That's wrong my friend. It was one push away from firering the bomb back in the 80's. You have to learn the history.... it was one russian general who has the coolnes to say no.... the keys were in....
I can feel the sorrow that STING feels.
Humanity may not reached that age of enlightenment for awhile_
such a magnificent song...Sting is fantastic!
Magnificent song. Indeed, we share the same biology regardless of ideology! Thank you, Gordon!
Some decades later, this song became relevant again 😢 ... humans
Sends shivers down my spine in today ' s terrible circumstances...hope they do love their and everybody else' s children...
I think this is what the WORLD needs..is men who are Brave enough to do this as British National who has homes in all the continents. I have the honor to say this....Bless you Mr. Sumner.
So true for all sides of the fence - especially now
My dream came true! I was at the concert! I listened to it since childhood and dreamed of going to the concert!Sting you are a great artist!👍👏✊️.
The song touched me deeply in the 80'ies, but it's still an actual topic. The people of Russia are the same humans as we are in all other parts of the world. I hope that we ALL can live one day in real peace together on our beloved planet earth. There is NO reason to kill each other because of might, religion, money....
Just eternally amazing ♥
You can tell that his voice has really improved from the first time he sang this song in public.
Hoffentlich
The world needs this message again! I sure hope the Russians love their children too!
They still do, but the West now trashes Russia over a bunch of Nazis in Ukraine, regardless of how much the people of Ukraine are suffering.
@@RicardoMartinez-jy5lo you poor poor man
russians don't love their children or they wouldn't send them to die in this senseless war.
Magnificent song. Indeed, we share the same biology regardless of ideology! Thank you, Gordon!
Why does this song have to become relevant again?
Chapeau bas Sting !
Beautiful
What a incredible song and sound 👍 thank you sting
What a magnificent rendition of a magnificent piece.
I wish I had been brought here by a different line of thoughs.
Here cries a Spaniard for Ukraine
@@RicardoMartinez-jy5lo No. Yo no soy franquista.
En todos los pueblos hay uno; y yo he ido a dar con el del tuyo (tú).
My favorite sting song. Thanks for sharing.
Great performance.
That transition between Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet and his song is on point.
This performance is full of quotes from Stravinsky and Prokofiev, I believe I also heard Shostakovich in there as well.
I love the intro!
It is from legendary 'Prokofiev - Dance of the Knights.'
+Sergio Skv From the Lieutenant Kije Suite, I think it is called in English. Prokofiev is a wonderful composer, but so are many other great Russian composers as well.
one of my favorite!....wonderful tune!
amazingly beautiful!!! i love this man!!!
Wow,It's Sting-in Moscow Singing Russians!😎
As long as humanity exists, this song will always be relevant.
History repeating itself! So sad.
☹ _"History will teach us nothing"_ as Sting sang
Wow! What an arrangement... some great bass in there
2:34
...presidentS! In original there was only one president. Smart Sting)
well spotted
I might be a doctor, but I will never have the same scope of influencing people's life and the world at large as Sting has.
I can't stop crying.
I feel so much pain.
Pain that tears me apart.
pop version Prokofiev romance lutenant kije, thanks Prokofiev for this music
