If you drop it once, do everything. Replace every gasket, hardline, etc for peace of mind. It’s the dream car brother, don’t cut corners. I wish to be in your shoes someday
Dude this video helped a lot to spot my problem on my gtr too. I replace gasket on the return feeding line and it still leaking. Now i know what the problem is.
Cory is hilarious because he seems like the nicest person on TH-cam but he clapping back at people in the comments and on instagram 🤣🤣 love your vids bro ✊🏾
Could you possibly do me favor when you reinstall. Could you get some good pics on how the ecu is mounted? I had a shop take mine out and I’m left to put it back in but for the life of me, I couldn’t see where it went exactly
Just motivates me seeing someone the same age as me with this car collection and crib. 💪🏽 and finding out you have a football background like me is even more interesting
You can do it that way but undoing the 4 harness connectors is WAYYYY easier than undoing all the plugs for things like the injectors, ignition coils, etc.. even though fishing the connectors back in is a slight pain.
@@Speedycory6 wow so I guess this engines are really reliable, do you know if it had any rebuild or its original miles? I saw one gtr with 140k miles original power train I was impressed, thank you for the answer
Great video you did an awesome job. One thing I would do though put a jack out of the ass into the car so the car won’t fall off the lift better to be safe than sorry
I'm pretty sure I won't ever need this info but still watched it all 🤣 great video bro.
Haha man you never know! 😂 the VQ and VR are very similar so something may over lap 🤣
@@Speedycory6 I have the VR 30 🤔

Wish I had friends like this. Lol none of my friends are mechanically inclined but me 🤦🏾♂️ I have a GTR and want to do stuff like this

Haha man! I really am a nice person! It’s just sometimes people try to take advantage of my kindness so I clap back 😂
First time dropping a motor in general, and first motor drop is a GTR engine 😂..i give you props brotha..awesome job
Haha thank you brotha! Definitely was a confident booster 🙌🏽💪🏽
Hi :) How mutch time did you use to drop the engine ?

Yessssirr 💪🏽💪🏽 and that’s what’s it all about! Inspiring people around me. Especially transitioning from a athlete to a businessman
@@Speedycory6 yessirrr definitely on point with transitioning from athletes to business men!

Why in the world did you disconnect the EFI harnass from the ECU in lieu of unplugging the few connections on the engine? Crazy.
You can do it that way but undoing the 4 harness connectors is WAYYYY easier than undoing all the plugs for things like the injectors, ignition coils, etc.. even though fishing the connectors back in is a slight pain.
@@etay719 yea I agree with you. I feel that it’s waaaay easier to do that from the ECU then the plugs from the motor
Put a jack stand on the back of the car
Can you do this without a lift?
Yes you can! A lot of the members in the GTR Facebook groups said they were able to do without a lift in 3/4 hours!
How many miles you have when you had the leak? I own a 2020 I hope it never happens 😂
I got the vehicle at auction so I’m not sure how long it was leaking at! But it was at 120k miles

Thank you and yes I completely agree with you! Thank you for the tip!
While you’re in there….upgrade and modify hahahaha
