      Thanks Dank! Long live the 5ltrs! Without them every car meet would be a boring LS fest. All the best with your VS build mate.

      Thanks Clinton! A few upgrades done since then and I'm back to the dyno next month to hopefully make some good numbers. Will post a video soon.

    Hi, how have those thin mild steel manifolds held up? I thought they might crack being thin.

      Hi Mate, I've had the headers/crossover on and off a few times now and no issues so far.

    Hi mate, awesome job all round, what size turbo are you running ?

      Thanks Mate, I'm running a Borg Warner S300SX-E SXE372 91/80 72mm (Billet Compressor Wheel) Supercore rated at 500-1000hp paired with a 0.88a/r T04 Single Entry turbine housing - I got it through GCG turbos in NSW if you're interested. Cheers, Gus

      Hi Jacob, yes its a fully built ARP studded motor mate using a factory 304 crank. There's nothing too special inside that's for sure! I wanted to use up some parts I had laying around my workshop and give a turbo build a go. I'll be posting a full break down video of the build (with part numbers and everything) after the next dyno run - Just wanting for Lockdown to end so I can go :( Even though I'm pretty sure I saw 'dyno time' listed as one of the five reasons to leave home in Melb haha

    Hey mate, good stuff. Just a question - I didn't think to weld stainless to mild steel was achievable.

    • @com-mod9716
      @com-mod9716  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Tucker, yes you can weld diss similar metals but its always a compromise. The only parts stainless steel were the V-Band flanges and they welded up nicely with the TIG set right and good Argon flow using 70S-6 mild steel filler rods. Cheers, Gus
