That’s funny, I just bought this lens about a month ago. It is very nice lens, the only part I don’t like about it is it blurs the outside edge on one side. I noticed it on yours as well, it doesn’t blur the full edge, just one portion which can mess up some shots.

So, I clicked. I just got it and shot some test video. I like it a lot, and I like not having two lenses that I found little use for and 8 novelty lenses for which I found zero use. One lens that I like and a case only meant for it, although it’s still really big for what it holds. Plus, the Xenvo has front and back lens caps, which the Mocalaca did not -only front caps. Thank you, yet again, Omar! And a special shout out to the TH-cam algorithm for suggesting I watch this again, especially during a sale+coupon week. 🤪🤜
Seems to me this is good review for a mobile phone wide angle camera lens that I have been started looking for one quit awhile now but didn't REALLY want look for one until I get information without fake reviews or more promotion than honesty. 🤔 So I will definitely take into account your review for buying this brand type. thanks. 👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The rather large, clunky lens in this review costs about $50. But for $200 more with an iPhone 13, you get a 3rd camera lens on the iPhone 13 Pro, more camera functionality, LiDAR, and a faster GPU chip. If you have an older cell phone, this lens may be an option to get macro. But years ago I bought a clip-on style phone lens system that was smaller than this. But I didn’t use it because it was a pain to carry it along everywhere, remove the camera case, and clip it on, and reassemble everything back to normal to use for only a few pictures. For this reason, I think an all in one system (already on the iPhone) is better than a clip on lens. Thanks for the review and making us know about this though!

I have 249 vlogs on my TH-cam channel all recorded with an iPhone (11 Pro, 12 Pro, 13 Pro) no one ever complains about the quality and i’ve gotten some stunning results especially using 4k 60 slowed down to 24/30fps
@@TravelwithDaySack I haven’t tried it with that one yet, but I feel confident it will be. I’ve used it on a 12 pro max or something like that and a 13 mini. They probably have free returns also if it doesn’t work out, but I think it will work!

Instead of giving us phones with a profusion of cameras, I wish that phone companies would just give us a wide angle lens, a telephoto lens and a macro lens to put in front of the main camera.

It is the distortion (bends) of the vertical lines in the video on other edges that bugs me more than the blurs. Not great quality, I'd try and avoid this lens and the bad effect that comes with it. See if something else can do a better job.
If you want things to really work you gotta stop trying one thing and quitting because you make yourself believe you’ve tried everything. It’s more than one way to make a channel work but trying only one and expecting massive results will keep you disappointed.

Hi silly question but can I use this to video myself weight training on my mobile with the phone on a stand closer to me? Currently when doing a video to fully capture me from head to foot when say squatting I have to have mobile on a stand fairly far from me so I'm wondering if a wide angle lens would help.
