Genius! As a former picky eater I'll keep this in mind for my future kids.

Another winning video! This advice totally works, I am shocked! I may need to up it to 2 bites because my kiddo is 4 and is a pretty healthy eater. But I got him to try a whole piece of cauliflower last night and pork chops (which he said he wouldn't touch). But one bite of everything, more of anything! Genius! THANK YOU! Wish I started this sooner.

Way back in the day I had to eat a can of whoop@$$ before the veggies were gone. I was going to use that same philosophy now that I have a kid, but I see this is more humane.

Great info!! I would go back in time and send it to my mother in law, my brother in law only eats plain pasta and coffee because he was a picky eater and she never applied any consequences😵

I like this idea but here's my problem
My kids are 1,1,3,4,6 and need their food pretty cold to eat it. Usually I prep a portion for them and let it cool down and then serve mine and my husband's plate and then we eat. If they want to eat more after trying their small portions of food and they'll ask for seconds of something the food will be hot.

Thank you for your comment. Sounds like a great family! There are other videos on the mealtime battles playlist with more suggestions. Hope that helps! 😊

I have a 16 month old and she had learned that if she doesn’t like anything on her plate or if she only eats a little bit of it, she will ask for a snack immediately after her meal. Lol would this system still apply then or do you think it may be a bit complicated for her at this stage? Love you videos and thanks for all you do! ❤

Remember every response you give to a child’s behavior becomes an expectation and then a habit.
If you allow snacks after a meal, that’s what she will expect. Don’t do it. She either eats the meal or she waits until next meal.
A little hunger can be a good lesson. 😊
