Thanks. The tip is fine actually, I use it the most. Just didn't clean it good last time. Also I'm not use to record a repairs under the microscope. I see way more than what is recorded under the microscope. So I always look what is visible while recording.
@@LaptopDisassembly are you sure it’s the right one? I can’t see into the side to double check. The last two I ordered came with a plastic square in the middle and while the charger fit it, it would not charge at all. Even tried a new charger cable just in case and it wouldn’t work. The original power jack did not have the plastic square in the middle.
@michelle-fh5du it should have the plastic square in the middle. It separates the ID pin from the plus line. The one put in the video is the same part number.

What mm screwdriver is required for this laptop
I use a Philips bit from this set. www.sparkfun.com/products/10865. Actually I use one bit for all the laptops. So use the one that fits correctly.
