- I tell my wife I am an audiophile. I just don't have the money to buy the systems and speakers I want. I thought buying the cleanest, crispest, most popular earbuds would be a no-brainer. Apparently I was wrong. There is a difference between clean and smooth audio. Sometimes satisfaction comes from unexpected places.

Had the Tws1 Pro nearly a year and several buds later these remain among my favorites. They rival dual driver units like the Liberty 3 Pro for sheer clarity and detail. And better eartips (spinfit 1025s) have nicely enhanced bass impact.
Battery, connectivity, controls all still exemplary. Easily among Edifier's best efforts.
I have bought some Edifier TWS1 PRO since 2021 on Amazon, they are incredible and currently still working. Excellent sound quality, good bass, the battery lasts 12 hours, they are comfortable, have fast charging, good IP65 protection and have Qualcomm aptX codec
I have these edifier's and I love them. I bought them after being impressed with their s3000 pro bookshelf speakers and I can't believe how long they play on a single charge AND I can walk away from my phone without losing signal. I have several other pairs, bose, klipsch etc and I'm always annoyed with having to be 10 feet or less from my phone. Idk, for me the edifier's are money well spent. They consistently put our quality products
Got it few day ago as a rebound for faulty QCY HT01C (one of earbuds discharged quickly) and so far I love it. Over 10h work time? That's pretty impresive. They fit nice although they stick out of your ear a bit, but it is not a big deal.
I’ve never heard of those, but I do love the battery life and the fit. The call quality is decent. Doesn’t sound bad, but picks up all background noise. I hope you continue to like them.

I wasn't too keen on looking for earbuds but my new phone doesn't have a headphone jack, so I thought I was forced to go for earbuds, I might not have to now!
You are very welcome. I left a link for an Anker receiver in the description because it was an Amazon affiliate link and I trust Anker. I have never used that one, and it’s $40! I HIGHLY recommend MPOW. Their store was removed from Amazon but you can find the BH129 receiver on eBay for about $15. MPOW is a brand I have used for years. I have probably purchased over 10 receivers from them over the years. They have never broke, just have been lost.

I got the XM4. My ears are pretty big. So these fit right in. Nobody even notices that I’m wearing earbuds. I think these are meant for people with larger than normal ears. I’ve tried almost all other earbuds. These are just perfect for me. The sound quality is amazing!

I was debating between the xm4s and the sennheiser tw 3.
Went with the sennheisers in the end.
I also had a similar issue with pain on the exterior of the ear, but now i don't get it as much, i guess i got used to them or i found the most efficient position for them.
Sound is pretty good, definitely better than my Hyperx "gaming" headphones. But not really what i envisioned. I don't think i'll be going back to headphones because of the heat and hair strain(it doesn't really help my balding)
So the way i see it, i might find myself diving into the world of high end hi-fi wired iems. Because there doesn't seem to be anything out there on the wireless market that competes in terms of sound, and as much as i really care about convenience, the sound quality is not up to the task.
Plus there are ways to make them bluetooth wireless with things like the Fiio UTWS5

i bought these a few months ago for $35 then i got into IEMS now I only use them for working out. After I got used to BAs in the CCA CA10 the constant movement of air in dynamic drivers causes eardrum fatigue. Its subtle but I can feel it. The CCAs are around $55 so it wouldn't hurt to give them a try, especially for gaming on console
the edifier is a really good wireless pair of earphones though, very comfortable and the battery lasts for the stated 12 hours, personally I use them for an hour or two. I charge the case roughly once per week...great value for the price

The big sell for me is the 12hr battery life for work.
The soundcore spirit dot 2 for $25 are amazing..i have the Liberty 2 pro but i perfer the spirit because they fit in my ear and never fall out...the bass is awesome it doesn't have volume control which i can do without for $25 ....

