@@frap9965 you do, but you have to re insert from a FOB. Then you have to get a ride from the Orgres (motorcade) or Stalker (helicopter) back out to the field.
Oh yeah, especially when the bullets are whizzing by and can’t see where it’s coming from.
As a former FO in the army calling in actual indirect fire would be awesone

For example: I logged in yesterday, reinserts and I were heading to the AO’s LZ got to my squad. We r stepped off to clear a town and as soon as I peeked around the corner I got hit in the head. Took the medics about 10-15 minutes to get me back in the fight. After that I was good for the rest of the op.
really wish you guys had an eu server too. the US one gives me 400+ ping
Just got all the mods installed! Looking forward to joining in on the fun! I noticed the pilot/crew applications are closed though. I hope to get into a pilot seat at some point (I'm a DCS player as well).

It's possible to map Arma controls to a gamepad, however it's certainly not ideal. In my opinion, you'd be much better off with mouse and keyboard.

Hey karma, I'm trying to get into ARMA 3 and want to ask you what DLC do i buy, Btw, like your vids.
For the Liberation server, there is no DLC required. Most if not all of the content comes from mods and no DLC is used to ensure everybody can play. However, if you're looking for additional content apart from the liberation server, Apex and Prairie Fire are both pretty good.

Basically get Apex or SOG Prairie Fire because those two are really good you can get Contact too but I've heard mixed things about it.
All of 'em, marksman is an absolute must though. Just wait for a sale and get it on the cheap.

I redownloaded ArmA to try to join once, but was quickly reminded how much of a pain dealing with getting the proper mods to play each server is.

Honestly, put some shaders on there, a backstory for a few of the soldiers, and a big pile of Michael Bay, and this could make a compelling action flick

Vanilla AI not so good (but always depends on the settings, skipts used and Server performance) but with some mods like VCOM AI and LAMBS, the AI can become a challange (or if settings set to high, aimbots)
Karma, is liberation an ongoing thing where you play for a few hours then take up from where you left off next time?
That was intense! Looks like so much fun. Wish I could dedicate some time to large community sessions like this 😞
It's always going 24/7. Just hop in and join in a group, then get right into the action. You don't have to wait for a specific start time, etc.

This brings me back to the Ukraine op we did, I was kinda iffy due to obvious recent events, but man I gotta admit kicking Russian ass was awesome. We ended up at the last city on the map, electro. We had a full crew of tankers, pilots, and infantry. It took a while due to the amount of ai, but after a solid month we won.

It’s 60+ mods. If you join the discord, The have it well organized on what is needed. From Google drive spreadsheets of the company, to server info.

ARMA often goes on sale for pretty cheap and from other comments here it doesn't seem you need any of the DLC for this server. Wait for the next Steam sale
@@jay4our766 as jared said Arma goes on sale every other month pretty much, also we do not use hard DLC requirements on the server. This means we miss out on some stuff but everyone can play. TLDR you don't need any DLC

just wondering do you get radar reports of incoming air threats or do they just appear bcuz that's not how it would be radar works right or is this realistic but not wow your heli pilot at the beginning knows nothing about land in cover did you let him do that bro wtf I would of called him off parking in front of the building where enemy can easily shoot him gee wonder why that happened. they died bcuz of bad leadership as a commanding officer you are responsible for that one dude the idiots in the building did deserve that lol but this is sooo unorganized I thought the 0layers would be more immersed and really play a good team but not what I saw at all fubar af 🤣🤣🤣🤣
