Did it. Love it. Baking powder is the key folks…flour substitute is NOT the same. Will use the baking powder add from now on when I air fry wings. Drying the wings first is key as well (but I always knew this)
My grandsons went absolutely ballistic over these wings, begging to please make them again😮…I’m stunned‼️ I read hesitant, but they were awesome thanks👍
I was looking for a quick n easy chicken wing air fryer recipe and you came upon my search. I’ve never ever made chicken wings from scratch. I always buy them. I decided to try your recipe and OMG!!!! My wings look FIRE!!!! Thank you so much. I love short videos that get straight to the point…..I’m a little inpatient 😞 Again…..THANK UUUUU!!!
Just installed a new induction stove with an Air Fryer option in the oven. The inaugural session was launched with your recipe - the first oven operation and my first air frying experiment ever. Your recipe is simple, delicious, and perfect for a first-timer - HUGE success! I cooked them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and used a wire rack. It allows a lot more wings with a lot more space and showed me this air fry feature in a traditional oven works incredibly well. These wings are amazing and I am now an evangelist for them. That baking soda option was awesome. I'm hooked! Thank you for the instructions!
I just made this and it turned out amazing! It was my first time using an air fryer AND my first time making wings. I quickly realized I didn't make enough after my children ate them all and I was left with only one lol. Next time ill be making much more.
I kind of did this - used the preparation then added chili flakes and paprika. I'm in Aus - we use centigrade so I used 200c all through. When it was done I added honey instead of sauce. Served with cooked fresh vegetables. Easy peasy.
Great recipe! Easy to follow. Possible additional step! When splitting the drumettes from the flats, you can also trim the wing tips using the same joint separation technique and use the meat-light, collagen rich wing tips for homemade chicken stock.
I also made wings last night using this recipe and I was amazed at how good they turned out. I wouldn't have guessed that they were not deep fried. Thanks for the video recipe.
Yeah but he kind of lost me after the first 20 minutes when he said turn it up I got confused there because he said 380 keys for 20 minutes then shake and put them in for 2 minutes then shake and put them in for 2 minutes longer at 400°but he did something slightly different
So simple, yet turned out great! I’ve only had my air fryer for a little over a week and still learning techniques. I added just a dash of cayenne in with the dry seasonings and then brushed a light coating of bbq sauce on those last 2 min. Delish!!! You have a new subscriber.
My brand new oven has an air-fry setting. I have fresh chicken wings in the fridge, and I am stuck at home with covid, so I think this is just what the doctor ordered! Thank you!
I have this exact same Air Fryer, it has 2 burners one in the top and one below the basket so it cooks much more evenly and doesn't require flipping food
For those who don't like hot Buffalo sauce, try using Thai sweet chili sauce instead. Gives them a nice, tangy, sweet and sour flavor. Throw in 2-3 baby red potatoes quartered, and a green or red pepper sliced into strips, and you have a quick and easy lunch.
Hi Coit, thank you for making videos using the air fryer. I love the simplicity of your recipes and intend to try many of them. Today in Canberra, Australia is so miserable, windy, raining and 5oC so I don't want to go to the shops; even though they are close by. Hopefully tomorrow will be better so I can purchase some chicken wings and get baking. You have received lots of positive feed back on this recipe so I'm keen to give them a try.
Thank you so much for the video! My husband just bought a 7 QT air fryer for our family of 5, but I'm still hesitant to open it because of having to cook food in batches! Thank you for addressing this issue and showing me how to cook more at once!! I would love to cook with an air fryer for the amazing results, but what busy mom has so much time to cook a few pieces of food at a time, right?! You are a life saver! Subscribed!!
Thanks for the baking powder tip. I usually make my hot chicken wings like this, they’re wonderful 😋 I also let my wings dry out in the frigid overnight.
Thank you for the recipe I am new to air frying, so I am kind of nervous about trying out my new air fryer, but after watching you I have gained some conference, so I am going to go into the kitchen and do it,
I take entire bottle of Franks, 1/4 cup molasses, 1/2 stick butter and heat on low until everything is melded. Great flavor. Also dust the wings with chili powder
Hands down amazing wings. Made some tonight and tossed in a mango habenero sauce. They were crispy and just plain delicious. This is my new way to cook wings!!
This is a great basic recipe. Then you can add whatever other seasonings you like to the mix, then add almost any sauce you like. Glad I found this recipe!
Works great. I sometimes put them back into the air fryer after I've coated them with Frank's for another 2 minutes at 400 degrees, this makes Frank's into a semi-dry crispy coating that is more to my liking when I'm dipping them into a blue cheese dip.
I made these wings a few months ago. My fryer had burned out so I purchased the brand you used in this vid. Works great, sorry its made in China, but everything is. THE BEST WINGS EVER! THANKS!
I followed your recipe and the chicken wings turned out better than usual. Usually I air fry them at 400f for 20 min and the skin is still not as crispy as desired so I put some more minutes but then the meat is overcooked and dry. I tried 390f for the 20min then 400f for 1 min, the meat was juicy and tender and the skin was as crispy although the bottom side skin is always soft no matter what. I have the same cosori.
Very good recipe. I like the simplicity as I’ve tried others that make me think there’s got to be a better way to season the chicken without making it taste like something other than chicken wings with a little salt and pepper. I also like the cooking for the lowered temperature then cranking it up. That works well. I like the olive oil spray - that is a good addition and I will be using this going forward!
Your channel is exactly what I was hoping for. Clean comfort food. Keep the air fryer recipes coming please. I really enjoy how simple and effective your method is.
Wow these were my first air fryer wings. I see no reason to look any where else. I did add onion powder to the dry mix and I doubled the dry mix ingredients. I had maybe 1.5 lbs. of wings. The only other change I did make was the sauce at the end. In this house IT"S "SWEET BABY RAY"S" Nothing else compares! But GREAT JOB. this is a keeper.
YUUUMMMYYY!! So crispy.. I'm like you. I like my food very crispy. I just found your channel and so happy I did. Looking forward to watchin many more. And, learning lots of air fryer recipes. New subbie for sure. Arlene
I wanted to know what air fryer to get and was pleasantly surprised you have a Cosori which was my first choice. This was so much quicker than fryjng. Thanks
I made some lemon pepper buffalo wings in the Cosori on Friday and O-M-G😭🤤🤤🤤 best wings I’ve ever made! I’m gonna try your baking powder tip too and nice new Cosori🤩🤩
I just made this and it was also my first time using an air fryer. I only had salt and pepper though but then just used hamburger seasoning that I had. It was awesome. I didn't make enough chicken wings though. Will make some more tomorrow. 😁
Just found your channel!! I’m subscribing right now and going to try the potato wedges in my air fryer. I hope they come out half as good as they looked. Cheers 🇦🇺
It's time-consuming to cook food in batches is exactly why l still haven't owned an AF. But your method says otherwise and that changed my mind gonna get myself one. Thanks.
I'm a super picky wings guy and I just made this recipe. I didn't have the "buffalo" version of Frank's, just regular. (4 tb of butter + 1/4 cup Frank's regular) These were the best wings I've ever had. Thanks for the recipe.
I didn’t have baking powder, no olive oil so I had to alter with a little bit of flour and vegetable oil. I guess I missed the real recipe but my husband enjoyed them so much that only thing left were cleaned bones.
Been trying to male my wings crispier in the air fryer. Turned out great!! Definately a keeper. Thanks for the recipe will check put more of your videos!!
Baking powder? Ok, I'll try it. Liked and subbed. You should not use aerosol spray on air fryers, many manufacturers say to not use it as it damages the non-stick spray. I use peanut oil on a pump sprayer. Peanut oil is way better than olive oil, better flavor, higher burning point. It is cheap if you buy it by the gallon.
Just tried this last night! Super delicious, I had no idea about this baking powder secret but it worked beautifully!! And you can't go wrong with Frank's😉 I also LOVE sweet chile sauce on my wings 😋. I also didn't know about that aerosol warning, but it totally makes sense now bc my waffle maker completely deteriorated. Thanks 👍
$24,95 a gallon is totally not cheap. Used to be not anymore as l used to deep dry turkeys, not anymore costs more for the peanut oil than the Turkey....
Two things: * Don't add salt into the seasoning. Wings should not be salty at all. * I have to say that the author's fryer basket is much, much bigger than what we have, and being able to put in that many wings in such a big fryer, with still having enough space between them, simply isn't feasible in a small basket. You still need to do them in smaller batches, otherwise there just isn't enough space and they won't cook sufficiently or correctly (as I've found out). So it would have been helpful for him to emphasize that unless you have a basket as large as his fryer's, you'll probably still need to fry them in batches, otherwise they just won't cook correctly.

