    Final video of the year!
    Filmed this quite a while ago and just got around to finishing it up. As you can tell by the weather and leaves on trees haha.
    Enjoy the video and happy new year!

    Less noise is a Good Thing! Jaguar demonstrates maturity in that regard; it can't necessarily be said for others...

    The coupe looks so much better than the convertible. The lines of the car get lost with the convertible.

    Another great review Eddie!! 👏
    But may i suggest to invest in some mounting equipment so that the POV could be better than holding the cam and driving at the same time!? 😉

    All the original sounds (burbles) can be uploaded in a tune from Velocity AP or others. It'll sound exactly like the earlier SVR & will give you around 700hp crank.

      Can pull fuse 15 to keep the valves open all the time. Apparently it improves things a lot.

    Eddie, I'm guessing you didn't film this in December as the dash said 65 degrees. That would be amazing for Illinois in the winter time. Sad to see this go. Thanks for the video!

    Great video! How does it compared to Lexus lc500’s exhaust?

    • @EddieX
      @EddieX  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This was still a bit more 'raucous', especially on those upshifts. Lexus seems like a 'cleaner' sound. Both fit the personalities of the cars well, but I will say I was more surprised by how good the LC500 sounded!

    I feel like this latest F Type has lost all its original personality and charm. And I know a couple people who owned one and had ongoing problems and always at the dealership.

      The latest iteration of this car is actually pretty good. They’ve pretty much worked out the issues at this point. They are using Bosch electrics now, which they say has greatly improved reliability.

    • @EddieX
      @EddieX  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I also have heard those stories, but my friend had his for many years and miles and didn't have any major issues.

      @@EddieX Same here man, I have friends and family that own them…No issues to speak of. I always loved this car. I too at one point was a bit scared of reliability, but when you actually take the time to look into this car they are actually quite good. There were a a few things along the way in its development cycle like any car, but Jaguar is a company that addresses issues. The current modern car is in a pretty good spot.
      Just pulled the trigger on a 2024 R myself.

      @@Dejan_23Unlimited Not that it matters, but for the record I like both designs. The new design serves to make the gen 1 car dated looking. This is why gen 1 owners don’t like it. My opinion. It is also more aggressive looking in my view, but this stuff is subjective. Again, my opinion only.
      As for the sound, you can get some of that back by pulling fuse 15 on the new car. Burble tune is for juveniles anyway. That would get old after a week. I’m prefer the new car with the option to pull that fuse to the craziness of the SVR for instance.
      To each their own. You don’t like the new gen car that’s fine, you have an opinion. I’m not gonna be a dweeb and tell you to grow up because your opinion differs from mine. I originally disagreed with you in a one word post. That’s all.
