One small point I would make is Apple didn't remove a Thunderbolt port in order to put the MagSafe port there. They removed a Thunderbolt port to put the HDMI port there.
Terry, thanks for the great video review! I upgraded my 2019 Intel 15 inch MBP to the 2023 M3 Pro MBP 16 inch and it is real fast! I also have the 15 inch MBA midnight with the M2 and that machine is pretty nice.
I’m trying to decide between the 15 inch air and the 16 inch pro. Which one do you enjoy more?
@@mannyrubero The M3 Pro 16 inch MacBook Pro is the far better option in my opinion. I do video and photo editing on it and the 36GB RAM is enough for me. If you do not video or photo edit much then the 15 inch M2 MacBook Air would be a real great option for you. I've used both and have stuck with the Pro.

Just bought the 14” M3 Pro MacBook Pro with 14 Core. Hope it’s a big upgrade from my old 2019 intel based MacBook Pro

Upgrade if Intel Mac, if you need to. Do not upgrade if M1 Pro, if you're meeting your workflow objectives. Easy peasy.
You can get vivid, and the brightness will be 50% better no matter if its M1, M2, or M3

I thought dual displays is not available on M3 Pro chips due to not being compatible with Display Link? Are you using it with a dock or?
Nope no dock, the M3 Pro chip can support two external monitors
I am so confused! I have read so many times that these docks or hubs cannot handle dual monitors due to MacBook not supporting MTS.
Let me help. The MacBook Pro with the base M3 doesn't support more than one external display so a dock without displaylink won't be able to support 2 external monitors. An M3 Pro Macbook Pro can support 2 external monitors, and an M3 Max MacBook Pro can support up to 4

The only reason I upgraded is because my workflow changed and I started to require 64 GB ram. If I stuck to my gut the first time when I bought my M1 Pro and upgraded to 32 GB or 64 GB I would’ve been fine but it was my mistake. But then again back then I was just a junior Develeoper and I wanted the best spec now I actually need it so I guess it was the right decision back then
