I def woulda laughed, but even more def woulda checked on him. (sorry people running into things makes me laugh. Happens to me more often than I'd wish it would XD)
It's kind of the unspoken law, going beyond rules here, that actual injuries like Dutches basically stop the game. No more shooting around him unless you want to be labeled a try hard *unt, and no one wants to be a try hard bunt. Like Dutch says all the time, you're there to have fun. Someone hurt isn't fun, so it makes sense that everyone there is tired, but like MMO video games, you're never always allies or enemies, so you might as well keep as friends and rivals. But it's like you said; major props to the players for taking care of him.
The laughter, the remorse, the tactics, the dominance, the suspense, the pain, the community, the help, the inspiration, the new nickname, the replays, the lesson learned, ... this video had it all. Another great job Dutch. Glad you are OK. When those dudes came to help that right there is what all of this is about, one helping another. Give those guys all a high five n a beer.
Wish it wasn't due to that unfortunate circumstance, but I'm glad to have made a new friend that day and meet the guy who first inspired me to get into airsoft at the MiR Factory in Kankakee, IL. Really glad to know your accident wasn't too serious and you were able to continue to play the rest of the day. Thank you for the personal shoutout and for mentioning my team (@havocdevgroup). You are truly an inspiration to many in the community and I look forward to seeing you again in the future!
DUDE! The Legend himself, Jason! Thank you so much for takin care of me and pulling me through that. Your perspective also enhanced the result, and I appreciate everything man. Being able to inspire good people like you makes it all worth it. Inspiration goes both ways - your gear is CLEAN! You’re a real one and I’d love to run into you again next time I’m in the MidWest! Maybe Sky Shield?!
Second time you've had something happened to you, first that fall a few weeks ago and now this, you really are an accident prone hooligan. Glad your alright, can't wait for the next episode
Shoutout to all the guys that came over to you after you hit your head. What a bunch of stand up dudes. It’s nice to see them care for another player the way they all stopped and made sure you were okay instead of just playing over/around you
dude being 10 years apart from my younger brother. I've always wanted to play airsoft as a regular but never really had the money until starting my own business making custom woodwork for ppl in 2020 (despite all the odds). I can truly now afford airsoft, my brother and I have never been closer. Its always hard to bond with a wide age gap with siblings and airsoft truly brought us closer as brothers.
dutch i just have to say that your camera setup is absolutely perfect. there's no intense shakiness, everything is caught in frame, and it's overall very smooth and makes for a great viewing experience. you must've put a lot of time into perfecting them.
EXCELLENT! 👏👏👏👏👏 Easily one of the best Airsoft videos ever made! Amazing editing, content, suspense & payoff. Dutch's comments are spot on and for newer players it's a master class in tactics and situational awareness. Thank goodness it wasn't a more serious injury.
I wear a hat too and seeing Jason's perspective (13:24) on how hard you hit your head makes me wanna wear helmet! Glad to see everyone caring for your well-being
This is what I love about airsoft, both teams dropped what they're doing to make sure you're ok, I always stop playing to check on people whenever something happens
watched a fair few of your videos, not only are they very well put together, but your attitude towards not abusing a dominant position to the point of demoralising the opposition got me to subscribe, great work Dutch! Good job to the guys that chatted to you to make sure you were ok as well, GG boys
that looked like it hurt a whole bunch, i hope your okay now and is fully recovered, i just wonder how it was possible for you to fall back like that - the amount of people that were genuinely worried though warms my heart and the fact you didn't want to stop the game for the rest is just wholesome, you are really a great guy and inspire so many people
@@FeedMeChaos1 Hm, did u hit the back of your head? If you did that would make sense because you would've hit the primary visual cortex at the back of the brain in the occipital lobe... if you hit that part hard enough you can actually go temporarily blind.
