The metal and glass BB-s as well. However he made a big mistake at that as well. BB weight will affect fps and muzzle energy. So saying that sniper replica is 550 fps means simply nothing. Glass and metal BBs are usually way more heavy than a plastic BB, and depending on the platform they won't leave the muzzle at the same speed... Depending on the platform, different types of gas may or may not affect muzzle energy. In mws build for example a higher pressure gas only increases felt recoil and rate of fire, but not by a lot either. Also he is showing almost everything in real use on a field, so are they banned really? :D
This hit my feed, and I’m watching in amazement he’s using spam for ballistics test. I don’t do anything airsoft, it was fun to watch and learn. My ballistics test involve ballistics gel and dirt berms
the energy of a bb is determined by the FPS and weight. Not what weapon shoots it. So there is an other reason for the HPA builds fps penalty on most fields. (i would assume fire rate or accuracy)
Accuracy isn’t affected, it’s pretty much the “snappyness” of hpa, aka semi auto fire rate. It’s super easy to get a follow up shot since it’s fast firing with pretty much no delay

My brother once even said something about shooting with friends using real air guns and metal bullets! The kind of guns you get at shooting galleries! The bullets got stuck under some people's skin (7,5 Joule) !
I want to see one of those 70+Rps builds in super slow motion - like Ballistic High Speed slow - just to see how close the BBs are in the air and if they are disturbing the air enough to divert the BBs behind them, since they are so close.
OK thing to remember 1. The 22short 8mm and 9mm blank grenades are QUIETER than a CO2 grenade like a thunder B 2. Joule creep is a PROBLEM because of the HPA issue, it's not that it produces more energy, it's that a heavier bb will spend longer in the barrel being constantly accelerated so will leave the barrel with more energy. So you take a HPA gun that fires at 1j with a 0.2, you put a 0.4 in it for in game and it's actually doing 1.8 to 2j. You can get an aeg to do the same if built for it specifically but the difference is MUCH MUCH SMALLER the max you can get an aeg to do is a 0.2 to 0.3 joule difference between a 0.2 and a 0.4

Love your channel but I'm not sure your science on Hpa guns is correct For example a 0.2g bb fired at 350fps from an aeg has a kinetic energy of 1.14j Now take a 0.2g BB fired from a Hpa build at 350fps it will also have a kinetic energy of 1.14j
An impulse results from mass times speed. Mass is given by the BBs weight and the speed is given by the fps measured by the chrono. There are no other variables to determine the energy of the impact. Meaning 300 fps from an AEG carry exactly the same energy as 300 fps from an HPA given that the BBs weigh the same.

Which is why in the UK, sites are being investigated and shut down for this. Also, Skirmish doesn't allow metal bb officially. What they do is, is look the other way once a games starts which is why everyone is saying they're next to go.
the TRMR 12g shotgun blank grenades are still allowed at some external sites in the UK however the default is to use .22 blank caps instead of the shotgun and 9mm blanks - the manufacturer also lost the patent rights so TRMR's are no longer available to buy new so the resale market for those grenades is mental
HPA Systems do allow raising the FPS which is dangerous. In Paintball we were limited to a standard of 300 FPS. Going back decades to when Paintball first started and the manufacturers of Paintball Markers (ie guns) {we had to be careful because calling them guns could trigger some people negatively}. Tippman came out with the first fully automatic "Marker" and it almost completely killed the game/hobby, because you'd have an experienced player with one of these automatics, just hammering newbies, and this discouraged a lot of beginners because of the cost of entry to that level. So for a long time automatics were banned. But after awhile they got rid of the bullies and the more experienced players stuck to tactics and teaching the beginners, and also beginners were warned ahead of time if customized guns that could fire faster were being used, the Double Trouble, and I think automatics were allowed back on fields, but no one would be taken by Surprise and games were sorted more by equipment and the experience level of the participants. Like restricting games to single shot pump guns.

A rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) is a shoulder-fired rocket weapon that launches rockets equipped with an explosive warhead. Most RPGs can be carried by an individual soldier, and are frequently used as anti-tank weapons. These warheads are affixed to a rocket motor which propels the RPG towards the target and they are stabilized in flight with fins. Some types of RPG are reloadable with new rocket-propelled grenades, while others are single-use. RPGs are generally loaded from the front. RPGs with high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warheads are very effective against lightly armored vehicles such as armored personnel carriers (APCs) and armored cars. However, modern, heavily-armored vehicles, such as upgraded APCs and main battle tanks, are generally too well-protected (with thick composite or reactive armor) to be penetrated by an RPG, unless less armored sections of the vehicle are exploited. Various warheads are also capable of causing secondary damage to vulnerable systems (especially sights, tracks, rear and roof of turrets) and other unarmored targets. The term "rocket-propelled grenade" is from the Russian acronym РПГ (Ручной Противотанковый Гранатомёт, Ruchnoy Protivotankovy Granatomyot), meaning "handheld anti-tank grenade launcher", the name given to early Russian designs. And A minigun is a type of electrically-driven, multi-barreled machine gun that fires a high volume of ammunition in a short amount of time. It's designed to deliver a rapid, sustained rate of fire, typically between 2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute! Here's a brief overview: - Multi-barreled: Typically 3-6 barrels, which rotate to fire in sequence - Electrically-driven: Powered by an external electric motor, rather than traditional recoil or gas operation - High rate of fire: Capable of firing thousands of rounds per minute - Belt-fed: Ammunition is fed from a continuous belt, allowing for sustained fire - Often mounted: On vehicles, aircraft, or tripods, due to its size and weight Miniguns are commonly used in military and law enforcement applications, such as: - Suppressive fire: Pinning down enemy positions with a high volume of fire - Anti-personnel: Engaging multiple targets quickly - Anti-aircraft: Shooting down low-flying aircraft or drones Keep in mind that miniguns are typically restricted to military and law enforcement use, due to their intense firepower and potential for collateral damage. And The M134 Minigun is an American 7.62×51mm NATO six-barrel rotary machine gun with a high rate of fire (2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute).[2] It features a Gatling-style rotating barrel assembly with an external power source, normally an electric motor. The "Mini" in the name is in comparison to larger-caliber designs that use a rotary barrel design, such as General Electric's earlier 20 mm M61 Vulcan, and "gun" for the use of rifle ammunition as opposed to autocannon shells. "Minigun" refers to a specific model of weapon that General Electric originally produced, but the term "minigun" has popularly come to refer to any externally powered rotary gun of rifle caliber. The term is sometimes used loosely to refer to guns of similar rates of fire and configuration, regardless of power source and caliber. And A nuclear weapon, commonly referred to as a "nuke," is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions, either fission (splitting of atomic nuclei) or a combination of fission and fusion (the merging of atomic nuclei). The energy released from these reactions is immense, far exceeding that of conventional explosives. Nukes are capable of causing massive destruction over a wide area, releasing energy in the form of a blast, intense heat, and radiation. The radiation from a nuclear explosion can be lethal and has long-term effects, including genetic mutations and environmental contamination. The first nuclear weapons were developed during World War II as part of the Manhattan Project, leading to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Nuclear weapons are categorized into two primary types: atomic bombs (A-bombs) and hydrogen bombs (H-bombs). The atomic bomb relies on the fission of heavy atomic nuclei, such as uranium-235 or plutonium-239, to release energy. In contrast, hydrogen bombs, or thermonuclear weapons, use a two-stage process where a fission bomb initiates a fusion reaction between isotopes of hydrogen, such as deuterium and tritium, releasing even more energy. The yield of hydrogen bombs can be thousands of times greater than that of atomic bombs, making them the most powerful weapons ever created by humanity. The detonation of a nuclear weapon results in a

Velocity of BB indirectly correlates to energy. So that means it doesn't make sense that energy stays same with fps drop unless you are using heavier BB. since kinetic energy is calculated with: 1/2m x v² where m is mass of BB in kg and v is velocity of BB in m/s.

