I just bought the ironing OPMOD version from Optics Planet. It came with a metal shroud to protect the optic. One problem: if this is supposed to be compatible with RMSc slide cut, why Diane m didn’t the shroud have dimples or holes matching the two nubs in the front of the slide cut? Without the shroud, the optic fits flush. If the shroud has holes, it would only raise the optics by about 1/32”. Sent a question to Sig to see if they have an answer. Otherwise, I’m going to figure out how to get holes drilled into the bottom of the shroud.
Just picked up my P365XL with Romeo Zero! Have only shot a few rounds through it, but so far I'm loving it. Time will tell if this polymer optic holds up or if I'll have to upgrade later on. That said, this optic is very easy to get a sight picture and from that perspective, even a bit easier than my g19 with Trijicon RMR.
@@SA-5247 I want it for my shadow systems mr920 because it matches the aggressive stippling and color. But if they only bash it for it’s polymer material, then That doesn’t bother me. It works more than enough to serve its purpose for CC, I won’t be doing army drills through mud or going on mountain runs unless I’m hunting the Predator