@@centurionyt431 uh, kinda? It was like the back/left side Although thanks for the blindness point, that might explain why I went completely blind in my left eye a few years ago before the fall
I just realized the practicality of wearing tac-helmets in airsoft. It may not dampen the impact of bullets or catch shrapnel like they do for actual operators but they'll sure come in handy keeping your head safe when maneuvering through dangerous areas. I'll definitely get one when I start airsofting.
there is also REAL non ballistic helmets for operators that are lighter than ballistic helmets. If I can make a suggestion for what helmet you should get: "FMA Helmet Fast SF Tactical" its a very good replica of the real FAST bump helmet from the company FMA that even has a bike helmet certification in the EU, so yu can be sure it protects your head its also fairly cheap at 70 bucks if you dont like that model you can get any other helmet that FMA makes, they are generally speaking the best airsoft replicas and one of the few that even have accurate measurements for the mounts (so that you can easily use real equiptment)
Big reason why i love milsim community is because everyone is so nice and willing to give advice, help, checkup, etc, and just make sure your good when things like this happens. for those that might think he was getting crowded because hes dutch, i cant say that might not be part of it, but usually when stuff like this happens everyone gives a hand. such a good community
For Dutch and those who wear ball caps, I highly recommend getting a "hard hat insert" for some minor protection. It's called "Ergodyne Skullerz 8945F(x)" and worth every penny (about $11-13). It does add some height and feel a little awkward to wear but the benefits outweigh the negatives especially to protecting your noggin from denser surfaces. The insert is not as good as a helmet but better than just a ball cap as it is a hard plastic with some foam to reduce impacts. It has the side benefit of mitigating bb impacts too which you will still hear/feel. BTW great content, keep up the great work.
The guy wearing the Brodie helmet at 1:33 was foreshadowing the unfortunate incident and the precautionary lesson to all of us here, I’m glad Dutch is okay…although in the future, I hope to see him rock a helmet in his videos!

I've worked under vehicles that were positioned on car lifts and subtly walked into one of those support beams, it hurts. Be careful out there guys. Dutch, you are a real inspiration to the sport.

Yo Dutch you can get hard plastic bump cap inserts for baseball caps it’s not as good as a proper helmet but if you bang you head again it’ll take the majority of the force and prevent any cuts
always nice to see people like this in airsoft. People that are willing to help you, and not just ignore and keep on playing as if it didn't happen. Good sportsmanship is what keeps this sport alive

Love your content, I'm glad you're OK and I can't wait for more of your tour of the US and the BFLA V game play video!!!!
Dutch you and Airsoft Alfonse inspired me to get into airsoft. I have had a few incidents like this but not nearly as dangerous. I will always be wearing a helmet from now on. Thanks!!!
Damn bro rung that bell... but glad you seem ok and hopefully nothing longterm. At least all the players at that place seem really cool and professional thats a huge plus
Its easily done mate, just hope your ok cause concussions can creep up on you. I once gave myself a concussion by walking in to my toilet door frame. Im 5'5ish and back in highschool was rushing to get ready and decided to quickly use our houses outside toilet except i misjudged the door frame and cracked my head right off it. Sure enough went on to school only to have to go home feeling sick. I probably need a helmet for life lol but your right there's no reason not to wear one in airsoft. Wishing you good health my dude
That really rang your bell!! Helmets!! Good to see you're not too bad, hopefully no long term effects! EDIT glad to see your message about not continuing after something like this, definitely something to cut your day short!
I did a very similar thing in my first ever game, I ran straight into a low wooden doorframe... If I wasn't wearing a hat/cap I'd have been K/Od for sure. Respect to you for not letting it ruin you day, Dutch ❤
those guys are so awesome. Im slowly collecting my gear to get into airsoft (its expensive so i gotta go piece by piece) and videos like this of people being genuinely good people is awesome. you see so many crazy airsofter videos its so awesome to see such a great example of good people playing airsoft. one of the reasons i wanna get in is i wanna meet poeple like this
The timing of this video is great, because I literally just ordered a Bump helmet the day before you uploaded it and it came today. the head is kinda important, and with tons of areas to hit it in my local outdoor site its good to have a helmet.
