One small step I would add is before pouring the dry spices into the bag, just to stir them up with a fork to make sure you don't get clumps of one spice or the other on the chicken when you dump it in on the chicken, I know it was shaken up well but to make sure the spice is mixed up beforehand will ensure there are no little pockets or over seasoned or under seasoned parts.
I made these today and this is my new way to do wings. I was hoping I wouldn't need sauce but the breading flavor was kinda bland. They were great with a little hot sauce. Loved the crunch!!!
Thanks Chris - just devoured your delicious, crunchy, tender wings for dinner here on this warm South Australian Spring evening - PERFECTION in a bowl. You have a gift mate, cheers for sharing
Jan. 16, '25 - I prepared/cooked them as you directed here, with the sauce, and sprinkled some cheese on top, and made some tater tots, and had it with pickled okra! Thank you! Yum!

Air frying is basically convection cooking. A lot of ovens have a convection cooking setting on them or some may call it air fry. So yes an oven with air frying does air fry. The advantage of a counter top air fryer is that it usually heats up quicker and is more concentrated heat because of the smaller space. At least that's what I have heard. Just like with any basket air fryer or oven air fryer temps and time may vary.

These are the best looking wings that I've seen someone make in an air fryer. They look nice and crunchy while most others don't
Thanks for the kind words!
I'm going to try that recipe next time I do wings in my Air Fryer. They look great
Hope they are amazing!
Thanks for sharing. I like that you didn’t use garlic or onion seasoning!!! Plain and simple.
Right? Gotta keep it simple sometimes.

Does the oven that has an air frying selection, air fry at all?

Looks good 😊
Yum!! 😊
Hi I love this one❤✅🥰🎉👏🎄
That sounds a little bit too crunchy, but they do look good. Especially the coloring on the wings.
Did you use flower or yellow chicken batter?
Neither 😎
Yummy
Temp Probe MUST go into the DEEP THICK part of the food.
Relax a bit. It's okay.

No need for Kosher Salt, just use the cheap table salt. All salt is the same, so don't waste money on expensive Kosher Salt.
All salt is NOT the same.
@@kodachrome27 Yes it is, sodium chloride is sodium chloride, whether it's rock salt, sea salt, table salt, kosher salt it's ALL THE SAME.

Why do you want to eat flour or baking soda? Why do you want to take so much time for such crap food? Very silly stuff for certain.
Why would you watch a chicken wing video if you think it is a crap food? 🤔
