ROMEOZero-ELITE

  • The ROMEOZero-ELITE shares the same ultra-compact size and mounting footprint as our popular ROMEOZero micro red dot, but comes loaded with a host of premium upgrades. Starting with its scratch-resistant glass aspherical lens, paired with a proprietary carbon-infused polymer housing with reinforced lens area, a hardened steel protective shroud for an even greater level of durability, and a brand new circle-dot reticle option for faster target acquisition. The ROMEOZero Elite is also the first optic to be equipped with our new T.A.P. (Touch-Activated Programming) technology allowing the user to quickly cycle between brightness settings and reticle options. All of the rear surfaces of the housing have anti-reflection grooves molded in, and the body includes a backup rear sight notch which is marked with Grade A Swiss SuperLuminova® pigment for visibility in dark environments. The new ROMEOZero-ELITE is fully assembled in the U.S.A. in our state-of-art facility in Oregon and is compatible with all SIG Sauer P365 optics-ready pistols. Also included are custom mounting screws for compatibility with other pistols such as the Springfield® Hellcat® OSP™ and Glock® 43X MOS. #SIG #SIGSAUER #NEVERSETTLE

Sig should have admitted they messed up & discontinued the original Romeo Zero & gave all their customers a discount or something for this new “elite” one. Due to the inferior polymer glass that came with the original Romeo Zero because that’s the only problem I had with it but it was a major problem. This new “elite” version seems like nothing more than a corrected version with a circle dot instead of just the dot.

Please make the battery replaceable without having to remove the optic putting stress on the screws every time and improve the brightness adjustments to something easier to get too, sucks having to adjust brightness without being able to see the dot while doing it and that tap feature is too annoying to get too having to time it perfectly.

I personally like the idea of the lighter polymer housing & now appreciate the newly implemented Glass lens.. but seriously Sig.. when are the "battery tray" and "green dot" functions going to be implemented?
I will give up my six HS 507K-GR-X2 and three HS 507C-GR-X2 (and I'm sure many others will as well) as soon as Sig implements those 2 changes.
I don't even care about solar panels or auto dimming.
    1. Yearly re-zeroing after battery changes, is not attractive selling point
    2. As it is already known, men are prone to ocular color deficiencies.. where the red-dot works for many.. the green-dots are God-sent for others (like myself).

My ROMEOZero Elite arrived this past weekend. When I started the install on my new P322, I noticed the directions didn't mention which mounting screw to use for a P322. I went with the M3 screws which fit the P365. It would be helpful somewhere on the Sig website to address this issue since I'm still not 100% sure I chose the correct screws. If the directions were written before the P322 came out, included directions need to be revised, or at least a sticker could be placed on the correct bag or somewhere on the written directions.

I don’t think I’ve seen any good reviews on these, even the updated version doesnt have much love. Fast forward a few years seems like the same complaints. When my dad passed away I got all his stuff. He had a new in box p365x. I just removed the rear sight and plate and behold, optic cut. Now to figure out an actual better optic that pairs well with a p365x

Sig should make a version of their P365 slides that’s cut for direct low mount of the Trijicon RMRcc. I had to buy a slide from Norsso to make it work for my XL since Trijicon’s micro dot, despite having a unique footprint, is far superior to the Sig or Commie-Sun optics.

I find that the battery does not make good contact with the base of the firearm without the shroud. The bottom of the shroud helps put pressure on the battery. however when you use the shroud, then you cant use the tap features. :0( maybe puting a plate over the battery will help if you don't want to use the shroud? rock and a hard place. should have made it so you can use the shroud and tap too

20k hours of battery life are claimed (red dot only, with “slightly less” if you run with dot and circle, which I do. I should expect about 800 days of full time use. My battery died in just over two months. I don’t use the sidearm 24x7, and I am not using a high brightness. Since the optic is supposed to shut off power when immobile for a few minutes, I don’t get it. I just added a new battery. Hopefully this one will last.

I think an auto-on/off would have helped with the battery life. If a dim-to-mid bright dot is 20K, it sounds like a full circle, I'm guessing it's gonna go down to like 6 months to a year max.

I'm a fan of all my sig pistols. This sight and keeping the single button in behind the lens is terrible opinion. I wouldn't even think about buying this dot for $250. I wouldn't buy 1 if they were $100. Sorry but you dropped the ball on this. Also where is the p365 chambered in 380 that was supposed to be out a year ago?? I would think that would be priority over offering guns in different colors and slides that look used.

It will NOT fit your p320. The romeo zero series is considered a micro red dot. Micro red dots are made for the thinner 1” micro carry guns.
If you want an optic for your p320, get a romeo 1 pro.
