    I know that the trib, Rambo run has a high population of wild browns.

      That is true. It’s a class A. But if I’m not mistaken it’s either super small, super posted or both. I know I have been once or twice and it was not worth fishing or returning. Plenty of other good water in area tho. Thanks for watching and commenting

    Just now found this video. Thanks so much for the kind words regarding Keystone Fly Fishing Guide. We were hoping that folks would find it useful to expand their trout fishing horizons. Keep up the good work!

      Hey Dave! Thank you so much for putting out, in my opinion, the best trout fishing book on PA. I sincerely love that book. From the feel of it, the images, to the content, nothing could be better. I have landed on some pristine water in PA due to the tips provided. I am grateful someone with your talent and expertise took the time to watch one of my videos and comment. Great moment for me! Thanks again for all you do to help other anglers. Tight lines and I look forward to even better trips ahead based on the advice of stewards of the sport like yourself!

    Decent size stream, fish pretty well spread out, good fishing, might have to check Muddy out. Spiders!! Ha!

      @tightliningmd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Muddy is definitely a nice stream, and I really liked the small feeder. Spiders were all OVER. I ran into three almost directly. Big red spotted colorful ones. That was the best one I got on film. Overall the stream holds nice stocked fish, holdovers, and wild fish. Lots of open water and pressure isn't ridiculous. I would definitely encourage it! Their TU page is incredible. Check that out ASAP!

      Thanks man. Greatly appreciated! Now that I back to two batteries and a 64 GB ultra SD I should be able to produce better videos. I have been strapped to 43 mins and its a fine balance of time on the card and getting in fishing/explaining. Appreciate you watching!

    Another good video, really enjoy the streams and action. Never fished that part of the state, I keep mostly to Central, and North Central streams. Started viewing all your videos, like your way of fishing. I see Scott (Pa Fish N Water) has been commenting, another good fly fisherman....

    • @tightliningmd
      @tightliningmd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Scott is awesome! He is how I bumped into your channel I believe. You both typically comment and view each others videos.
      I like Muddy Creek a lot. Its a nice stream with a great variety of types of water. Reminds me a bit of your home water videos, not sure what creek that is for you.
      I just upgraded my battery and SD card. My videos should be improving with length and getting almost all hook sets on film. For a bit I had to do just the once hooked up shot/in the net. Only had 43 mins to spare each time previously.
      I have never been to Northern Part of the State. I get into Southern and Central often, even though I live in MD. The fishing up that way is just too good to pass up.
      Thanks for the feedback and watching. I have always enjoyed your videos as well!

    How did you get there? What street did u follow?

    • @tightliningmd
      @tightliningmd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would suggest Keystone Foy fishing book. I use that for a good number of streams to find access, including this. I apologize but I don’t know off the top of my head. Surely in book tho!

      Hi Josh,
      Thanks for watching and commenting ting. I’d say keep it simple. Hares Ear and Pheasant Tales go a long way. Also can’t go wrong with a Walt’s worm. Good luck out there.

    Which Muddy Creek? I live in PA and there are at least two. Is this the one in Butler County north of Pittsburgh?

    Good video! That spider was funny. I have a video coming out at some point with a big spider down in NC. My son discovered it. It will be a comical clip.

      Man they were serious all over. Huge buggers and colorful as hell. My wife would have made it, hates the darn things. I walk into webs all the time, although I try to use the rod as a guide to get through brush and knock stuff down in advance, but these guys were out in force on the main paths. I have certainly seen bigger ones from width of leg to leg, but these were pretty solid body wise, at least a quarter body. Look forward to you putting out the stuff you are behind on!

    I lived my whole life right off Owad rd. I knew Mr. Owad right behind you in the beginning of your video.We all swam there growing up.We call it Bridgetown where you are!! It’s beautiful and please please try to keep the place clean and hook free as much as possible because ALOT of families swim there..... and from personal experience there’s a lot of hooks I always had to dispose of growing up. Luckily I never got one stuck in my foot... HAPPY FISHING!!!!🎣

    • @tightliningmd
      @tightliningmd  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very cool! I do enjoy that stream, and even some of the small streams that feed it. I always make sure to clean up after myself. The spot by the bridge in the beginning is all tackle, and I wouldn't be surprised if trash, worm cans, etc are left behind. Typically, but not always, fly fisherman take care of the waterway. You are lucky to grow up close to such a nice waterway.

