  • Sudan's army and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces have been fighting for nearly two months now. Millions of people have been affected.
But this latest battle is now threatening to re-ignite decades-old tensions in the western Darfur region.
Doctors Without Borders says hundreds of civilians have been killed there since violence broke out in April.
The battle began around the capital Khartoum, but has since spread to many areas across the country.
Darfur has become one of its main battlegrounds.
People in the region say various militias are targeting civilians, and some have warned of massacres.

Why everyone is concerned about what happened in west Darfur, while the same violence is being reported across the Capital and elsewhere in the Sudan?!.

@@emptyhad2571 bro wdym, im zaghawa, but darfur succeeding is better than being apart of sudan. Look at how people from the north, east and Khartoum look down upon us, they dont see us as humans, they literally tried to wipe us off, and replace us with arabs not just the rizeigat but also arabs from west africa (great replacement). There is plenty of gold in darfur but its all being stolen by arabs. We have to succeed to care for our own and to not be indoctrinated and led like slaves. The war in the south is a good example, 2 million darfuri men were sent as fighters under the name of jihad, but they were just death sends by the arabs in khartoum. I dont know no fur who wants to remain apart of sudan, u have always had your own homeland, so use it to better urselves