Been using this wings recipe for a while and my wings have been coming out better than some restaurants 🍗🔥👍👍

Yeah tasteless useless piece.
agree. get rid of the tips! they are worthless.
Excellent, crispy and super
-delicious chicken wings. Used hickory&brown sugar barbecue sauce with fantastic result.
Your videos are exceptional. In no small part because you speed through the repetitive stuff. Thank you!

Cayenne goes hard on the wings 🔥🔥

You can toss them in a teriyaki glaze before those last two minutes of cooking. You won’t be disappointed! 😁
That sounds amazing!
Wow I'm try that that sound gd

Depends your taste , I always like spicy wings, but I do like an variations. I haven't had teriyaki on so long

I’ve made wings using this recipe and method many times already and I’m always happy with the results. I recommend.
I've used corn starch instead of baking powder and it works just as well.

Made this tonight in a Ninja 15 in 1 and they came out super crispy. Thanks for the recipe.

Baking powder and DRYING is the trick. I trim the wing tips for stock. Just drummettes and flats for me. 😀
Great tips thank you!

Love my air fryer. Definitely don’t need more oil for wings, though. They’re pretty fatty to begin with… that’s why we love em! Thanks for the tips.
I take entire bottle of Franks, 1/4 cup molasses, 1/2 stick butter and heat on low until everything is melded. Great flavor. Also dust the wings with chili powder
