When you sew, Do you push to finish or do you take your time?
I like to take breaks. Sometimes I push through if it’s a simple project and I’ve made it at least once.
I like to take my time and enjoy the process, but sometimes I make myself push through because I don't like to start another project before I finish the one at hand. It's good to see you. ❤
@ I like to finish projects too. But sometimes I do abandon a project because the look isn’t going as pictured in my head🙄
@@bluegrassdreams2seams510 I also have that approach.
@SuzySunshine thank you Suzy. I am loving the fact that I don't have to work on so many things at a time. As a professional seamstress, I could have any thing from 3 to 12 orders at a time in different stages of being done. Waiting for fittings extra. Now I love that I can do one at a time.
Coffee ☕ is definitely a MUST before I start the day sewing too! Thanks for sharing a day of your sewing with us and your bike ride to the river. You look beautiful! 🥰❤❤❤
@sewlovelywithgrace thank you Grace and thank you for coming along

Hi Katinka! That was a lot of fun, thanks for taking us along 😁 I've lived by the Missouri and the Mississippi, and rather miss it. I like that red print you're using, and hope that the shirt works out well for you 😘
@lynngates1662 thank you Lynn and thank you for visiting with me
Always a pleasure hanging out with you, Katinka !
@debbieevans7276 thank you, Debbie
Hi Katinka. I enjoyed seeing the Missouri River… I’ve never been there.
I love the top you made. The piece you added looks very intentional… in my opinion. I always enjoy seeing your work.
I used to cut out and make one project at a time… I would sew into the night just to be able to wear the garment the next day. I don’t do that anymore. I am trying to focus on the details that make a project look good and that will
Make me feel good about it. I don’t always do that… but, I’m trying. Happy sewing! ❤ Diann
Hi Diann, thank you for spending time with me sewing. The river is quite impressive and I must say, it scares me a little bit. I agree with you on talking time to sew the detail, it really makes a difference.
love your sewing. i do the same with adding pieces if needed.
Piecing is such a lost art and I love when I find others that also do it.
Love your checked dress katinka..looks so pretty. Your blouse looked great too. Another great vlog thank you for sharing ❤😊
Thank you, I am really happy with it and have been wearing it all the time!
Loved spending the day with you Katinka! 💞
@dizzyquiltsandsews thank you, Izzi
Hi Katinka, so good to see you. That river is beautiful I hope you're enjoying your fall weather. We've had a few "grey" days lately and I just love them! The dress you're wearing looks amazing!!!
Thank you 😊, I am loving the gray fall days. The dress is M7969 and I really love the pattern. Happy sewing

Thank you, Robyn, I stay in a lovely area and am so thankful. Thank you for visiting with me
I piece fabric together to get what I need. I had to do that quite a bit on a jacket. You can’t see it, but it’s a bit thicker in places because of the seams. I wear the jacket🥰