    • @chriskokta385
      @chriskokta385 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually stocked muddy creek and some of the tribs with trout unlimited although it was from where the fly fishing stopped above Bridgeton on down... but yeah all the way along the old ma and pa railroad... those were the main access points to the creek. It was really cool and a tradition that I hope goes on for a long time.... I fished every year... on woodbine they used to have a hotdog stand and a spot to get your drinks and stuff... it was all sponsored by trout unlimited I think. Camping there the night before trout season with your spot picked out hoping to snag that 24’’ palomino were some of the most memorable times in my life...

      @@chriskokta385 That whole water way is a gem. The fly fishing only is good, but plenty of good water further upstream for sure. If I am not mistaken a whole section of it is Class A as well. I fished that once before too and enjoyed it. Thanks for watching Chris!

    • @tightliningmd

      @@chriskokta385 That is an awesome story. I was supposed to help with a stocking last year and things fell through at the last moment. It is cool to see how it is done, especially a float stock. I love the idea of a hot dog stand lol. Would have my business for sure. Opening day is always a special time of year, or in general when you have a weekend planned for a trip. Joe Humphreys said the key to life is having the next adventure to look forward to. I believe that is each fishing trip for me :) Tight lines Chris!

    Glad you enjoyed fishing Muddy. Feel free to hit our MCTU575 website and order some gear to support the Co-Op or find a way to help us out. The nursery and our handicap area was destroyed last Fall and has taken a serious effort by chapter volunteers to get things up and running. We stock over 800 browns and have multiple incubators along some of the tribs. Enjoyed the video.

      Thank you for watching. Great stream and love the tribs, especially the one in this video. Sorry to hear about the loss/damage. Last year we had some serious rain/flooding. Hopefully this year has been more smooth for you guys. Ill head over and check out the website. Thanks for watching, commenting, and hopefully subbing :)

    Hello, I am trying to figure out your set up. One of your videos referred to a “mono setup” and said to check your earlier videos, but I haven’t found it yet.

    • @tightliningmd
      @tightliningmd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Mark,
      I may need to re-label it to make it easier. The video is called "Summer School Session 1: How to Set up a Mono Rig". I believe that is the title, or very close. Let me know if you have any more questions after watching it. I assure you that once I bought in and learned it, far exceeded my expectations, was versatile, and more importantly helped me net more fish :) Good luck!

    I clicked on this vid bc the creek thumbnail looked EXACTLY like my local creeks lol. Seriously starting to get into trout fishing. I was looking at fly reels on clearance during cabelas new year sale. I eventually want to get a muskie on the fly too. Looked like a great time man. Sub number 214. Hit me back if you'd like. I am just a KY boy who yaks, wades and bank fishes for muskie, bass, trout, crappie, walleye and some saltwater species. Thanks man--keep em coming.

    • @tightliningmd
      @tightliningmd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am glad I kept that is the thumbnail then! You must have some good water close to home then, love this creek. Thanks for subbing as well. I hit you back and will be checking out more of your stuff. Saw one video briefly, love the intro video as well. You have more balls then me, I couldn't be in the water that close to a musky hitting a lure. Might scare the sh** out of me lol. Glad we crossed paths and look forward to seeing more of your stuff.
      Good luck if you fly fish. I was an avid pond and lake bank fisherman. Stumbled into fly fishing and after I got over the frustration and committed to trial and error I fell in love. The challenge of it, beauty of fish and scenery, as well as the art of the sport has me all in. I just love it.

    Great Video! Are PA stream open year-round??

    • @tightliningmd
      @tightliningmd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question, maybe some of my PA friends from other comments/videos will see and give you the specifics, but I believe most are open. The creel limits vary throughout the year. For example, some streams I fish are Delayed Harvest, so nothing kept out of it until June 15, which is fine because I don't eat them. Others are closed until opening day, usually Mid April in PA. However, I fish a lot of Class A streams, which I prefer, and they are typically open year round. Also, streams like this in the video are Fly Fishing Only Catch and Release and they are a good bet to be open year round as well. So its a tough answer, but generally yes if you aren't chasing the stock truck to keep. Hope that helps!
