I was thinking this was gonna be a gamer explanation. I was like if he doesn’t explain that a Raid is a Special Purpose Attack with a planned withdrawal I’m going to be annoyed but no you broke it all the way down. TLPs and your GOTWA good job!
I was a bravo back in the day. Nice job man not to bad looking idk if we would’ve used IR for the release point against near peer. But, against isis for sure. Still though for realism I’d keep the IR to a minimum. Keep up the good work man.
I admire your content, keep up the good work, educational and entertaining. Thank you brother. Maybe teach about theory about communication radio protocols.
Yeah, to all the old timers who say you can’t actually train using Muslim games, they have no clue what they’re talking about. That’s like saying you can’t learn anything from an audiobook.
Refer to the Ranger handbook, preferably the most recent edition. I will also be explaining things at the platoon level. Here's the breakdown for orders. A lot can be learned from the TLP's or Troop Leading Procedures. There are 8 of them. 1. Receive the mission. - The platoon leader (PL) receives the mission from higher up either in the form of a Warning Order or WARNO or full Operation Order or OPORD. 2. Issue the WARNO - Like the above, a warno should be sent out to your platoon as early as you can. 3. Make a Tentative Plan - After receiving the mission the PL will then begin the necessary preparations for creating an opord such as creating a timeline of events incorporating the 1/3 2/3rds rule. Which is 1/3 rd the time is used for planning while 2/3rds of the time are used for the mission itself. 4. Initiate Necessary Movement - While you are in the process of planning, your platoon sergeant (PSG) and Squad Leaders (SLs) can begin checking there soldiers for the necessary equipment as well as rehearsing roles and other important information. 5. Conduct Recon - This part is a but dependent on the mission or METT-TC dependent. However, it is good practice to Recon any area or objective you may be crossing or going to if time allows. This includes referencing sat images or doing an in person Recon. If time does not allow then the PL must use their own discretion and a map to discern the best possible route. 6. Complete the Plan - The PL finalizes their plan and makes any necessary last minute changes or corrections. 7. Issue the OPORD - This can be done a multitude kf ways but most commonly involves the PL briefing his platoon or SL in the plan, going over actions on, what Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) to look out for, and Other pertinent info 8. Supervise and Refine - As the plan unfolds, make necessary modifications where needed and important
GOTWA. Time. Rather than say, “If I’m not back in 5 minutes, wait 5 more minutes,” just say “Time to be back is 10 minutes.” I did this too and was quickly corrected by my instructor lol
How fun would it be to include more or less allied friendlies? Kurd nationalists, cambodian tribesmen, afghan national police, greek partisans and all other sorts of locals who have at one point or another interacted with US SF troops.
Private mods, that's practically the answer for all mods he uses. It very hard to get private mods these days cuz USP is keep on taking them down from the workshop. I have around a 70 gb folder and I'm willing to hand it out if u want.

Yup, especially when he made a short video about standard offensive strategy and I finally learned what “ISR”, “QRF”, and “SBF” meant
My favorite realistic feature of a US soldier. The eyeball zoom.
It somewhat simulates your ability to “focus” on things
@@spyingsundew5 yeah human eyes are optically designed to have both wide angle view but also telescopic view at once.. games dont simulate that the same so the zoom represents that.
I can't do that but I do have the unique ability to completely blur my own vision at will
Whether you want to believe it or not, the Arma zoom is more realistic than 99% of other flat panel games.
@@personnelproton There's nothing remotely realistic because it doesn't fuckin happen lmao what a dork
2:55 using IR lasers to mark the release point is really creative I can't believe I've never thought of this.
It's been pretty standard throughout recent years. Not as viable against an enemy who can see them.
Can you please explain what the point of doing this is ? I've never seen it before and Im curious
