I would give my left testicle to have lived in SF and LA back in the 60’s and 70’s. When I moved to LA in the 80’s as a 10 year old
Kid it was a war zone of gangs, I got out alive but manY if my achícanos brothers did not, RIP Angel, Tonito and so many others.

There was so many bands in the city around this time. The garages were full of music. My favorite concerts were at Precita Park and a band called The Ghetto

I agree. It was Garcia that start at the band and carried the band until his death in 2020.

The host of the show was clueless , all he wanted was to interview Carlos Santana's brother , when in reality he should interviewed Garcia ,one of the true founders of the group "Malo" ... by the way I noticed that most of the real band members were not playing there that time

Jorge is underrated and in my opinion a thousand times better than Carlos. A shame he lived in his brothers shadow, I have no idea how they got away with this.

Dick Clark’s deliberately attempted show against Don Cornelius. It failed but I felt bad for the shows host Buster Jones.

Worst interview ever! Buster Jones was asking him about health foods in Marin? Who fucking cares? He should have been asking them questions about how they started etc. Notice in the clip, Arcelio Garcia shakes his head, and just sat down???

Arcelio Garcia WAS Malo, not Jorge! He was riding on Carlo’s coattails, couldn’t play a tune!Abel Zarate was the guitarist of the band!
