I read on the gtr manual that noise ocurrs when its cold or you make your first turn left or right when you turn your car on not sure if only in cold weather onky amd its normal .is it the same click? Also what does the nut you tighten actually do for safety? When the brake amd the discs are held by 5 nuts?
@@taingeryes true ..also when u go in reverse it makes a clicking noise...the owners manual has a lot of information when i read it i always realize something new
@ScolarshipBoy1984 no, there is a pin that keeps the axel nut from completely coming off. If it does some how, then the axle can come our, but it think it's highly unlikely to
Good job fellow batallion! I was thinking of taking the wheel caps off instead of taking the wheels off.
I thought the same thing, but I don't know for the socket will clear and if the pin is in the way...but this will help
From my research these have to be done yearly on a R35 GT-R. They naturally work loose.
Especially if you're using launch control

It holds the axel to the hub. For my temp doesn't make a difference
The gtr's rear diff makes a loud metallic popping noise when it's cold and turning, goes away once everything is at operating temp