I have the Sony's , they do sound good but , I can't walk more than 15 or so feet away from my phone
without bluetooth breaking up . Also , the noise canceling feature isn't as good as reviewers are claiming .
Make sure to do the earfit test for the buds. Makes a world of difference.
TWS earbuds are too subjective to put a lot of stock in reviews. IMO the best way to get into them is start low trying a couple different ones & gradually go up in price until you find your spec sweet spot. Then find good eartips

Can i ask you something about the build quality of yours?
I bought one of these and absolutely fell in love, but sadly i lost the case so the buds became useless
I bought a new one today and right off the bat i feel like i've been scammed.
The hinge just wobbles all over the place whereas the last one felt solid and well-engineered, it stayed right where i set it.
The ligths now only shine red, i could've sworn there was a blue (or green) light that would indicate a full charge
And yes it was the exact same pro model, was there a design change during that 1 year that i wasn't aware of?
I wish I had an answer for you. I actually moved on to another seat of earphones and no longer have those to check. I do not remember whether there were different color indicators or not. I do know that mine were well built and solid.
@@DiligentDad thank you, i appreciate you even replying at all. All i can say is that i bought the same pair twice and one of them being obviously lower quality definitely set off some red flags for me
Edifier TWS1 pro has a lot of issues, like when they are charged out of the case and not connected, they power off automatically. But there is no way to switch it on only put back to the case. But when the case has no juice they will not turn on.
I have advanced to more expensive earbuds, but I still believe they are the best for that price range. If the xm4’s didn’t hurt my ears, I would love to give them another chance. I currently use the Soundcore Liberty 3s. I really like them but have a long list of cons that are extremely annoying. Earbuds are really hard to review because opinion changes with experience and exposure. There are features of the TWS1 pro that are at the top of my wishlist to see in other higher quality earbuds. The comfort, seal, battery life, and highly responsive tap controls to name a few. Hope you find the right earbuds for you and Thank you for contributing to the community with your experience.

I have changed my mind a little since the review. Call quality is horrible and the mids and highs are a little quiet and muddy. The Earfun free pro 2s are better call quality with better mids and highs but a little electronic. Bass still isn’t comparable. For the price, I still say they are the best for that bracket. I use more expensive buds now, but miss the seal, bass, and quick responsiveness of the TWS1 pros.
@@DiligentDad oohh will check that out too but calls aint a factor for me, i tend to use spotify for 2-3 hours straight so imma go with the tws1 pro for battery life and sound.
Earfun battery life STINKS! Hope you like the Edifiers. They were my longest lasting earbuds and I really liked them. I use my earbuds for calls more than anything nowadays.

I got the XM4 earbuds and they are actually really good... I've got no complains with it except the foam eartips... They will eventually wear off or chip off after a few months so i replaced it with rubber eartips.
I also got the XM5 headphones and I'm surprised that the XM4 earbuds are quite on par with it. This is just my opinion of course
I wish the body of them didn’t hurt my ear. I could have changed the tips and maybe I would have adjusted to the sound eq. I don’t know. I like the bass of the Edifier, and it’s a big price difference, but the Sony’s are good quality.
@Diligent Dad, you should try the Earfun Free Pro 2. They are better and have awesome bass. The price is only $49 currently
My Edifier went through the wash. I watched a comparison video on the two. I may just take you up on the recommendation.
i was thinking about getting the edifier cause i really like the gold white looks and i would ask if those are still good by now, looking in the future when i have money (im not rich)

I have had the edifiers and it was a bad experience. They have a ton of issue within them. They are often unable to connect in a good way.
Sorry to hear that. I have always had great connectivity and no problems. That doesn’t mean others don’t. Good and bad batches maybe. I’ve actually moved on to another brand. Video is up.

these have no bass at all i have them 1 year but the sound is clear but flat! Its a crime to compare them with high end earbuds

Geninley do not believe you had put those soundcores in properly and at first it's tricky. You think you have them in ok and they are not in properly. But you brought what has worked for you.
I have since bought the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros. They’re not perfect, but probably the best I’ve encountered so far.
You should try soundpeats…in my opinion its better

I’m not super rough with it, but I have dropped it multiple times. I have been carrying them daily for three months and it looks new.

Interesting to hear. I’m definitely not saying it happens, it just didn’t happen to me for 7 months until I washed them. I like feedback and recommendations. Will have to look into them. Have you tried the Edifiers?
I've used mine for a year and they've been as great as day one.

Looks like a rebranded Soundpeats.
I looked up the soundpeats. I would say they have a similar style, but then again, the Sony and the Edifier have a similar style. They are not the same rebranded.
