    I love how you show clearly how and what to do if they don’t comply. Thankyou

    I love your channel. I really underestimated the "training" it takes with children. I am determined to train my children. I have a 2.5 year old and 1.5 month old, both boys :). They obey others but not me. Working from home really confused our boundaries. They learned that mommy is working or i.e distracted and cannot follow through. I am fixing this now.

    Thank you! These tips are so needed! I Was literally just wondering how to do this with my 18 month old who recently tried to bolt out onto the street as I’m getting his baby sister out of the car! We live right by the road and that’s where he always wants to go when we are outside and when I call for him he just grins and runs the opposite direction.

      That is very scary, isn’t it?
      There is another similar video about teaching your child not to run away in public.
      I’ll send a link!

    Hello. Great information. When is toddlerhood finished? Will these videos work.on a 4 year old?

    • @MommyAnswerLady
      @MommyAnswerLady  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can practice obedience with a four year old too!

    Well… I can’t swat kids that aren’t mines. I wish, but it’s illegal😅

    Thank you for this video! I’ve been practicing this with my 21mo and she comes 90% of the time, but I wonder if it’s too early to start explaining consequences? At what age do you start reinforcing with words and actions?

    • @MommyAnswerLady
      @MommyAnswerLady  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A child can understand what you are saying much earlier than they can express things with words.
      Actions also speak. A child that age can understand what you expect once you have shown them and established it.

    What else could you do as an uncomfortable consequence besides giving them a swat?

    • @MommyAnswerLady

      What’s wrong with a light swat on the diaper? If you want to think of something else…be my guest. Don’t be afraid to be firm as long as you are not abusive.

      I totally agree and what great about this is you can use it from an early age and even if you have to repeat the light spankings a few times in the training because they are only light spankings or swats it's ok I
