrid with 600hp BUT Stellantis can't.
These won't sell
Another Hornet failure
Having 4 screens in a car is actually insane, especially in a Jeep lol
Waggoner thats the size of the Grand Cherokee
That's your point of view in the screen aspect. We all don't spend our time on screens like yourself.
It is looking like a Range Rover especially like Velar
They realized a Trackhawk replacement was necessary…
I was watching this video and just noticed it’s not the grand Cherokee. The rear end looks like a Venza that’s for sure
The back gives a Audi vibe
My first thought was Toyota :)
Speaking of jeeps, would you do a design review of the KGM - Torres? KGM or formerly SsangYong which is a Korean car manufacturer that started as a company that modified American military buses and resold them, later had some stuff to do with AMC and GM on the way and got into making jeeps for the US Army which is their design identity for their SUVs, though they got sold to SAIC a Chinese company and their designs started to look like Chinese.. then later in 2010 they got sold to Mahindra an Indian company and started to lose any and all identity. After that, KG a Korean company, bought back SsangYong in 2022 and now became KGM and they finally brought back their design identity of making them SUVs look like Jeeps. (This company is an interesting one because they worked with many other car manufacturers including Mercedes Benz) (They don't sell in the US or NA but they do sell globally. )
Pretty sure dropping the hp does not increase range, going 60mph with 300hp or 600hp doesn't affect range
also what kind of spoiler is that lol
Nice job in the evolution of Jeep. Range Rover and Jeep share a common ancestor, so why should Range Rover only sell high dollar vehicles? I like the sporty design,Ilike the power, I like the interior. Please stop complaining about screens, accept progress and buy it or not...but kudos to Jeep for not remaining static.
Looks like a Range Rover Evoque.
To me, looks like a subaru outback. In fact, many vehicles on the road look like a subaru or a toyota. I miss the days when each brand had their own signature style like Mercedes, etc. Disappointing. I am even more disappointed w/ this launch than the launch of the gas powered wagoneer.
G CLASS EV "exists "
Jeep boss to designer : you see how good that look ? Do the opposite .
Not the new challenger, the new charger
Trail hawk
Star spangled Velar
It’s a good looking ‘car,’ but not a good looking ‘Jeep.’ The price is ridiculous, but that unfortunately extends to all manufacturers.
Range Rover should sue this is too close to their designs. Beautiful but it should retain more boxy jeep elements. The price is what it is. It does sits above the grand Cherokee. But the GC needs to top out at 60k.
600 hp with 255 width tires? 🤷🏼
The Wagooner is just like any other generic SUV out there, quite strange for Jeep to do something this boring...
Range Rover designs are clearly inspiring a lot of competitors including the Chinese
The only good looking car of Stellanis is a Jeep even when they have brands like Lancia. Dont know what they are up to, probably they take care more of the higher end cars.
People when car companies change: 😱🤬
People when car companies don’t change: 😱🤬
At night the lights will make the seven slats
If you told me it was a Kia EV9 I would believe you, or a Volvo EC30 or what they are called.. or any other EV usv. The big problem with all these cars is they look the same more or less, and you have to read the badge to tell what brand it is many times. And interiors on EV's.. 2 straight lines.. a big screen, and a steering wheel. Why even hire a designer for a interiour these days? I am sure the suspension engineer can draw that with ease in solidworks.
Range Rover Sport as if chineese made it 😅
Yo pet the cat! 😂
I don't feel any Jeep vibes here it, the car is tasteless and lacks of identity, it looks like any random Chinese EV SUV. Totally agree with you on the invasion of screens, got 2 screens all day long at work, 2 at home, the smartphone, some people have even digital watch, I don't want 4 additional screens when I drive. This trend sucks
look svery close to a range rover velar
It literally looks like a Range Rover
Jeep Pro Max
Just going to throw my opinion out here: Stellantis is missing an opportunity in the US market. You have two brands with a particular focus. Ram is their truck brand and Dodge is the performance brand. Then you have Jeep which seems to forget that they make capable and customizable off roaders and finally Chrysler which only has a minivan with two names. Now apologies in advance if this upsets people, but resurrect Plymouth as a mainstream brand and have Voyage go to there. Keep Dodge and Ram as they are. Jeep will go back to basics and make SUVs and the Wrangler for those who want something they can personalize for the outdoors. Finally Chrysler should go back to their roots in the 60s; Mopar’s answer to Lincoln and Cadillac. This Wagoneer S would be better suited as that kind of Chrysler, perhaps as a rebooted Aspen (Yes they were terrible but the name was cool). Especially with that squared off steering wheel, which makes me think of a ‘62 Imperial.
