Awesome catches! I’m heading up there this September with my brother. Can you give me a general idea where that stretch is? Only reason I ask is because me and my brother don’t have a boat so we’re going to be wading the river, and it looks like you guys waded most of it. If you don’t want to give up your spot i totally understand, but I’m your experience is the whole river was able in September?
This video was filmed between Sullak Landing and Barothy Lodge. We drifted down the river about 20 miles by boat and stopped at over a dozen spots to fish. Access is impossible in some areas but there are many access’s points along the river. The King Salmon were everywhere., but we were there during the peak 2-weeks of the run.

I've never been. And I'm a medical student at Oakland University with barely any time off, so I am really trying to maximize my chances of catching a salmon. We're doing a full day from one access point, and then a half day from another access point, fishing spinners and Rapalas. I'm just trying to find an area where I have the greatest chance of just catching one fish. Bucket list type of trip
AIDAN ZUBAK salmon should be in the river by late September. Depends on rain some times. But just look up access points on the internet. Plenty of spots. Be careful because some spots like the green cottage is fly fishing catch and release only! Good luck!
