    One small step I would add is before pouring the dry spices into the bag, just to stir them up with a fork to make sure you don't get clumps of one spice or the other on the chicken when you dump it in on the chicken, I know it was shaken up well but to make sure the spice is mixed up beforehand will ensure there are no little pockets or over seasoned or under seasoned parts.

    These are the best looking wings that I've seen someone make in an air fryer. They look nice and crunchy while most others don't

    Thanks for sharing. I like that you didn’t use garlic or onion seasoning!!! Plain and simple.

    I made these today and this is my new way to do wings. I was hoping I wouldn't need sauce but the breading flavor was kinda bland. They were great with a little hot sauce. Loved the crunch!!!

    Jan. 16, '25 - I prepared/cooked them as you directed here, with the sauce, and sprinkled some cheese on top, and made some tater tots, and had it with pickled okra! Thank you! Yum!

    Does the oven that has an air frying selection, air fry at all?

    • @cookingwithchris_yt
      @cookingwithchris_yt  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Air frying is basically convection cooking. A lot of ovens have a convection cooking setting on them or some may call it air fry. So yes an oven with air frying does air fry. The advantage of a counter top air fryer is that it usually heats up quicker and is more concentrated heat because of the smaller space. At least that's what I have heard. Just like with any basket air fryer or oven air fryer temps and time may vary.

    No need for Kosher Salt, just use the cheap table salt. All salt is the same, so don't waste money on expensive Kosher Salt.

      All salt is NOT the same.

    • @markylon
      @markylon หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@kodachrome27 Yes it is, sodium chloride is sodium chloride, whether it's rock salt, sea salt, table salt, kosher salt it's ALL THE SAME.

    • @kodachrome27
      @kodachrome27 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      @@markylon watch out. Your ignorance is showing. While they might all have the same chemical makeup, there are differences between grain size and texture. Iodized salt, AKA table salt, is far different from, let's say, kosher salt.

    • @markylon
      @markylon หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @kodachrome27 all salt is sodium chloride, the only difference is grain size, some American companies add iodine. But all salt is salt. Kosher is the same as table salt.

    • @markylon
      @markylon หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kodachrome27 I think you'll find you're the ignorant one here. ALL SALT is Sodium Chloride, while the USA add Iodine to some table salts, every other country in the world does not. So apart from the grain size, ALL SALT IS SALT end of. Whether is finely ground or ROCK SALT or PINK HIMALAYA SALT ALL SALT is SALT - Sodium Chloride. Weigh the salt and I PROMISE you, you won't be able to taste any difference in COOKING. However the grain size for example rock salt sprinkled on a steak v table salt will give them impression of different taste as the surface area volume of salt by area differs and it effects the taste buds. But dissolved SALT is the SAME, so don't WASTE money on Kosher or Rock Salt if it's going into your cooking, It's ALL THE SAME. Sea Salt or Mined Salt it's ALL THE SAME. Marketing companies will tell you otherwise, but it's not true. Then you get people try to tell you their sale has additional minerals, well the amount of minerals you would get from the amount of sale in your food would be so negligible you're really deluded. The salt would KILL YOU before you got any discernible benefit from any trace minerals.
