Pads and rotors for an s5 are around $2k at the dealership. I've done brakes on cars before, but this seems more difficult due to technology and electronics.
@ItzGRenn I'd do anything to save that 2k, but I think I'll have to pay them. Luckily the brakes do last a while. I got it used, but I think brakes are original and have 50k miles and still ok.
Congratulations to your marriage bro. All the best for you. Keep going with your videos! 😎
Yessir appreciate you bro! We got more content on the way !
very helpful video, how are the pads holding up?
Really really nice man, can deal with a little more heat than oem or Hawk 5.0 imo (don’t ask me how I know lol) and the brake dust is IMMENSELY less.
Never heard of Carbotech but i do see they are expensive as hell. How are these holding so far ?
They are expensive as shit! But damn do I love these brakes lol. The brake dust is just way better than any other pad I’ve had.
They make some of the best pads for street use.
I think you can turn the wear sensor off with VCDS. At least I was able to on my 2014.
I actually like it man. I wear my brakes abnormally 🙃🙃🙃

I’ll be honest I’m sure this is way more difficult than my wife’s Jetta but we’ll see when it’s time 🤣

Pads are fine to change but honestly when my rotors get to 50k I’d like to change them