Hey Dutch. Same here. You’re one of my inspirations how I started playing Airsoft. I am 45 years old and just started few months ago. The adrenaline, the tactics, the teamwork and most especially the camaraderie are why I continue to play. I always debate on wearing my hat or my helmet. After watching this video, helmet it is 👍💯
Great group of people! That’s true sportsmanship when someone goes down like that we should all be so compassionate no matter which team we play for. Glad you’re ok Dutch! That could’ve been a lot worse than a concussion. Thanks for your teaching and the games and videos! Good job all around!
Outch... I think you must have been in a lot of pain because usually when you don't say a word... it's because the shock was violent... I was afraid you had fallen from a certain height in the previous video. Get well soon Dutch 💪
good video dutch I'm your fan , and that's what airsoft is about honor respect camaraderie, people stopped to see how you were doing this and airsoft . I hope you are feeling better hug from Portugal.
You need to get a hard helmet. Glad you're okay. I've been relaxing at home for the past 6 months because a tree limb fell on my head and neck and still have headaches and pain so I've been watching your videos. Love the commentary on these.
Dutch you are one of the reasons I want to do airsoft so much. These videos show the good, the bad the ugly and the stupid fun that this sport can bring out in people. Keep up the amazing videos, maybe one of these days I'll get to meet you out there (After college that is).
Dam that was a wack, glad your ok for sure. Jason's POV was gruesome. Another reason why i love Airsoft, when you have a good bunch of people that are genuinely the best human beings.
Ouch! I worked residential construction and whenever crawling through trusses I would would take my baseball cap off or at least switch it around. Every time I hit my head before that was because I couldn't see what I would have ducked for due to the visor of the hat. But since thats not an option. I agree. A helmet might be a good idea especially is places like this. Glad you are alright!
Definitely a big fan of this field, played it last week, very unique place to play. Luckily the worst I've gotten here was a cut leg from sliding. Do you have any plans to play Conflicts 9 at Blastcamp this year? Or even Red Dawn at Badlandz tomorrow? Nice vid
Dang. Ouch. But apart from that, great gameplay as usual! From other videos I've seen of events here, they have really improved the cover/obstacles in the first floor (the pallets, porta-potty doors, other junk).
So glad it wasn't any worse cause you hit that bar pretty hard! Hope you were doing ok afterwards since stuff like that tends to linger on. Plus, gotta love the sportsmanship in airsoft; it's actually far better than most in ball sports.
The build up was pretty amazing not gonna lie. Hope your brother didn't let you nap in the rv after that one being concuss you want to stay awake as long as possible. Great video dutch can't wait for the next
Playing in abandoned buildings is fun, but there is always that element danger that you as a player have to accept and be wary of when you're going into it.
Situational awareness. You got tunnel vision on what was in front of you and didn't pay attention to your surroundings. It's a common mistake. But pet this be a lesson if you are especially in a new area check surroundings. This happened to me a couple of times. As people in the military keep your head on a seivel.
@Dutch The Hooligan that would also be factor into what happened. As you said, wear a helmet. It will really help for new locations you have not been to.
@Dutch The Hooligan it is extremely difficult. I agree. Just think of what you want to do with a helmet and what type you want for the future. Hope your noggin didn't get shaken up too much. I am being serious since that looked extremely painful.
Danm bro hope your heads OK, bet you was seeing double. For a week with that impact, but it does show something. The amount of players coming to your aid that's what airsofts all about! Love ya content dude keep it up stay safe and next time duck 😊
This is what good sportsmanship, great play respect, quick assistance, and good people looks like. You do inspire people to be good, fair. This just shows how much the air soft community does respect you. I don’t play but I watch your videos. I am now subscribed and enjoy watching your videos. Btw. Get that head checked man. That was a straight up KO moment. GG and keep sending it.