0:40 this may be because mine shoots more than just BBs but mine is a very affordable off the shelf unit and its rated for around 940 ft/s and goes higher if i overcharge it a little (still within the factor of safety many parts are actually rated for) so 550 isnt all that impressive especially if that number is just to make it permissable on fields (which i think tend to top out around 500 ft/s for snipers ) And no matter where the energy comes from if velocity and mass are the same you get the same energy regardless of what put it there.

Depending on the platform, different types of gas may or may not affect muzzle energy. In mws build for example a higher pressure gas only increases felt recoil and rate of fire, but not by a lot either.
Also he is showing almost everything in real use on a field, so are they banned really? :D

(Proceeds to pull out a semi-auto, 8rnd burst, 250 fps, 240 rnd mag, 32 rps pistol)
the energy of a bb is determined by the FPS and weight.
@@TheRealSPOOKAirsoft sounds plausible.
@@No_Way_NO_WAYi personally run hpa. It’s true
FPS doesn’t determine the energy of the bb, the joules do. The fps just shows how fast it is going, the joules is the literal energy it has.

OK thing to remember 1. The 22short 8mm and 9mm blank grenades are QUIETER than a CO2 grenade like a thunder B

Love your channel but I'm not sure your science on Hpa guns is correct
For example a 0.2g bb fired at 350fps from an aeg has a kinetic energy of 1.14j
Now take a 0.2g BB fired from a Hpa build at 350fps it will also have a kinetic energy of 1.14j
He said grenade right this time!😊
Guh-nade.

Skirmish Airsoft in England allows metal bbs
Which is why in the UK, sites are being investigated and shut down for this. Also, Skirmish doesn't allow metal bb officially. What they do is, is look the other way once a games starts which is why everyone is saying they're next to go.

What a load of nonsense, any evidence?
the TRMR 12g shotgun blank grenades are still allowed at some external sites in the UK however the default is to use .22 blank caps instead of the shotgun and 9mm blanks - the manufacturer also lost the patent rights so TRMR's are no longer available to buy new so the resale market for those grenades is mental

The "Paintball Trigger" must have come in well after I was out of the hobby, because I don't remember ever seeing one.
What about the Gatling trigger, it’s not built for airsoft but should function on one still. Basically turns your trigger into a rotating crank like a Gatling gun, you just have to spin a little knob
I was a CQB pistol player and I used an HK45 Tokyo Marui shortstroked with 0.25g balls and blackgas, the organizers knew me and asked me before each game to go through the chroni because they had a lot of complaints against me but I didn't have much choice to make the difference against SMG or CQB AR.
Velocity of BB indirectly correlates to energy. So that means it doesn't make sense that energy stays same with fps drop unless you are using heavier BB. since kinetic energy is calculated with: 1/2m x v² where m is mass of BB in kg and v is velocity of BB in m/s.
I have a steal BB CO2 powered Sig Saur, and when I shot it at a brick wall, it made a sizeable crater after ricocheting and embedding the pellet into a tree trunk.

Don't know if you'll actually read this comment, but I'm so glad I found your channel
0:40 this may be because mine shoots more than just BBs but mine is a very affordable off the shelf unit and its rated for around 940 ft/s and goes higher if i overcharge it a little (still within the factor of safety many parts are actually rated for) so 550 isnt all that impressive especially if that number is just to make it permissable on fields (which i think tend to top out around 500 ft/s for snipers )
And no matter where the energy comes from if velocity and mass are the same you get the same energy regardless of what put it there.
I don't know what state you live in but in Colorado, the ONLY thing you mentioned that's "baned" is the metal or glass bbs. I quoted that because it's not like they were ever allowed in the first place. At my outdoor feild we can use every other thing you mentioned.
