rewatching this makes me appreciate how "The Badgers" start out as a resistance to an unfair takeover, fighting for their homes, slowly becoming a, while not entirely malicious, antagonistic and self-centered organization, and then throwing out all morals and subsequently becoming a larger threat to Altis than Russia could ever be. Only to be taken out by their own incompetence. Truly, a story unlike any other.

Não Sei In truth, no, but I guess kinda yes.
I was a little young to really do much other than fly around, shoot a thing or two, fly super high, then shut down my engines and crash.
I did see a few cutscenes from when my older brother played it though, and the voice over and art style stuck with me so well that I actually looked up the animatics and story relevant scenes years later.
To this day, I kinda wish someone would do something like it. Maybe with a contemplative spin on what future warfare could look like, or just make an FPS that uses it to give your fighting a grounded sense of meaning, rather than making the story basically a Ghost in the Shell fanfic like Black Ops 3, or whatever kind of Halo rip-off Infinite Warfare was.

A Russian warship rolled up, told them to surrender, and the Ukrainians told them to go fuck themselves.
