Going to look sick this! Wish we had rear options in the uk. I’ve got a moonlight b8.5 with yellow AP 390mm front kit and want something for the rear to balance the looks out but I’ve drawn a complete blank over here
Similar to voshmods, a slightly more economical option is to get a kit from Rotorlab. They source all of the parts for you and modify them to bolt right on when you get the kit. I think depending on how much parts are they usually do the 17z kits (not speaking for SQ5 guys cuz 17z is tiny) for around $900-$1200. It definitely beats the non-boutique kits you can buy online. That being said I have the PP brakes on my MK7 so I really don’t need a BBK for daily driving. Like voshmods, it’s two guys so it’s not a brick and mortar store and they do have a lead time. Good option for the peeps running smaller cars and don’t need something as massive.
What about the same rotors and pads with stock calipers? That brand had a set for the C63 AMG and they were quite a bit lighter in weight than factory.
Hi Good content...I like it Nothing to complain about the discs....really good...light...2 pieces But I don't understand why use cadillac assial calipers on vag platform when can be used the last updated Mlb platform vag calipers...radial calipers...oem audi...direct fitting also for the hose position. Second question regards the rear upgrade.. I am interested on both calipers upgrade on b8 b8.5 platform...Seeing Voshmod store the rear adapters seem welded ,2 piece of steel welded (also with fixing bolts welded)..and not a single steel block cnc machind how must be a brake adapter. Can you kindly confirm me this...that are welded? Maybe I'm wrong and the adapters are not welded. Best regards
I had yellow with gunmetal wheels on the silver paint. My next vision for that car after the grey wrap was a blue wrap with yellow calipers... finally coming to fruition 😭😭😭

Quick question bro out of topic LOL , when you put the IE resonated downpipes on your old s4, did you reinstall the mopart exhaust dampers on them as well ...or you trusted that those downpipes (specifically the flexpipe) was not going to break on you?
IgnitionTube it specifically doesn’t say S4/S5 applications BUT if it’s “understood” that SQ5 brakes are the same as the sedans and coupes, the I apologize. I went to their website as soon as I got off your video and didn’t see the S4/S5 listed. Only the B7 S4

Two of the same cars basically with the sq being a little bigger in size. Same engine. Sell both to get an rs. Or get a 2017 and up because the new tech and virtual cockpit make that old mmi system look like garbage. I came from a 16 s5 and traded it for an 18 s5 sportback and the tech isn't even comparable. i would just get an rs instead of adding an sq5 if u already have an s4 and we're going to stick with the 8.5's because at least it would be a step up. Nice cars though.

Considering the factory brakes are super expensive to replace just rotors and pads, this kit seems worth it for the huge upgrade in stopping power.

Excited to see your comments on this. The SQ5 brakes work great already though they are really heavy.
I still gotta get these for the rears on my B5, as well as fronts and rears for my B8
