- In loving memory of Jorge's passing in May of 2020, I want to share a new visualization of a performance nearly 24 years after the event at the Sausalito Arts Festival · Labor Day Weekend · 1997.
The video source on the right was shot by Karim Brichi (of Santanamigos and used here by kind permission), graciously provided by Genevieve Corsetti - daughter of the late, great Franco Corsetti! It took 23 years for me to see this angle of that performance! Although I'd already long-ago posted my video feed of this song, she's provided a slightly different angle from stage left, and had slightly different resolutions and sound qualities. I adjusted the video feeds to better blend side-by-side, balanced and blended both stereo audio sources, fine-tuned the EQ and voila! Presented here in my own 2-View MusicRama™ - Enjoy!
The band features: Jorge Santana, René Peraza (vocals), Curtis Ohlson (bass), Tony Manjabar (congas), Leo Rosales (timbales) and the late Franco Corsetti on Hammond organ. Carlos joined us on this song.

@René I bought one of his albums about 30 years ago. I follow that Guru. The books on that Guru have names and addresses of the Representatives for him all around the World. There was one for Mexico named Jorge Angel Santana. I had an hunch that it was him. I would be very interested to know, because it would also make sense as to why Carlos played such beautiful Spiritual music. They both did. If you meet someone who knew Jorge well or even Carlos, you could ask if he followed an Indian Guru. Thanks for your reply🙏🙏
@@axis2946 Well, I do know that his given name is Guillermo Santana, which technically means William, but he went by 'Jorge.' Never knew him as Jorge Angel. Could be a different person.
