I am so unbelievably sad that my 2 week trip in Syria has come to an end. This country has gone above and beyond all of my expectations in many ways, but none other than the hospitality.
Sometimes it's hard for me to communicate with you how incredible and warming these people are, because I am often not rolling my camera during the best moments. It almost doesn't make sense to me -- how can people be THIS genuine?
All I can tell you, with absolute confidence, is that Syria has the best hospitality in the world. Period.
Over the last 14 days, I have received 16 random gifts for free -- all of them were unexpected. This video takes you on a journey to hear about every single one of them!

Pakistan, syria and all (afghan,african countries, etc…) are many misunderstood countries media and all suppress them. But actual people in these countries are awesome and sooo hospitable

I went to syria recently and i got extremely dehydrated because my water bottle was destroyed by falling. I told the locals where can i buy water bottles but they just told me no no no we don't do that here and gave me wine, juice, tea i was just dumbfounded like what? I love these amazing people!
Many restaurants started selling water recently (they charge for it). However we find it very disrespectful to do that... As water should be available to all... Specially those who have thirst
All traditional restaurants and shops have free water on the tables or in a big traditional jar...
We also have a lot of free drinking water sources across the cities

I used to live in the UAE and the Arab hospitality is really like that, now living in Portugal and most people don't even offer you water. It has nothing to do with economics it's 100% cultural.

I noticed this also, these so-called "developed" countries have become so selfish and entitled. I am european also, from Romania, and I lived and traveled to many countries in Europe, and it's hard to name a country that truly showed a good hospitality, without being paid. Even tho Europe is not so poor, people are still greedy and mean. I hope in the future I will have the chance to visit countries outside Europe, I am honestly disappointed.

Im a Korean and i can totally agree that people get scared of Syria and the people but i never really was or be. I have 2 Syrian friends and they were going to Syria for summer holidays and they invited me. I really wanted to go and i asked my parents and they dissagreed and starting to get mad and they said never step foot in that country. So i showed my parents travel videos and they allowed me. When i steeped foot i loved that country a lot of people gave us free things. I reciever 8 free things and im really happy still. This day that Drew's video came out i showed it to my parents and they said something that shocked me. For 2 weeks at January we will have holidays in Syria and i am super happy. Lots of love from 🇰🇷. I love 🇸🇾

We have a tradition that it is a shame that if someone visits you to let him/her leave without drinking coffee, it's important every visit.
When you see this video, you'll probably want to visit Syria, visiting will be good, but living is really different, we don't have any kind of cards so we can't pay online, the internet is sooooo slow, we are not really modern and we always get the trend after it is done.