Had it not been for my helmet last weekend, i would have stitches in my scalp from a tree branch that i did not see. Helmets are my coconut’s best friend ❤ lol. Glad you are ok 😊
super wholesome and awesome to see everyone immediately stop and come to help, I mean you would think that would be the normal thing to do, but still cool to see everyone trying to help so quick, mad respect to everyone there for sure. If I was going to play airsoft, I would want it to be with people like that for sure!
Great honorable gameplay, Dutch! You inspire me to play airsoft more. I'm glad that you're all right and that everyone was so nice and made sure that you're OK. I was worried when I heard you had an accident.

OUCHHHH. you went down quick man. Good that everyone around was happy to help and kept you safe!
those guys are so awesome. Im slowly collecting my gear to get into airsoft (its expensive so i gotta go piece by piece) and videos like this of people being genuinely good people is awesome. you see so many crazy airsofter videos its so awesome to see such a great example of good people playing airsoft. one of the reasons i wanna get in is i wanna meet poeple like this
Thank you, Jason! Thank you for making sure our boy was ok! The rest of y’all too, of course.
The timing of this video is great, because I literally just ordered a Bump helmet the day before you uploaded it and it came today.
the head is kinda important, and with tons of areas to hit it in my local outdoor site its good to have a helmet.
3:02 Dutch do you play Rust? Because I swear that's one of the dance animations you can make your character do 😂
Hey Dutch. Same here. You’re one of my inspirations how I started playing Airsoft. I am 45 years old and just started few months ago.
The adrenaline, the tactics, the teamwork and most especially the camaraderie are why I continue to play.
I always debate on wearing my hat or my helmet. After watching this video, helmet it is 👍💯
I just won 3rd place shooting competition today 🤩🤙💯
Jeez that was crazy I hope you feel better now ❤
Great group of people!
This is what I like to see, good gameplay from both teams and good sportsmanship it’s so refreshing
if you was any other injured you had a whopping 6 guys ready to carry you out Dutch 😂😂 amazing community You was in The BEST hands at that moment
good video dutch I'm your fan , and that's what airsoft is about honor respect camaraderie, people stopped to see how you were doing this and airsoft . I hope you are feeling better hug from Portugal.
You need to get a hard helmet. Glad you're okay. I've been relaxing at home for the past 6 months because a tree limb fell on my head and neck and still have headaches and pain so I've been watching your videos. Love the commentary on these.
Yikes! Hoping you have a full recovery. Cheers dude
@@DutchTheHooligan thanks. Hopefully you do as well.
Dutch you are one of the reasons I want to do airsoft so much. These videos show the good, the bad the ugly and the stupid fun that this sport can bring out in people.
Keep up the amazing videos, maybe one of these days I'll get to meet you out there (After college that is).
That 2nd point of view, he got a perfect view of it. It made me yell “ohhh!”
Dam that was a wack, glad your ok for sure. Jason's POV was gruesome. Another reason why i love Airsoft, when you have a good bunch of people that are genuinely the best human beings.
Indeed Dutch that was an excellent mario jump into that beam. That coment gave me quite the chuckle. :D
Jason is the goat love how he jumped right in to help we need more people like him in this sport
Dude your my favorite airsoft player to watch
The sound design/music is wild. Hope you got checked out afterward, I bet you were feeling that one for days after
Really enjoy your videos, Desert Fox, Airsoft Obsessed, Airsoft Alfonse & yourself are my favorites. Keep it up!!!
Definitely a big fan of this field, played it last week, very unique place to play. Luckily the worst I've gotten here was a cut leg from sliding. Do you have any plans to play Conflicts 9 at Blastcamp this year? Or even Red Dawn at Badlandz tomorrow? Nice vid
The only thing I need to hit is Mir’s Sky Shield. Otherwise I’m just tryin to get through the tour footage 😅
Solid hit! Youch! Awesome that Jason got it on camera from another perspective.
