  •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +23

I had a couple of MX and Enduro bikes from KTM and a few Duke as well. I tried a 790 Adventure R once and I have to say that every KTM has that "Ready to Race" feeling. Their durability is another matter, but as long as they last, they are very good. Great video! 😁

@@NiklasAdv in all fairness it is true that the 1150 is older and doesn’t really compare to the 1290 r. However having ridden the 1200 I found it to be the same, don’t get me wrong they are comfortable bikes and the feel like floating over the road. I had this debate back in 2016. I ultimately went with the BMW. Two of the biggest deciding factors had nothing to do with performance or price.
These bikes are supposedly designed for travel. Which Is why I wanted one upon selling my Harley that I previously used for travel.
After realizing the KTM had shorter mileage intervals, harder self service procedures, and many less dealers. I decided on the BMW.
Just my honest opinion, and a few years old at that. Good luck deciding!!

Great comparison. I like KTM more because of weight advantage and it's off road capabilities