You are so right .enough of the screen already
I wonder if this is going to have a Transmission like the Dodge EV. When i first heard about that Transmission years ago, i thought it was silly. But now after being in a few EV's since then, those Pulls on the stomach can be rough. On one occasion i felt like i just got off a Rollercoaster, for the rest of the day.
I see land Rover in there
Im more annoyed they called it a wagoneer when... not evenits size nor
It looks interesting BUT expensive
#keepthev8
Ok so how many people legitimately want only electric vehicles in the future? I'm of the mindset I'm driving ICE or at the very least hybrids until I can't buy then anymore. Whether that be new or used.
I personally like EVS and will willingly buy one but I do agree that It shouldnt be mandated that just creates resentment towards them
I have several ICE vehicles that I plan to keep indefinitely, but I won’t be buying anything new that’s not an EV. Dealing with gas stations, increased maintenance, and comparatively slow acceleration on a new car has no interest to me. When I want the nostalgic feeling of rowing through gears and listening to the engine rev, I’ll drive one of my ICE cars.
Aw hell naw. Those wheels look like Nissan wheels 😂
They should have changed the name from wagoneer to jeep commander. Wagoner sounds staid
Who would pay that much for a Stellantis product?
All they had to do was make a cheaper
Rivian R1S and it would have sold like hotcakes. In a world where everyone is making boxy off-road SUVs why is Jeep making sporty SUVs? Seems like range Rover is doing the same thing. Everything is backwards.
No, I don’t think this is a new trend. This is the trend for Chrysler which includes jeep and dodge no one else else is doing this. They’re playing it safe so they don’t offend the few customers that still buy them both at the same time the transitions is complete. I do not believe this is a trend and it may be a mistake It’s very costly to convert to electric and maintain your gas powered vehicles
Just say the words Ford Mustang EV and that says it all. Placing a winning name on anything they think increases product sales.🤷🏼
Logical lower pwr increase range . Not impressed
I think it is very attractive, but Jeep needs to get their actual quality rankings up.
who is going to buy these ? had a 1964 wagoneer , 88 grand wagoneer think im buying one ? its just a name, so why should I buy one ?
Tf you mean what happened? They mad a beautiful looking car, if only they made the GC look like this
So much screens, but driving on the phone is dangerous xd
Design wise, Jeep now feels like that cousin in your family who is trying out all of the trendy outfits on TikTok. It's going through that phase. Identity crisis.
Torres-KG Mobility, a Korean knock-off, feels more Jeep than this one.
I know everyone’s gonna say Range Rover vibes but it’s really Chevy vibes …
Stellantis is the problem.
LOL the Tesla model y bubble roof car is not luxury.
It's the Homer Simpson design of cars , yes ugly
Just wish Jeep kept making off-road like vehicles instead of trying to be landrover wannabe
id rather a trackhawk any day
These manufacturers are going crazy with pricing and consumers are feeding into it buying cars they can't even afford. If it takes you places, you're already winning. Not everyone and their grandma needs a TV screen, a recliner and 1000hp to make it to the grocery store.
This feels astonishingly amateur. It’s hard to find *any* Jeep dna anywhere.
Good luck selling it.
Stellantis has ruined the American Brand👎🏾👎🏾
And then there have horrible reliability because of them… Run from these products and don’t look back
Stellantis happened, European influence happened. Say goodbye to your American cars, they're getting phased away because Europe was losing money due to American imports.
For seventy five thousand dollars I can buy something much better.
Bro who wants a luxury jeep
Damn dude, you could have at least put on a damn clean shirt🤢
I think dodge and jeep lost their personality
Looks boring and generic
Bembli is 100% not a designer and 100% cringy
Why
Why?
Lets be real the Wagoneer S is just an electric GrandCherokee TrackHawk replacement but milking the status of the Wagoneer.