“I dont wanna be cheeky, I wanna be sneaky” 4:18 …. If that isn’t a t-shirt, i don’t know what is 😂
Dang. Ouch.
But apart from that, great gameplay as usual!
From other videos I've seen of events here, they have really improved the cover/obstacles in the first floor (the pallets, porta-potty doors, other junk).
“it’s encouraging to see women getting into the sport and having fun!”
immediately kills a woman
When he said "that loadout video you did in 2018" i freaked cause that was the first video of yours I saved! god i love this sport
That happened to me once too... since then Im wearing a bump cap under my balaclava. You don't really feel it but it helps a lot in these cases
Also headshots don't hurt that much 😂
So glad it wasn't any worse cause you hit that bar pretty hard! Hope you were doing ok afterwards since stuff like that tends to linger on. Plus, gotta love the sportsmanship in airsoft; it's actually far better than most in ball sports.
1:33 DING lmao
very satisfying sound
That helmet is great!
yup, i heard that and had a good laugh
that was the best. ahaha
Ouch... 🤕 that looked painful... Hope you're ok!
Situational awareness. You got tunnel vision on what was in front of you and didn't pay attention to your surroundings. It's a common mistake. But pet this be a lesson if you are especially in a new area check surroundings. This happened to me a couple of times. As people in the military keep your head on a seivel.
Honestly I think the brim of my hat covered my view of the pole during my swift retreat. No excuses I should wear a helmet.
@Dutch The Hooligan that would also be factor into what happened. As you said, wear a helmet. It will really help for new locations you have not been to.
@@setsuna200 The rest of the trip utilizes a hat. Hard to perfect and develop a new head setup when on the road.
@Dutch The Hooligan it is extremely difficult. I agree. Just think of what you want to do with a helmet and what type you want for the future. Hope your noggin didn't get shaken up too much. I am being serious since that looked extremely painful.
@@DutchTheHooligandude I was so worried about the np nose protection 😂😅😭
Danm bro hope your heads OK, bet you was seeing double. For a week with that impact, but it does show something. The amount of players coming to your aid that's what airsofts all about! Love ya content dude keep it up stay safe and next time duck 😊
Youre the reason i started airsoft man, I love your videos so much. Keep up the work
This is what good sportsmanship, great play respect, quick assistance, and good people looks like. You do inspire people to be good, fair. This just shows how much the air soft community does respect you. I don’t play but I watch your videos. I am now subscribed and enjoy watching your videos. Btw. Get that head checked man. That was a straight up KO moment. GG and keep sending it.
LOVE YOU DUTCH!!
Duch, your edition is fkng incredible.
"Watch in 4k60 with headphones!"
Me : watch in 240p because of my shitty internet
F
@@DutchTheHooligan I hope your head is fine tho
Had it not been for my helmet last weekend, i would have stitches in my scalp from a tree branch that i did not see. Helmets are my coconut’s best friend ❤ lol. Glad you are ok 😊
what do you reccommend my first airsoft gun should be?
Novritsch’s SSR4. $250 for an assault rifle with a free parts warranty for 25 years.
Here come the generic m4 comments
Novritsch makes some good rifles and sidearms
Great vid as always, nasty boink to the swede glad your okay! Great to see stand up players and all rounds good guys.
That response was great, genuine concern for another human. Ya love to see it.
Love your videos and the vibe bro keep up the good work ❤️❤️
Bro absolutely love your content can’t wait for more. also you are a airsoft god
super wholesome and awesome to see everyone immediately stop and come to help, I mean you would think that would be the normal thing to do, but still cool to see everyone trying to help so quick, mad respect to everyone there for sure. If I was going to play airsoft, I would want it to be with people like that for sure!
Great honorable gameplay, Dutch! You inspire me to play airsoft more. I'm glad that you're all right and that everyone was so nice and made sure that you're OK. I was worried when I heard you had an accident.
