The difference is Ryan goes to places and locations that oftentimes are given one star reviews due to a single one-time experience or just an angry person. Majority of locations aren't actually bad even though they have one star reviews on them. 😅 However products are different, you shouldn't reach for any star you can just to give a five star review for a video

Just a reminder to anyone thinking about cheaping on Airsoft protective gear, which costs more, 50-150$ pair of goggles, or thousands or dollars in medical bills, and never being able to OR AT THE BEST CASE have hindered eye sight
I bought 15-dollar goggles from Evike that I've been using for years. The biggest thing is to look at the reviews and shoot the goggles plenty of times with your own airsoft gun to make sure they work.
Spending that much on goggles is dumb, mine are 20 and probably the best goggles I've ever had. Just make sure they're actually rated instead of buying cheap nonsense.

That Iron Warrior mask took it like a champ. Sure there was a dent, but you don't go to an airsoft game to take 600 shots to the face. For that price, if it survives 20 eye-saving shots, it's more than good enough - as long as you are not stupid and buy a new one when you see your old one is damaged. As to the plastic - it's not covering any crucial areas. Again - if you take 200 shots to the face then you need to get a new one, but it's on your own stupidity if you don't. I use the same mask, just with an Iron Mesh instead to protect my face (and I always use protective eyewear underneath it), and I can confirm that a few pieces broke off. But I don't take 200 shots to the face per game, I take 1 or 2, and I have had plenty of time to repair the mask in the meantime.

I have the xCortech peq/tracer/mosfet thing and here's what I have to say: It's great in every possible way! The chronographs works (the Guy in the video clearly didn't read the manual, it boths shows FPS and m/s), the mosfet + function of the peq+ tracer allows you to count the bb down and once you get to 0 from whatever max capacity you want, the replica will stop and you'll have to restart the peq via the button.. cool with a real cap mag! The tracer works great and doesn't drain the batteries quickly. I managed to play a whole night without changing them. It also dampens the sound of the shoot a bit. BUT it's all fun until the locking arm of the peq breaks, it's very fragile. Mine broke and now I use Rubber bands to hold it :( But overall, 108€ for a tracer unit + mosfet+ chronograph is pretty cheap!
the first goggles actually have a use and they are for putting under mesh lenses to stop small debris from getting into you're eyes they aren't made for direct impact
the lazer sight and flashlight. and the crono and tracer. are a clear indication of the manufacturer actually going and reading the reviews of their product because hey they actually fixed what was failing.

I have that item in the thumbnail and I actually like it tbh. Aside from the obvious fact it makes my gun look futuristic, it's nice being able to chrono my gun and check its rate of fire. The ammo counter is also nice, though I wish it came with a little switch thing to stick to the magwell to automatically reset. Good when I'm using hicaps and don't have to change mags often tho. Plus the mock suppressor that's part of the system has a tracer unit as well. It still works to this day.
If i have to choose regular chrono or the chrono peq-tracer combo for nearly same price, i would definitely choose the peq-tracer combo. Plus it looks cool

The first goggles seem to just be for shooting targets and protecting from ricochets when shooting targets, not everything for airsoft is for the combat sport, at least 40% of airsoft owners just use them for recreational shooting. As long as the manufacturer and sellers specify that they’re not suitable for the airsoft combat sport, I see no issues with them. That being said, they probably didn’t, judging by the reviews.
A lot of the knockoff lams are made at different quality levels and if you aren't extremely careful when ordering one, it's easy to end up with a crappy version. Some of them have adjustable knobs for the laser and light and are essentially perfect replicas but made of plastic and some are just plastic shells with literally no functionality. So if you are looking for a laser light combo, just be very very careful reading the description and making sure all the info matches up.
I've had the peq and tracer combo for so long and it works so well until now, the "mosfet" thing is ok for non-mosfet gun, at least it can make your gun having burst mode and tell the voltage battery. I run my gun with perun and dont have reason to put that mosfet, still works well. The tracer is awesome. The only downside of it is the battery is not rechargeable. Just buy some rechargable AAA battery and it solves the problem.
For those considering buy the xcortech chrono peq tracer combo, i advise you to find the best rechargeable AAA battery out there with highest voltage. (not every AAA battery in the market has same voltage) If you dont, you have to choose between the tracer or the chrono function at a time. Because there are many sensors running at the same time, it needs more voltage.

I had similar goggles, but the fan has a negligable impact on fogging. Removing the foam stuff did help pretty good, however then you have half a inch of flimsy plastic mesh as your only protection preventing a bb of entering from between your face and the thicker part of the goggles. I would recommend to be very sceprical of cheap fan goggles and to research before buying them.
I bought two of those exact grenades a while ago and I have never felt more scammed, I though I was doing something wrong because they would just randomly decide to not go off, reset, or hold gas, which is really sketchy when you are dealing with pressurized gas. Also the BBs all fall out unless you hold it up so it's pretty much unusable
It'd why I'm cautious on ANY airsoft site because be it a that a bad product slipped through the crack or just they don't care, I have found many that are normally reputable and highly rated still sell some really cheap and nasty/dangerous products
I know your young but save your money and get a good plate carrier or chest rig right away dont get the cheap amazon $50 plate carrier dave and look for carriers that are maybe 80-150. Same with earpro don't get the $40 earpro get earmor off amazon or herangl ear pro. And as for helmets there is a nice helmet with a tightening knob on the back and it's only like $90
I have the Excortech tracer/chrono box. I plug the mosfet into a nicd battery in my pocket as my AEG wasn’t firing well with it plugged in the gun and doing it this way everything works fine so try that.
7:50 That's not scary. It's to be expected. Technically youre supoosed to replace your lens after they're hit. Every hit weakens the plastic. This actually held up ridiculously well. Problem is that you'd have to replace the whole thing every time since the lens isn't removable, unless I'm mistaken. Still wouldn't buy it but yeah, that dent is to be expected. Do the same thing to quality goggles, and it will eventually happen after enough hit.
The peq box torward the end of the video I have 2 of, I love them and the work amazing for cqb. I have had them for over 2 years and other than the glass getting cracked from being shot it works perfectly

im planning on getting a fast bump helmet and railed headsets, any ideas?
I know your young but save your money and get a good plate carrier or chest rig right away dont get the cheap amazon $50 plate carrier dave and look for carriers that are maybe 80-150. Same with earpro don't get the $40 earpro get earmor off amazon or herangl ear pro. And as for helmets there is a nice helmet with a tightening knob on the back and it's only like $90

Agilite has some good non ballistic helmets. I’m not sure for headsets because I don’t have any for the helmets.

I have the Excortech tracer/chrono box. I plug the mosfet into a nicd battery in my pocket as my AEG wasn’t firing well with it plugged in the gun and doing it this way everything works fine so try that.

7:50 That's not scary. It's to be expected. Technically youre supoosed to replace your lens after they're hit.
Every hit weakens the plastic. This actually held up ridiculously well.
Problem is that you'd have to replace the whole thing every time since the lens isn't removable, unless I'm mistaken.
Still wouldn't buy it but yeah, that dent is to be expected.
Do the same thing to quality goggles, and it will eventually happen after enough hit.

all maxx hop clones (and original maxx hop up units) havbe tolerance and compatibility issues. More trouble than they are worth..especially clones
The peq box torward the end of the video I have 2 of, I love them and the work amazing for cqb. I have had them for over 2 years and other than the glass getting cracked from being shot it works perfectly
