Fly Fishing for King Salmon

Come along as I share some highlights from my 24th. annual family and friends fly fishing for salmon trip on the Pere Marquette River in Northern Michigan. I spent 9 days guiding my family members and friends as we floated and searched for big fish to take on a fly rod using lightweight tackle. Fishing Gear Used:
9' - 9 Wt. St. Croix fly rod
9' - 10Wt. Orvis fly rod
Billy Pate (Salmon) anti-reverse reels
Shooting fly line with 15 lb. leader and 8 lb. tippet
Size #6 (2x strong) egg flies (Variety of colors used)
Rigging: Michigan chuck & duck with a #4 or #5 slinky
Hyde Low-profile drift boat
