Super cool , but let’s face it this is a retropower car. The whole redux thing is a middle man to market the cars and pass them onto the owner. I get that this guy had a concept in his head and has come up with a brand idea but I’d rather just go straight to retropower and get something just as good but unique if I was spending this kind of money.
What a phenomenal vehicle. Thank you for this most interesting story behind the Redux. Unmistakable E30 M3, just honed and polished to perfection, not shouty in the least - just as it should be. The shot of the front with bonnet open (7 mins in) is just insane! P.S. that colour....
I was lucky enough to see this car in the flesh, owing a genuine early 86 myself i have to say this is another level. Gents what a pure masterpiece, very well done... Everyone 😃👍

Wow, a BMW E30 M3 redone with some carbon pieces and modern engine management, then rebranded with a Redux valve cover for a cool triple price premium over a nut-and-bolts M3 rebuild... Woohoo!
is this your first retropower video? clearly you do not think a stock M3 and a Retropower build are in the same league in any way? you can argue over the price, but not over the vehicle quality.
@@uliwehner Certainly not. Just the first build I find distasteful. Didn't equate Retropower build to stock either, nor did I say anything about quality, it's just that the price is insane compared to what you get.
we had an E30 from 86 till 2012, i would want the stock style door cards. Other than that it looks awesome, love the exterior color. can't imagine designing a car like that and then having to figure out a way to sell it to 30 different people.
I don't understand all that zinc coating etc, that car wont do a lot of miles a year it wont sit out on the street for parking I doubt it will drive in the winter , My Skoda is 22 years old it sits out on the street drives in the snow and salt an its still here without major rust with normal protection
@@robinhopper6995 wait till your skoda is 35 years old, then sink 100 grand in it and ask yourself if you want it to rust ever again. You have to remove the rust to begin with, zinc metal spray is just one step extra. All new cars are zinc coated from the factory. The old cars were not. those donor cars are rusty.
Stunning machine, but insane money. You could get a concours E30 M3, an E46 M3 CSL AND a new M2 CS for less money. At least it'll help to raise the prices of standard-bodied M3s..
Redux being plastered all over really rubs me the wrong way. It's not as though he engineered any of this. Also can't stand the blue needles--M cars back then had much less badging, and, the red needle is what distinguishes M cars from the normal. Center console looks barren, and the fact that the stereo isn't flush looks aftermarket. Bone stock dash? Not nearly as bespoke in execution as a Singer for nearly the same price.

It took me until Episode 2 to realise he meant "Sport Evo" rather than "Sportivo", I kept thinking to myself I have never heard of this model.

Having struggled through both parts, I have to say it's easy to see why there are so many negative comments about that Redux guy.

The stock grey plastic dash is so jarring. Actually spoils the whole car.
It would look better with a black grill, also you have 4 headlamps rather than 3 🤦♂️
